Over: Een aantal jaar geleden had ik een oppas gezin met nog twee puppys erbij waar ik ook voor oppaste. Verder heeft mijn oma altijd honden gehad. Ook is mijn zusje dierenarts en laat ze me altijd veel zien. Ik werk parttime waardoor ik de woensdagen vrij ben. De za en zo doe ik vaak rustig aan en maak ik vaak wandelingen en daar past een hond goed bij. Ik woon in een appartement met een groot balkon die veilig omringd is door dichte hekken. Over: Ik ben vroeger opgegroeid met pitbulls en heb daar ook voor gezorgd en onderdeel uitgemaakt van de opvoeding. Ik heb nu 2 pomeranians (echt mijn eigen hondjes) en die zijn super lief en heel vrolijk en speels met andere hondjes, groot, klein maakt allemaal niks uit voor ze. Ik heb een flexibele baan dus alles kan in overleg, soms werk ik in de weekenden en soms door de weeks of ben ik weer een paar dagen vrij. Over: Zelf heb ik al twee jaar een lieve en speelse labradoodle genaamd: Ollie. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. Before moving to The Netherlands, we most recently lived in Richmond, Virginia and enjoyed walking the many urban hiking trails and parks together. I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

I’m fluent in English, Dutch and Swedish (I can teach your dog some ;) ) Ever since I can remember I’ve been a big fan of dogs. I’ve had dogs around me my whole life, I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and have in my later teens helped raised two Kangals. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a large balcony (with a serious fence). We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: nobody has died from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect his/her boundaries ;) I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.

I work from home every day—I’m a ceramic artist (all my pieces are animal themed, huge animal lover here), so your pet will not be left home alone. My home is quiet, cozy, and perfect for pets who enjoy a calm environment I grew up surrounded by animals. My family has always had both dogs and cats, so caring for pets has been a part of my life since childhood. Over the years I’ve looked after breeds including a Black Russian Terrier, Cane Corso, and Prague Ratter, as well as many cats—from tiny kittens to senior cats. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Over: Ik ben vroeger opgegroeid met pitbulls en heb daar ook voor gezorgd en onderdeel uitgemaakt van de opvoeding. Ik heb nu 2 pomeranians (echt mijn eigen hondjes) en die zijn super lief en heel vrolijk en speels met andere hondjes, groot, klein maakt allemaal niks uit voor ze. Ik heb een flexibele baan dus alles kan in overleg, soms werk ik in de weekenden en soms door de weeks of ben ik weer een paar dagen vrij. Je hond heeft wat gezelschap met mijn hondjes en ik laat ze vaker per dag uit. Ik heb heel veel speelgoed, puppypads liggen ook binnen, een kattenbak hebben we, op aanvraag kan ik ook bij u thuis komen (zonder honden indien gewenst).

Over: Honden zijn altijd een groot onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb al sinds mijn tweede levensjaar altijd één of meerdere honden thuis gehad. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende rassen, karakters en leeftijden en weet ik hoe belangrijk rust, structuur en aandacht zijn. Door mijn drukke werk en mijn regelmatige reizen vind ik het op dit moment niet eerlijk om zelf fulltime een hond te hebben. Toch mis ik de gezelligheid en liefde die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom is Rover voor mij de perfecte oplossing: ik kan honden een fijne, veilige en liefdevolle plek bieden, terwijl baasjes met een gerust hart weg kunnen. Ik behandel elke hond alsof het mijn eigen hond is. Betrouwbaarheid, goede communicatie en het welzijn van de hond staan voor mij altijd op de eerste plaats. Ik werk flexibel waardoor ik mijn planning goed kan afstemmen. Ik ben beschikbaar op zowel doordeweekse dagen als in het weekend en denk graag mee als er last-minute opvang nodig is. ik ben opgegroeid met honden, waardoor de verzorging voor mij heel natuurlijk voelt. Jouw hond verblijft in een ruim appartement van ongeveer 120 m² met voldoende ruimte om te ontspannen. Ik woon op loopafstand van zowel het Erasmuspark als het Rembrandtpark, waardoor we meerdere keren per dag fijne wandelingen kunnen maken in een groene omgeving. Of je hond nu graag actief is of juist behoefte heeft aan rust, ik zorg ervoor dat hij of zij zich veilig, ontspannen en thuis voelt.

Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!

Over: I grew up as a teenager with a golden retriever and every time I go back to Paris at my dad's, I happily take over the full routine: feeding, walking, playing, brushing hair and teeth… I walk very consistently on a daily basis, rain or shine, so a dog who wants/needs long walks has found the right sitter. This love for dogs actually goes way back: as a kid I used to walk the neighbor's dog just for the joy of it, sneaking in extra rounds whenever I could after school. So this isn't a new hobby for me, it's something I've genuinely loved my whole life. Good with big (25kg max) and small dogs! I’m working for freelance as an artist. I work mostly from home with a steady routine. I go for a long walk every morning and evening, and can also incorporate a mid day walk very easily! I live in a studio appartement with concrete floor that is very easy to clean. I have a balcony that is safe for small dogs as well, and of course enough space for setting up a dog bed in the living room !

Over: All dogs are welcome! I spent my entire childhood surrounded by animals, mostly horses, but I have tons of love and compassion for dogs as well. I enjoy outdoors and am happy to take your dog out for a longer walk. I work part-time and study. I am flexible to take your dog for a walk in the evenings and weekends. Even besides these times, feel free to hit me up and check availability. I live in an apartment. Besides me, at home is also my fiance. We both really love animals and they are always welcome at our house. It’s a spacious and quiet place.
