Dog lovers know dogs are ridiculous in the best way.

When Franklin Roosevelt famously said “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself” he wasn’t thinking of the astonishing horror of the first time you see yourself in the mirror, or that time your mom introduced you to a little fluffy dude she claims is totally harmless.

He was probably not thinking about the hilarious nature of puppies at all. (He was thinking about the the New Deal, which, while groundbreaking, was completely lacking in the cute puppy department.)
