Today I am actively involved in dog rescue and have looked after many dogs of all different breeds and age groups. My most defining experience: I spent six months living in Greece, where I rescued street dogs, nursed them back to health at home and provided medical care – while at the same time managing a shelter with 120 dogs. Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. Helaas is mijn hondje overleden, en sindsdien mis ik die onvoorwaardelijke vriendschap enorm. Een nieuwe hond nemen zit er nu niet in, vanwege werk. Ik werk doordeweeks fulltime, maar op maandag- en dinsdagavond ben ik beschikbaar om jouw hond uit te laten. Daarnaast ben ik in het weekend vaak beschikbaar voor dagoppas. Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Fabio en Catalina, een jong stel uit de Buitenpepers in Den Bosch. We houden allebei ontzettend van honden en zijn ermee opgegroeid; we hebben dan ook veel ervaring en liefde daarvoor. Fabio volgt momenteel ook een opleiding tot Kynologisch Instructeur bij de Martin Gauss Academie (Edupet), waardoor we goed begrijpen wat verschillende rassen en honden nodig hebben. We kunnen tijdens het oppassen ook werken aan training zou je dat willen. We werken allebei grotendeels vanuit huis en plannen ons werk zo dat er altijd iemand thuis is. Hierdoor is er de hele dag door genoeg tijd voor aandacht, spel en natuurlijk de nodige knuffels. Zo is jouw hond nooit alleen 💕 We nemen jouw hond graag elk 2 uur mee naar buiten, en 1 à 2x per dag op een langere wandeling van 5 km door een prachtig natuurgebied (Heinis), zodat hij/zij regelmatig 5-10 km per dag beweging krijgt. Kan jouw hond mee in de auto? Dan is er ook de mogelijkheid om hem/haar mee te nemen voor langere natuurwandelingen (tot wel 20km!) in de omgeving zoals de Loonse Duinen, Vughtse Heide, Moerputten of langs de Maas 🌲 We hebben ook een volkstuintje op 10 minuten loopafstand in het Heinis-gebied, waar jouw hond lekker buiten kan spelen en snuffelen in een omheinde tuin. Uiteraard sturen we tussendoor veel updates en foto's, zodat je met een gerust hart van je vakantie kunt genieten of aan het werk kunt gaan. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: Vanaf jongs af aan heb ik al een grote liefde voor dieren, voornamelijk voor honden en katten. Deze liefde heb ik toegepast bij mijn baan als dierenartsassistente en bij mijn eigen dieren. Nu wil ik mijn passie voortzetten als hondenuitlaatservice. 
 Ik ben opgegroeid op een boerderij met allerlei verschillende dieren: schapen, geiten, varkens, kippen, ezels, pony's, konijnen, honden en katten. Inmiddels woon ik samen met mijn vriend, onze 2 katten (Lotje en Bobbie) en hond Noor. En naast het verzorgen van mijn eigen dieren, pas ik ook regelmatig op honden, katten, konijnen en paarden van anderen.
 Noor zal dan ook vaak mee gaan met de wandelingen. Het kan zijn dat ik wandelingen van honden combineer, de groepen zullen niet groter zijn dan 4 honden en vaak zelfs kleiner. Indien dit niet gewenst is kunnen de mogelijkheden besproken worden.
Ik kom uw hond ophalen en rij vervolgens naar een veilig uitlaatgebied waar ik 30 of 60 minuten met ze ga wandelen. Mijn werkgebied is alleen onder de Lek. Stuur mij een berichtje en dan kunnen we samen uw wensen bespreken. De verzorging van de dieren doe ik in overleg met de eigenaar. Wij bespreken de wensen en kijken wat de mogelijkheden zijn. Indien we hier uitkomen zal er een kennismaking plaatsvinden. Ik verzorg de dieren naar wens van de eigenaar. Dit is ook de reden dat ik graag vooraf de wensen bespreek om te kijken of dit passend is. De verzorging is altijd bij het baasje thuis en doe ik met veel liefde. Het dier krijgt bij een bezoek 30 minuten knuffels als ze daar behoefte aan hebben.

Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Jonna (25) en Ana (24) en samen wonen we in Utrecht. We zijn allebei enorme hondenliefhebbers en hebben allebei van jongs af aan veel ervaring met honden. Jonna is opgegroeid met honden en heeft sinds haar achtste altijd een hond in huis gehad. Bij haar vader woonde tot een paar jaar geleden een lieve Toller, maar nu een energieke pup mix Toller/Australian Shepard. Daarnaast heeft zij ervaring met het helpen in dierenopvangcentra, waar onder andere honden uitlaten en dagelijkse verzorging bij hoorden. Ana heeft zes jaar lang een hond gehad bij haar ouders en heeft daar veel verantwoordelijkheid in gedragen. Samen vinden we het heerlijk om met honden bezig te zijn: wandelen, trainen, spelen en natuurlijk knuffelen horen daar allemaal bij. We letten goed op het karakter en de behoeften van elke hond en passen onze aanpak daarop aan, of het nu gaat om een actieve pup of een wat rustigere, oudere hond. We wonen in een appartement met balkon (geen tuin), maar maken dagelijks meerdere wandelingen en nemen daar uitgebreid de tijd voor. Bij ons krijgen honden veel aandacht, structuur en een veilige, huiselijke plek. We kijken ernaar uit om jouw hond bij ons te mogen ontvangen! Wij werken beiden full-time, maar Ana werkt onregelmatige uren in de zorg waardoor er vaak of bijna altijd iemand thuis is. Jonna werkt 2-3 dagen per week thuis. Een lekkere ochtend wandeling, middag (mits iemand thuis is) en er lange middag I will respect any of the terms we will set together. As long as those terms are discussed, I think we should be fine! Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :) I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.
