Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-roller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.

Over: I grew up with dogs! I learned to be caring and to love animals. I like to play, walk and go for runs with dogs :) I live nearby parks but also like to go out of the city to green areas. I mostly work from Monday to Thursday, and Fridays my wife is available for dog-sitting too :) hence I have all the weekends to walk and spend good time with dogs, including if needed overnight care. Over: Vanaf mijn 13e tot ik uit huis ging, had mijn vader een fokkerij (boxers) en kwamen we meermaals per week bij de hondenclub waar we onze eigen honden - en de honden van anderen - trainden. Op mijn 14e deed ik voor het eerst zelf mee aan een wedstrijd (VZH, voor de kenners), waarbij baasjes en hun honden laten zien hoe gehoorzaam de hond is. Ik ben dus écht opgegroeid met honden, zowel die al goed luisteren, als die... Een steuntje in de rug nodig hadden ;-). Ik heb geen probleem met angstige of getraumatiseerde honden, slopers of agressievelingen word ik een stuk minder gelukkig van. Mocht je specifieke regels gehandhaafd willen zien, laat het mij gewoon weten en dan zorgen we samen dat jouw hond lekker consistent blijft! Op maandag en woensdag werk ik thuis, en van vrijdag tot en met zondag heb ik weekend! In de zomer werk ik normaliter de hele week thuis, stuur vooral even een berichtje om te kijken wat er mogelijk is. Uiteraard heb ik in de weekenden regelmatig sociale afspraken gepland, maar een week van tevoren weet ik zeker wat er mogelijk is. Ik heb geen buitenruimte (behalve een balkon), maar als een hond bij mij verblijft, zorg ik ervoor dat die in ieder geval 3 keer per dag een rondje buiten loopt. Ik woon in een buurt met veel andere honden, dus tijdens een rondje wandelen zal je hond met andere hondjes in aanraking komen. Je hond is altijd aangelijnd, los lopen is in mijn buurt geen optie. Ik woon in een appartement (~45m2) dus je hondje kan alleen bij mij blijven als hij niet heel veel beweegruimte nodig heeft. Honden mogen niet op meubels (bank/stoelen) of in de slaapkamer. Gelukkig zit ik zelf graag op de grond, dus knuffels komen ze niet zo snel tekort :)
Over: Wij hebben zelf 2 katten. Jarenlang ook een hond gehad. En vinden het leuk om af en toe voor een hondje te zorgen en daarmee anderen te helpen Vooral in de weekenden beschikbaar. Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.

“We had a fantastic experience using the Rover app yesterday when we needed someone to watch our dog, Marley, for the day. We were lucky to find Mark, who was not only available but truly went above and beyond. To be honest, we were a bit disorganized — running late for both drop-off and pick-up — but Mark was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout. It was the first time Marley had ever been looked after by someone outside of our family and friends, so we were a little nervous about how it would go. Mark reassured us right away, saying he had some fun things planned, and let us know that although Marley was a bit anxious and scared at first, everything changed after their first walk together. Throughout the day, Mark kept us updated with photos of Marley out on a walk, in the car, and enjoying the outdoors. While we didn’t get a picture of it, Mark later shared with us that Marley had even joined him on a terrace — soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the company. Knowing how much Marley loves being around people and going on little adventures, we were thrilled to hear all about it and see how relaxed and happy he looked. By the time we picked him up, Marley was so happy with Mark that he didn’t even want to leave! It really felt like he had just spent the day with his new favorite uncle. Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. Momenteel werk ik fulltime, maar na mijn werk heb ik genoeg tijd om met je hond/kat te spelen en hem of haar de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdient. Op werkdagen ben ik beschikbaar na 17.30 uur, op vrijdag en in het weekend de hele dag. Eind augustus begin ik met school, waardoor ik nog meer beschikbaar ben. Rondom mijn appartement zijn veel fijne wandelplekken, waardoor ik gemakkelijk en vaak met je hond kan wandelen. Ook zijn er rustige groene gebieden in de buurt waar we samen fijne en afwisselende wandelingen kunnen maken.

Over: Ik ben sinds klein al gek op honden. Ik heb zelf ook 2 Franse Bulldogs gehad. Die ik verzorgde. Ik heb een paar honden gehad die ik heb uitgelaten voor buren. De rassen waren herders, mopshond en bull mastiff. Ik hou er heel erg van om met honden wandelingen mee te maken en mee te spelen! Ik ben 18 jaar en woon in Vlaardingen. Voor mij is Vlaardingen, Schiedam en Rotterdam het fijnste voor in de buurt om te kunnen uitlaten, vanwege de afstanden. Momenteel werk parttime. Dus heb ook geen vast rooster. Ik werk in Vlaardingen dus zou zo uit werk kunnen uitlaten. Met dagen en uren ben ik niet moeilijk en kan altijd regelen als het uitlaten echt nodig/noodzakelijk is. Ik heb alleen hondenuitlaatservice aangeklikt dus bij mij thuis gaat het helaas niet. Enige uitzondering voor mij is als ik het baasje van de hond en de hond zelf goed ken uiteindelijk, kan de hond bij mij thuis zijn.

Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.

Over: Ik heb mijn hondje als een maand oude puppy in het bos gevonden en sindsdien zijn we samen. Ze is mijn eerste eigen hond, maar ik krijg regelmatig complimenten over hoe goed ze is opgevoed. Ik heb een jaar de tijd gekomen om haar op te voeden en te trainen, daarna ben ik enkele jaren met haar gaan backpacken. Hierdoor ben ik het gewend om altijd controle over mijn hond te hebben, ongeacht wat voor situatie we in zijn. Ook heb ik regelmatig contact met andere honden of pas ik op andere honden/dieren van vrienden en familie, en heb ik op verschillende boerderijen gewerkt. Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

Over: Wij hebben altijd honden gehad in de familie. Na de middelbare school vlogen wij uit om elders te wonen/te studeren. Mijn ouders hadden toen besloten geen honden meer te nemen.
