Yes. Dogs are omnivores, and they benefit from many different fruits and vegetables for the same reasons humans do— these foods are low in fat and sugar, and high in vitamins and fibre. Raspberries are among the fruits that dogs can safely enjoy in moderation.
Be sure to feed your dog fresh or unsweetened frozen raspberries, rather than raspberries that have been dusted with sugar or packed in syrup. Too much sugar isn’t good for a dog’s health and can lead to diabetes and other health issues down the line.
Also, keep servings to less than a cup, because eating loads of raspberries could present a problem thanks to trace amounts of the sweetener xylitol, which is harmful to dogs in large quantities.
