Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.

Wel op de derde verdieping en zonder lift, dus traplopen of optillen is wel een eis. Uitlaten kan natuurlijk altijd!

Over: Wij hebben altijd honden gehad in de familie. Na de middelbare school vlogen wij uit om elders te wonen/te studeren. Mijn ouders hadden toen besloten geen honden meer te nemen. Finally last February, I got my own cat Oompa and she's been following me very well so far :) I’m working in hybrid mode, but mostly at home. My schedule is pretty flexible, and my job also allows to work anywhere. Evening and weekends can be more dedicating :) I live in a safe and quite part of area. The apartment is on the third floor where cats can enjoy looking at birds perfectly. I alwasy close the door of the room when it’s ventilated so that they will not fall down out of the window. I rarely open the door for the safe side though. I give a lot of attention whenever I leave to make sure that nothing will be harmful and their needs are accessible.

Het zou nu niet goed voelen om een nieuwe kat te nemen maar ik houd zo ontzettend veel van ze en heb z graag in huis. Hierdoor ben ik inmiddels de vaste oppas van een de kat van goede vriend van mij. Ik kan niet wachten tot hij op vakantie gaat zodat ik kan oppassen. Maar dit kan ook anders, via deze weg hoop ik vaker op de lieve beestjes te mogen passen. Because of this, I have become the regular cat sitter for a good friend of mine's cat. I can't wait for him to go on vacation so I can cat-sit. But there is another way to do this; I hope to get to look after these sweet creatures more often through this channel. So, I am a huge animal lover, caring, and good at sensing what an animal needs.

At home, 10min walk from the studio, I have a medium sized house with a big high-fenced garden where they can hang in the sun! I am a fit woman and can go for runs and walks with the dogs and am available to them 24/7 when sitting! During the day I work as a freelancer at a photography agency in Rotterdam, where I am only with my boyfriend who I work with! It is a big office space where the dogs are free to hang around and play a bit in, I am also always available for walks during "office time". I can pretty much plan my day however I want. I can also stay working from home if needed. Work is a 10min walk from my house in Oude Noorden. I am as flexible as needed and we can arrange it in many different ways. At home at night I am completely free and can do whatever I want. They can also sleep close to me if needed. I am available to the dog 24/7. I will not leave the dog alone unnecessarily, and only if it's ok with the owner. I will always take care of enough water to drink and a cool environment. I can go for walks whenever necessary and will keep them on their leash at all times during the walks. We will previously discuss any needs the dog may have.

I love animals and I believe they are an important part of anyone's life. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

I have also worked as a part time assistant veterinarian at DKC in Dubai, which is where I learned a lot about proper animal care. I have been pet sitting dogs for over 4 years in the USA, it has brought me so much joy. I have had at least 1 dog per week, and every one with a unique personality!! Living alone can sometimes get boring, having someone who is so excited to see you every morning, and motivates you to go to the park everyday really bring another level of happiness to my day. I have experience administering a variety of different medications. While working at the clinic I have taken various first aid courses that qualify me to give CPR to house pets as well as deal with many other medical Emergencies. It means a lot to me when someone trust me to take care of their pet, it’s important to me that you feel comfortable as well, I am happy to do as many meet-n-greets, face time calls, etc. as you need to be comfortable. I promise that I will always do everything I can to keep them safe and happy while they are with me. Please find my dog care schedule below, if there is something that you would like to change I’m happy to adjust! 6:00: wake up, play/cuddle, get myself ready for the day 6:30: morning walk for 30-45 minutes. If the weather is good we will play fetch/ tug of war outside 7:30: breakfast! Normally pet owners bring their dogs food, but if you like I can also give him/her unsalted rice and chicken with cucumbers and carrots! 8:00-12:00: while I’m in the house I use this time to play, cuddle or let your dog nap (according to his needs). I can usually fit in a mini walk here if needed. This is also the time that I may be in some classes! 12:30: I am always home at this time to take your dog on another short walk, and allow him/her to get some energy out :) 13:00-17:00: while I’m in the house I use this time to play, cuddle or let your dog nap (according to his needs). I am always home from all my classes by 16:30-17:00 On every day of the week 17:30: this is when I take the longest walk :) we go out for 1 and a half hours to make sure that your dog gets all his energy out and is able to get a good night of sleep. Depending on the dog we do different things, we can run around and play fetch or just walk if you have a low energy dog :) 19:30: I always wait minimum 30-45 mins after a walk before providing food/water in order to avoid stomach bloating. Around this time is when I will give your dog his/her dinner. It is a bit later than usual but I find that it works well with most dogs schedule. 20:00: wind down time, During this time I have my dinner, do my homework and I avoid bringing your dogs energy up so that he/she rest well during the night. 22:00: by this time I’m always in bed, getting ready to sleep. Im usually let dogs on the bed to sleep with me, but I understand the importance of implementing the same rules you have at home. So if you need him/her to be crated, in a different room or on the bed I’m happy to accommodate to anything! I am a student, so I am in classes during the day. I am usually gone between 4-6 hours total during the day but I come home between each class. So I’m never away for more than 2 hours. Let me know if you’d like a copy of my class schedule! I’m happy to send it : My apartment is a lovely space and very safe for dogs and cats. I have no pets of my own so while your pet is with me, they will have my fully attention. I always keep animals on a leash outside unless you assure me that they can be left off the leash, and we practice recall in a fenced area (sometimes dogs are very trustworthy with their owners but don’t listen to other people). For the same reason, I also always carry a little bag of treats, incase your dog gets distracted, aggressive or pulls on the leash a lot I can easily catch their attention:) Regarding reactive and anxious dogs: I understand that they have a difficult time in situations like this. If your dog is anxious or reactive, i can discuss techniques and special care skills we can use together in person/over message Regarding senior dogs: I have lots of experience taking care of older dogs, they are my personal favorite :) I understand they have different schedules with different needs and I am more than happy to adjust to these things. I always keep their age and abilities in mind when caring for them. I am qualified to give any medications if needed! Regarding puppies: it can be difficult for dogs under 1 year old to stay with a sitter. Structure and discipline is the most important at this age :) I will make sure that I follow the same walking and eating schedules that you implement at home! I am veryyy patient with puppies, I know they can get very naughty hahaha I am more than confident your pet will be happy and comfortable staying with me, wether he/she is anxious, reactive, a senior dog or a puppy!

Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.
