My partner has previous experience raising and training dogs, so we understand the importance of consistency, patience, and paying attention to each dog's individual needs and personality. We also have a good understanding of basic pet safety, including foods that dogs should avoid and general precautions to keep them healthy and safe. If your dog has any special dietary requirements, feeding routines, or other specific instructions, we will carefully follow them to make sure your pet receives the care they are used to at home. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your dog can relax and feel like part of the family.
Over: Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber met veel ervaring met verschillende rassen en karakters. Zelf heb ik Maxi gehad, een Golden Retriever uit het asiel. Maxi had een flink rugzakje, was bang voor vreemde mensen en kon uit angst weleens bijten. Dit heeft bloed, zweet en tranen gekost, maar met heel veel geduld, liefde en duidelijke grenzen heeft hij geleerd ons te vertrouwen. Hij woont inmiddels op een plek met meer ruimte (bij mijn vriend), maar door hem weet ik precies hoe ik een hond met angst of een handleiding moet lezen en begeleiden. Daarnaast ben ik opgegroeid met Shih Tzu's bij mijn vader. De eerste heb ik van puppy af aan zelf opgevoed, waardoor ik weet wat er bij socialisatie en training komt kijken. Mijn vaders huidige Shih Tzu is ook erg eenkennig en houdt niet van vreemden, maar is dol op mij. Ik pas nog regelmatig met veel plezier op haar. Door deze ervaring ben ik niet snel onder de indruk van een hond die wat extra tijd nodig heeft om te wennen. Kleine hondjes (zoals Shih Tzu's of Teckels) of fitte, middelgrote honden die wat verlegen of eenkennig zijn, zijn bij mij in Tanthof in goede handen. Hoewel ik zelf op dit moment nog geen eigen hond heb, mis ik de wandelingen, knuffelmomenten en gezelligheid die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom heb ik een profiel op Rover aangemaakt. Zo kan ik iets doen waar ik ontzettend blij van word én tegelijkertijd andere hondeneigenaren helpen met een betrouwbare en liefdevolle oppas of wandelmaatje voor hun hond. Omdat ik fulltime als applicatiebeheerder werk en veel vanuit huis (in Delft) werk, kan ik mijn tijd flexibel indelen. De verzorging van jouw hond past dan ook perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Voor mijn werkdag start, maak ik een lekkere ochtendwandeling. Tijdens mijn werkdag ligt de hond rustig en tevreden naast mijn bureau te slapen. Rond het middaguur (tijdens mijn lunchpauze) is er tijd voor een frisse neus en een plaspauze. Na mijn werkdag neem ik de hond mee voor een uitgebreide wandeling. Let op mijn kantoordagen: Op maandag werk ik standaard op kantoor en is de opvang gesloten. Daarnaast werk ik soms nog één flexibele extra dag per week op kantoor. Mijn Rover-kalender houd ik wekelijks nauwkeurig bij, zodat je altijd precies kunt zien welke dagen ik thuiswerk! De verzorging stem ik volledig af op de service die je boekt. Komt jouw hond bij mij logeren of voor dagopvang? Dan verblijft hij in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving in mijn appartement in Tanthof. Tijdens mijn werkuren als applicatiebeheerder is er veel rust in huis en kan de hond lekker ontspannen of slapen naast mijn bureau. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag in de omgeving of het Abtswoudsepark. Breek je liever de dag van jouw hond vanuit je eigen huis? Ik bied ook een hondenuitlaatservice aan! Ik kom de hond dan bij jou thuis ophalen voor een flinke wandeling in de buurt en breng hem daarna weer voldaan thuis. Let op: Ik pas dus alleen op bij mij thuis of laat de hond uit vanaf jouw adres. Langdurig oppassen in het huis van het baasje zelf (house sitting) bied ik niet aan.

Over: Im in love with animals and would wanna always try my best to keep them safe, happy and loved as they deserve it. I do not have that much experience in serious pet sitting but I have always been around pets and have taken care of them and played with them quite a lot. Usually i have good experience with them and pets love me:)<3 My previous roommate and I used to have a cat and pet sit together sometimes, dogs as well. However in my new apartment, i just have one room (25m2) and is perhaps not the best living situation for especially bigger dogs. Otherwise small quiet pets is doable still at my place. You can find the photos in my gallery. I have a small balcony which is nice and our front door is a closed off open area. But inside the house would be mainly in my bedroom✨ But i am more than happy to take care of them in their own home and spoil them or whatever is needed. I can be quite flexible with my time. I need more pets and animals around me as i miss it:')) Ik spreek ook goed Nederlands :) I have a part time job which is mainly during evenings until midnight ish, sometimes i go to my art studio to work there which I differs the time schedule, but it is a big space and sometimes I can bring pets with me as well:) as long as they re known to be more on the quiet side hahaa. For the rest I sometimes have classes that I attend to or am with friends, but I eventually always come back home within 3 hours max, I live also quite close to Rotterdam centraal which is nice. I have a partner that stays over sometimes and then we both take care of the pet as well which we love:)))<3 Now I only have one bedroom space with a pet proof balcony for myself, I have a kitchen next to my room and a bathroom upstairs. Enough space for a pet to wander around but also not so big for a bigger dog for example. I also have a closed off front door terrace which is also nice:)) and a little park literally next to my house yey. I am quite flexible being at a pet owners house which I understand sometimes that might be easier for a pet. When it is good weather I can walk or bike to that place if its around my area, otherwise I go with transport (I would charge the transport a bit as well since those are expensive :')) I respect the houserules ofcourse and will let the pet owner know about any updates and news:)))<3
Over: I am very experienced with animals. I grew up with dogs in Australia from the time I was a young boy. I am lawyer who works in human rights research. Will is a trained doctor in veterinarian medicine although he now works in AI engineering. We have a little Shiba named Mochi who loves making new friends. We have cared for a wide range of dogs, so you can rest assured your fur baby is in safe hands. work full time from home, which means your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on them, top up water, and offer plenty of company and attention. We’ll fit in walks and playtime around my working hours, and someone is almost always here, so your pup gets a steady routine and constant supervision rather than being left to their own devices. We have a huge stretch of forest near our home that we take Mochi out to every day, so when your little one joins us, they’ll be coming along on our daily walks too.

I’m Cherie - I’ve been around dogs my whole life, grew up with family pets and have looked after dogs for friends and family over the years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds, sizes and energy levels. Living in Delft, I love getting outside for long walks around the canals and parks, so your pup will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I’m a grad student doing research right now, so my schedule is flexible but does vary week to week. I’m happy to work with you to find times that suit, whether that’s daily walks, drop ins or longer sits, and can usually adjust around your dog’s routine rather than the other way around. Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.

We live in an apartment with lift and a balcony. There are many green areas in our neighbourhood, where your puppy can go to explore and play. Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. Ik pas mijn planning aan op de behoeften van het dier – of het nu gaat om wandelingen, eten, spelen of knuffelen. Bij mij thuis zorg ik voor een rustige, veilige omgeving zonder andere huisdieren. Huisdieren mogen vrij rondlopen, krijgen een eigen plekje en veel persoonlijke aandacht. Bij oppas aan huis volg ik altijd de gewoontes van het dier en zorg ik voor stabiliteit. Hygiëne, rust en vertrouwen zijn voor mij heel belangrijk.
Over: Van jongs af aan heb ik een natuurlijke band met honden ik begon dan al met honden uitlaat service. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende karakters en leeftijden, en weet hoe belangrijk duidelijkheid, geduld en beweging zijn. Momenteel train ik actief een Border Collie, wat mij veel heeft geleerd over consequent zijn, positieve training en het bieden van structuur. Ik zorg met aandacht, energie en liefde. Of het nu gaat om lange wandelingen, spelen of juist rust en knuffelmomenten. Ik pas mij aan aan wat uw hond nodig heeft. Bij mij is uw hond in betrouwbare en betrokken handen. Momenteel werk ik niet en wil ik wel nog bezig zijn met dingen waar ik om geef. Dus heb ik alle tijd om de dieren zoveel mogelijk aandacht en liefde te geven. Ik ben flexibel en pas mijn zorg volledig aan aan de behoeften van uw hond of kat. Zo beschik ik over een bench voor honden, meerdere kamers die kunnen dienen als rustige plekken, en een beschutte tuin waar dieren veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. De omgeving hier is ook heel toegankelijk en fijn voor honden. Leuke wandelgebieden. Mijn eigen Border Collie is sociaal en kan goed grenzen aanvoelen, wat zorgt voor een harmonieuze omgeving. Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.

Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. Of course, we're happy to accommodate to your puppy's routine and will be recording our time together with photos so that we can share them with you.

Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. Ik geef de voorkeur aan langere termijn housesitting. I will take my time to get to know your dog, and to introduce him/her to Kiwi. If necessary this can be done on neutral terrain or a walk. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

Over: All my life I had a dog, unfortunately here in Netherlands I don't get enough time that I can bring my friend home forever. Therefore, I try to spend as much time as I can by babysitting and dog walking. They are my first love and will remain that way. I have had Doberman, German Shephard, pomeranian, Pug and Labrador Retriever(currently) as my pets back in home. Over: Pets have always been a big part of my life. Growing up in the Philippines, I was surrounded by various pets: dogs, cats, and rabbits, and my love for them has only grown over the years. Since moving to the Netherlands in 2010, I have been caring for cats and dogs through house-sitting, dog walking, and cat-sitting. What makes my care special is that I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. When your furry friend stays with us, they become part of our family. My husband and I love spending time with pets, whether it’s taking them for lovely walks through the forest, along the nearby dykes, or to the beach for some fun and fresh air. At home, there is plenty of affection — cuddles on the sofa while we watch television are definitely part of the package! Since my husband and I work from home, your pet will have company and attention most of the day. Momenteel train ik actief een Border Collie, wat mij veel heeft geleerd over consequent zijn, positieve training en het bieden van structuur. Ik zorg met aandacht, energie en liefde. Of het nu gaat om lange wandelingen, spelen of juist rust en knuffelmomenten. Ik pas mij aan aan wat uw hond nodig heeft. Bij mij is uw hond in betrouwbare en betrokken handen. Momenteel werk ik niet en wil ik wel nog bezig zijn met dingen waar ik om geef. Dus heb ik alle tijd om de dieren zoveel mogelijk aandacht en liefde te geven. Ik ben flexibel en pas mijn zorg volledig aan aan de behoeften van uw hond of kat. Zo beschik ik over een bench voor honden, meerdere kamers die kunnen dienen als rustige plekken, en een beschutte tuin waar dieren veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. De omgeving hier is ook heel toegankelijk en fijn voor honden. Leuke wandelgebieden. Mijn eigen Border Collie is sociaal en kan goed grenzen aanvoelen, wat zorgt voor een harmonieuze omgeving. Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.
