Over: Im in love with animals and would wanna always try my best to keep them safe, happy and loved as they deserve it. I do not have that much experience in serious pet sitting but I have always been around pets and have taken care of them and played with them quite a lot. Usually i have good experience with them and pets love me:)<3 My previous roommate and I used to have a cat and pet sit together sometimes, dogs as well. However in my new apartment, i just have one room (25m2) and is perhaps not the best living situation for especially bigger dogs. Otherwise small quiet pets is doable still at my place. You can find the photos in my gallery. I have a small balcony which is nice and our front door is a closed off open area. But inside the house would be mainly in my bedroom✨ But i am more than happy to take care of them in their own home and spoil them or whatever is needed. I can be quite flexible with my time. I need more pets and animals around me as i miss it:')) Ik spreek ook goed Nederlands :) I have a part time job which is mainly during evenings until midnight ish, sometimes i go to my art studio to work there which I differs the time schedule, but it is a big space and sometimes I can bring pets with me as well:) as long as they re known to be more on the quiet side hahaa. For the rest I sometimes have classes that I attend to or am with friends, but I eventually always come back home within 3 hours max, I live also quite close to Rotterdam centraal which is nice. I have a partner that stays over sometimes and then we both take care of the pet as well which we love:)))<3 Now I only have one bedroom space with a pet proof balcony for myself, I have a kitchen next to my room and a bathroom upstairs. Enough space for a pet to wander around but also not so big for a bigger dog for example. I also have a closed off front door terrace which is also nice:)) and a little park literally next to my house yey. I am quite flexible being at a pet owners house which I understand sometimes that might be easier for a pet. When it is good weather I can walk or bike to that place if its around my area, otherwise I go with transport (I would charge the transport a bit as well since those are expensive :')) I respect the houserules ofcourse and will let the pet owner know about any updates and news:)))<3
Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.
Over: Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber met veel ervaring met verschillende rassen en karakters. Zelf heb ik Maxi gehad, een Golden Retriever uit het asiel. Maxi had een flink rugzakje, was bang voor vreemde mensen en kon uit angst weleens bijten. Dit heeft bloed, zweet en tranen gekost, maar met heel veel geduld, liefde en duidelijke grenzen heeft hij geleerd ons te vertrouwen. Hij woont inmiddels op een plek met meer ruimte (bij mijn vriend), maar door hem weet ik precies hoe ik een hond met angst of een handleiding moet lezen en begeleiden. Daarnaast ben ik opgegroeid met Shih Tzu's bij mijn vader. De eerste heb ik van puppy af aan zelf opgevoed, waardoor ik weet wat er bij socialisatie en training komt kijken. Mijn vaders huidige Shih Tzu is ook erg eenkennig en houdt niet van vreemden, maar is dol op mij. Ik pas nog regelmatig met veel plezier op haar. Door deze ervaring ben ik niet snel onder de indruk van een hond die wat extra tijd nodig heeft om te wennen. Kleine hondjes (zoals Shih Tzu's of Teckels) of fitte, middelgrote honden die wat verlegen of eenkennig zijn, zijn bij mij in Tanthof in goede handen. Hoewel ik zelf op dit moment nog geen eigen hond heb, mis ik de wandelingen, knuffelmomenten en gezelligheid die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom heb ik een profiel op Rover aangemaakt. Zo kan ik iets doen waar ik ontzettend blij van word én tegelijkertijd andere hondeneigenaren helpen met een betrouwbare en liefdevolle oppas of wandelmaatje voor hun hond. Omdat ik fulltime als applicatiebeheerder werk en veel vanuit huis (in Delft) werk, kan ik mijn tijd flexibel indelen. De verzorging van jouw hond past dan ook perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Voor mijn werkdag start, maak ik een lekkere ochtendwandeling. Tijdens mijn werkdag ligt de hond rustig en tevreden naast mijn bureau te slapen. Rond het middaguur (tijdens mijn lunchpauze) is er tijd voor een frisse neus en een plaspauze. Na mijn werkdag neem ik de hond mee voor een uitgebreide wandeling. Let op mijn kantoordagen: Op maandag werk ik standaard op kantoor en is de opvang gesloten. Daarnaast werk ik soms nog één flexibele extra dag per week op kantoor. Mijn Rover-kalender houd ik wekelijks nauwkeurig bij, zodat je altijd precies kunt zien welke dagen ik thuiswerk! De verzorging stem ik volledig af op de service die je boekt. Komt jouw hond bij mij logeren of voor dagopvang? Dan verblijft hij in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving in mijn appartement in Tanthof. Tijdens mijn werkuren als applicatiebeheerder is er veel rust in huis en kan de hond lekker ontspannen of slapen naast mijn bureau. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag in de omgeving of het Abtswoudsepark. Breek je liever de dag van jouw hond vanuit je eigen huis? Ik bied ook een hondenuitlaatservice aan! Ik kom de hond dan bij jou thuis ophalen voor een flinke wandeling in de buurt en breng hem daarna weer voldaan thuis. Let op: Ik pas dus alleen op bij mij thuis of laat de hond uit vanaf jouw adres. Langdurig oppassen in het huis van het baasje zelf (house sitting) bied ik niet aan.

I grew up in Kenya, where my parents’ have always had dogs, and since I was around 10, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies of different breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Malteses. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving oral medication, grooming, basic training, and raising puppies. I now live in Rotterdam (Delfshaven area) and don’t have any dogs of my own here yet, but I love them, which is one reason I joined this platform! One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too! I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby. I don’t leave dogs home alone. If I ever need to step outside, my partner, who also loves dogs, will be there to take care of them. I know every dog is different and that you’ve probably created a routine that works best for them. My work schedule is also flexible throughout the day because the organisation I work for is very laid back, so I am able to regularly take dogs out for walks/to go potty throughout the day. My partner goes to work most days but has an irregular schedule so if I need to step out e.g., to do groceries, he would be home to take over the pet care for that time. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.

One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too! I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby. I don’t leave dogs home alone. Over: Ik heb zelf 3 honden gehad. Ik pas ook soms op de dieren van familie. Ik houd van dieren en zorg graag voor ze. Ik ben betrouwbaar, geduldig en geef huisdieren de aandacht en zorg die ze nodig hebben. Momenteel werk ik fulltime, maar na mijn werk heb ik genoeg tijd om met je hond/kat te spelen en hem of haar de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdient. Op werkdagen ben ik beschikbaar na 17.30 uur, op vrijdag en in het weekend de hele dag. Eind augustus begin ik met school, waardoor ik nog meer beschikbaar ben. Rondom mijn appartement zijn veel fijne wandelplekken, waardoor ik gemakkelijk en vaak met je hond kan wandelen. Ook zijn er rustige groene gebieden in de buurt waar we samen fijne en afwisselende wandelingen kunnen maken.
Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: Ik ben sinds klein al gek op honden. Ik heb zelf ook 2 Franse Bulldogs gehad. Die ik verzorgde. Ik heb een paar honden gehad die ik heb uitgelaten voor buren. De rassen waren herders, mopshond en bull mastiff. Ik hou er heel erg van om met honden wandelingen mee te maken en mee te spelen! Ik ben 18 jaar en woon in Vlaardingen. Voor mij is Vlaardingen, Schiedam en Rotterdam het fijnste voor in de buurt om te kunnen uitlaten, vanwege de afstanden. Momenteel werk parttime. Dus heb ook geen vast rooster. Ik werk in Vlaardingen dus zou zo uit werk kunnen uitlaten. Met dagen en uren ben ik niet moeilijk en kan altijd regelen als het uitlaten echt nodig/noodzakelijk is. Ik heb alleen hondenuitlaatservice aangeklikt dus bij mij thuis gaat het helaas niet. Enige uitzondering voor mij is als ik het baasje van de hond en de hond zelf goed ken uiteindelijk, kan de hond bij mij thuis zijn.

Over: Ik heb mijn hondje als een maand oude puppy in het bos gevonden en sindsdien zijn we samen. Ze is mijn eerste eigen hond, maar ik krijg regelmatig complimenten over hoe goed ze is opgevoed. Ik heb een jaar de tijd gekomen om haar op te voeden en te trainen, daarna ben ik enkele jaren met haar gaan backpacken. Hierdoor ben ik het gewend om altijd controle over mijn hond te hebben, ongeacht wat voor situatie we in zijn. Ook heb ik regelmatig contact met andere honden of pas ik op andere honden/dieren van vrienden en familie, en heb ik op verschillende boerderijen gewerkt. Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. Ik geef de voorkeur aan langere termijn housesitting. I will take my time to get to know your dog, and to introduce him/her to Kiwi. If necessary this can be done on neutral terrain or a walk. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

On a weekly basis, I also plan time for any extra tasks like grooming, cleaning their space, and making sure they have everything they need. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily adapt to the specific needs of each pet and their routines. I offer pet care either in my home or by providing dog-walking services. When pets stay at my home, I make sure they have a comfortable, safe, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. I stick to their usual routines as much as possible to help them feel at home. For dog-walking services, I ensure they get the exercise, attention, and stimulation they need, adjusting each walk to their energy level and preferences. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and well-cared for, whether they’re with me at home or out on a walk.
Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

I grew up in Kenya, where my parents’ have always had dogs, and since I was around 10, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies of different breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Malteses. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving oral medication, grooming, basic training, and raising puppies. I now live in Rotterdam (Delfshaven area) and don’t have any dogs of my own here yet, but I love them, which is one reason I joined this platform! One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too! I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby. I don’t leave dogs home alone. If I ever need to step outside, my partner, who also loves dogs, will be there to take care of them. I know every dog is different and that you’ve probably created a routine that works best for them. I go to the office only once a week, mainly on Tuesdays but this is flexible and I can go whichever day works for my schedule. This schedule allows me to be home to do pet care. My work schedule is also flexible throughout the day because the organisation I work for is very laid back, so I am able to regularly take dogs out for walks/to go potty throughout the day. My partner goes to work most days but has an irregular schedule so if I need to step out e.g., to do groceries, he would be home to take over the pet care for that time. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

Ik heb ervaring met verschillende karakters en leeftijden, en weet hoe belangrijk duidelijkheid, geduld en beweging zijn. Momenteel train ik actief een Border Collie, wat mij veel heeft geleerd over consequent zijn, positieve training en het bieden van structuur. Ik zorg met aandacht, energie en liefde. Of het nu gaat om lange wandelingen, spelen of juist rust en knuffelmomenten. Ik pas mij aan aan wat uw hond nodig heeft. Bij mij is uw hond in betrouwbare en betrokken handen. Momenteel werk ik niet en wil ik wel nog bezig zijn met dingen waar ik om geef. Dus heb ik alle tijd om de dieren zoveel mogelijk aandacht en liefde te geven. Ik ben flexibel en pas mijn zorg volledig aan aan de behoeften van uw hond of kat. Zo beschik ik over een bench voor honden, meerdere kamers die kunnen dienen als rustige plekken, en een beschutte tuin waar dieren veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. De omgeving hier is ook heel toegankelijk en fijn voor honden. Leuke wandelgebieden. Mijn eigen Border Collie is sociaal en kan goed grenzen aanvoelen, wat zorgt voor een harmonieuze omgeving. Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.

Zij kunnen zich altijd vrij bewegen, ook lekker zelf spelen en thuis voelen.
