I've always loved animals, they are pure and we are lucky to have them around ☆ I've had 6 dogs with my family at the same time, not to mention all the others that came and went. I loved each and every one of them and they had a beautiful life! Now that I've moved here (I'm Brazilian and we're adapting and preparing to get another pet, but due to numerous trips, it's not the right time). So I think it's a great time to take care of animals in need when their owners can't be around! I'll try to get to know your pet and play with him in the way he likes, whether it's playing tag, fetching a ball or biting toys For those who aren't too restless, they will get affection and peace ♡ |'ll be very happy to take care of your pet, I'll give him all the affection I would give him if I could have an animal again. I work part-time as an artist, so I’m home most of the time and can give your pet plenty of attention. My husband also works from home, so there will be two people around to play with and walk your dog. We take quick potty breaks every three hours and go for one long walk in the late afternoon. And if you need only walks, I can come to your home for longer walks at whatever time works for you I don't have pets at home, and I only accept one pet at a time. Therefore, your dog will truly be the center of attention. Free access to the house, beds, and sofa. Over: I’ve taken good care of my friends’ dog and have lots of connections to many cute kittens. Always get along with them and enjoy the healing process a lot myself :) I’m doing my second year of master so I have a lot of free time during the week both on weekdays and weekends. Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: I have had a German Shepard for all of my childhood who I took care of daily, walking her everyday and taking care of her. In her older years her back legs became paralysed so she had to use a wheelchair, so I have a lot of experience with older dogs who are not in their full mobility. Now recently for the past year I have got a Labrador puppy, who is full of energy, and not easy to walk, so I have a lot of experience with younger dogs as well who are not fully trained yet. I also have lived in a household with two cats, so I have experience of taking care of them and even walking a cat on a leash. I do not have a preference for kinds of dogs or cats, I approve of them all. I’m a student, so my schedule varies from week to week, but I have a lot of flexibility and availability. My classes usually only take up part of the day, and I also have days with no classes at all. This allows me to easily plan pet care around my schedule and make plenty of time for your pet. I’m also fully available on weekends! I always make sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Before taking a pet for a walk, I make sure I fully understand their individual needs, routines, and anything I should avoid, and I keep this in mind throughout the walk. I live in an apartment without a balcony, but I’m happy to take pets outside for regular walks and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Because every animal has a different personality and routine, I always adapt my care depending on their needs and energy level. A typical day with me includes regular walks, playtime, feeding based on the owner’s instructions, lots of attention, and a calm environment where pets can relax comfortably. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the dog. Pets are never left alone for very long periods, and I always make sure they are supervised carefully indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable onwith shy or anxious dogs and try to help them feel secure with patience and gentle attention. I can also follow specific routines, feeding schedules, and basic training instructions from owners. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets. Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets. Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving. I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾 I’m currently a student and only have classes three days a week, usually just one class per day. My schedule is quite flexible, and when I do go out, I’m rarely away from home for more than 3–4 hours at a time. I live in a comfortable and quiet apartment with enough space for pets to relax and feel at home. I keep the environment clean and safe, and there are no other pets in my home. Over: Im in love with animals and would wanna always try my best to keep them safe, happy and loved as they deserve it. I do not have that much experience in serious pet sitting but I have always been around pets and have taken care of them and played with them quite a lot. Usually i have good experience with them and pets love me:)<3 My previous roommate and I used to have a cat and pet sit together sometimes, dogs as well. However in my new apartment, i just have one room (25m2) and is perhaps not the best living situation for especially bigger dogs. Otherwise small quiet pets is doable still at my place. But inside the house would be mainly in my bedroom✨ But i am more than happy to take care of them in their own home and spoil them or whatever is needed. I can be quite flexible with my time. I need more pets and animals around me as i miss it:')) Ik spreek ook goed Nederlands :) I have a part time job which is mainly during evenings until midnight ish, sometimes i go to my art studio to work there which I differs the time schedule, but it is a big space and sometimes I can bring pets with me as well:) as long as they re known to be more on the quiet side hahaa. For the rest I sometimes have classes that I attend to or am with friends, but I eventually always come back home within 3 hours max, I live also quite close to Rotterdam centraal which is nice. I have a partner that stays over sometimes and then we both take care of the pet as well which we love:)))<3 Now I only have one bedroom space with a pet proof balcony for myself, I have a kitchen next to my room and a bathroom upstairs. Enough space for a pet to wander around but also not so big for a bigger dog for example. I also have a closed off front door terrace which is also nice:)) and a little park literally next to my house yey. I am quite flexible being at a pet owners house which I understand sometimes that might be easier for a pet. When it is good weather I can walk or bike to that place if its around my area, otherwise I go with transport (I would charge the transport a bit as well since those are expensive :')) I respect the houserules ofcourse and will let the pet owner know about any updates and news:)))<3

Over: Ik ben al van kleins af aan opgegroeid met honden en katten. Kittens groot gebracht en een puppy’s opgevoed. Ook heb ik katten van de straat een huis gegeven en katten opgevangen die niet goed verzorgd werden. Honden en katten komen altijd naar me toe en het is een feestje als ik bij ze mag zijn. Ik zal er alles aan doen om ze een hele fijne tijd te geven en ze alle liefde te geven die ze nodig hebben als hun baasje even op vakantie is. Ik werk vanuit huis dus ik heb alle tijd voor de dieren. Ik ben soms wel even een boodschap doen maar dan ben ik nooit lang weg. Ik ben dan ook eigenlijk de hele dag bij de dieren en loop heel graag. Ik heb een huis zonder dieren op dit moment dus daar hebben ze alle ruimte en daar hoeft geen rekening mee gehouden te worden. Ik heb een grote hondenmand en veel fijne plekjes thuis. Er zit wel een trap in mijn huis. In de omgeving heb ik veel natuur en kan ik dus heerlijk lopen met honden. Katten hebben veel plekjes en mogen overal liggen van mij. Als ik bij u thuis kom dan neem ik alle tijd om met de dieren te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen. Ik geef ze lekker te eten en zal ze alle liefde geven.

Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too! I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby. I don’t leave dogs home alone. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

“We had a fantastic experience using the Rover app yesterday when we needed someone to watch our dog, Marley, for the day. We were lucky to find Mark, who was not only available but truly went above and beyond. To be honest, we were a bit disorganized — running late for both drop-off and pick-up — but Mark was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout. It was the first time Marley had ever been looked after by someone outside of our family and friends, so we were a little nervous about how it would go. Mark reassured us right away, saying he had some fun things planned, and let us know that although Marley was a bit anxious and scared at first, everything changed after their first walk together. Throughout the day, Mark kept us updated with photos of Marley out on a walk, in the car, and enjoying the outdoors. While we didn’t get a picture of it, Mark later shared with us that Marley had even joined him on a terrace — soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the company. Knowing how much Marley loves being around people and going on little adventures, we were thrilled to hear all about it and see how relaxed and happy he looked. By the time we picked him up, Marley was so happy with Mark that he didn’t even want to leave! It really felt like he had just spent the day with his new favorite uncle. Over: I have been a dog owner since I was 3 years old. I also attended dog trainings with my own dogs and trained them after. My dog lives back home so I do not see him a lot and I miss having a dog around which is why I signed up. I had a very easy female dog as my first and a very dominant not so easy male dog as my second, so I have experience with different tempers. I also watched my friends dogs a lot. I am currently unemployed looking for jobs so I have a lot of free time. I also have two roomates, one works from home a lot and the other can work from home if needed. I live in an apartment building where we had dogs around before and had no issues with safety. It is a big apartment so dogs can have enough space to run around and have fun. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: Ik ben sinds klein al gek op honden. Ik heb zelf ook 2 Franse Bulldogs gehad. Die ik verzorgde. Ik heb een paar honden gehad die ik heb uitgelaten voor buren. De rassen waren herders, mopshond en bull mastiff. Ik hou er heel erg van om met honden wandelingen mee te maken en mee te spelen! Ik ben 18 jaar en woon in Vlaardingen. Voor mij is Vlaardingen, Schiedam en Rotterdam het fijnste voor in de buurt om te kunnen uitlaten, vanwege de afstanden. Momenteel werk parttime. Dus heb ook geen vast rooster. Ik werk in Vlaardingen dus zou zo uit werk kunnen uitlaten. Met dagen en uren ben ik niet moeilijk en kan altijd regelen als het uitlaten echt nodig/noodzakelijk is. Ik heb alleen hondenuitlaatservice aangeklikt dus bij mij thuis gaat het helaas niet. Enige uitzondering voor mij is als ik het baasje van de hond en de hond zelf goed ken uiteindelijk, kan de hond bij mij thuis zijn.

One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too! I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby. I don’t leave dogs home alone. Dat vond Ik jammer en mis het nog altijd. Verder wil ik graag mensen helpen die voor de hond tijdelijk onderdak zoeken. Ik kan met veel honden omgaan. Vind het leuk om met ze te spelen, wandelen en overal naar toe te gaan. Ik heb ervaring met oppassen. En daarom altijd tevreden baasjes ******. Mijn referenties zijn altijd opvraagbaar. Ik laat voor twee mensen 2-3x per week de hond uit en doe dat met veel plezier. Mijn naam is Matthijs, woon in Rotterdam en ben 57 jaar. Ik heb oa Post-HBO Bedrijfskunde gestudeerd en mijn hobby’s zijn fitness, fietsen, zeilen en wandelen. Ik ben alleenstaand en heb geen kinderen en huisdieren. Ik heb op dit moment geen werk, dus ruimschoots tijd. Ik woon in een 3 kamer appartement in Rotterdam Noord in de wijk het Oude Noorden op de 4de verdieping. Verder laat ik voor twee mensen 2-3x week de hond uit. Dat doe ik met veel plezier. Honden kunnen bij mij rekenen op een veilige, warme en vertrouwde omgeving. Zij kunnen zich altijd vrij bewegen, ook lekker zelf spelen en thuis voelen.
