Over: I’ve taken good care of my friends’ dog and have lots of connections to many cute kittens. Always get along with them and enjoy the healing process a lot myself :) I’m doing my second year of master so I have a lot of free time during the week both on weekdays and weekends. I’m not very into outdoor activities especially when the winter is coming, which spares me more time inside to spend time and take good care of cats☺️ I live in a separate studio apartment all by myself. Over: Ik heb meer dan 10 jaar ervaring met eigen honden en oppassen op honden. Zowel met honden uit het asiel als geadopteerde honden als eigen honden. Ik ben ook ervaring met probleemgedrag en kan hierbij helpen in de training. Mijn achtergrond als psycholoog helpt hier ook in. Ik ben in de weekenden beschikbaar. In het weekend wandel ik vaak vroeg in de ochtend in het Kralingse bos met mijn eigen hondje. Meestal een groot rondje, maar soms kleiner, afhankelijk van wat het oppashondje aankan. De rest van de dag kan er thuis gespeeld worden met mijn hondje en kunnen we lekker relaxen op de bank samen. Ik wandel mijn hondje 4 keer op een dag, dus aan uitlaten geen gebrek. Ik heb een appartement van 90m2 met 2 balkons. Er is genoeg ruimte in de woonkamer om te spelen en er zijn genoeg ligplekjes zodat iedereen in huis tot rust kan komen. Ik woon alleen zonder kinderen, dus het is erg rustig bij mij thuis.

I've always loved animals, they are pure and we are lucky to have them around ☆ I've had 6 dogs with my family at the same time, not to mention all the others that came and went. I loved each and every one of them and they had a beautiful life! Now that I've moved here (I'm Brazilian and we're adapting and preparing to get another pet, but due to numerous trips, it's not the right time). So I think it's a great time to take care of animals in need when their owners can't be around! I'll try to get to know your pet and play with him in the way he likes, whether it's playing tag, fetching a ball or biting toys For those who aren't too restless, they will get affection and peace ♡ |'ll be very happy to take care of your pet, I'll give him all the affection I would give him if I could have an animal again. I work part-time as an artist, so I’m home most of the time and can give your pet plenty of attention. My husband also works from home, so there will be two people around to play with and walk your dog. We take quick potty breaks every three hours and go for one long walk in the late afternoon. And if you need only walks, I can come to your home for longer walks at whatever time works for you I don't have pets at home, and I only accept one pet at a time. Therefore, your dog will truly be the center of attention. Free access to the house, beds, and sofa. (unless you don't like it in your home, in which case I'll follow the same routine he's already used to)

Over: I have had a German Shepard for all of my childhood who I took care of daily, walking her everyday and taking care of her. In her older years her back legs became paralysed so she had to use a wheelchair, so I have a lot of experience with older dogs who are not in their full mobility. Now recently for the past year I have got a Labrador puppy, who is full of energy, and not easy to walk, so I have a lot of experience with younger dogs as well who are not fully trained yet. I also have lived in a household with two cats, so I have experience of taking care of them and even walking a cat on a leash. I do not have a preference for kinds of dogs or cats, I approve of them all. I’m a student, so my schedule varies from week to week, but I have a lot of flexibility and availability. My classes usually only take up part of the day, and I also have days with no classes at all. This allows me to easily plan pet care around my schedule and make plenty of time for your pet. I’m also fully available on weekends! I always make sure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Before taking a pet for a walk, I make sure I fully understand their individual needs, routines, and anything I should avoid, and I keep this in mind throughout the walk. I live in an apartment without a balcony, but I’m happy to take pets outside for regular walks and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Over: Hi! My name is Nehir, and I’m a 20-year-old Psychology student living in Rotterdam. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I grew up around many different pets, which gave me years of experience understanding animal behavior and care.

I am a calm, patient, and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Because every animal has a different personality and routine, I always adapt my care depending on their needs and energy level.

A typical day with me includes regular walks, playtime, feeding based on the owner’s instructions, lots of attention, and a calm environment where pets can relax comfortably. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the dog. Pets are never left alone for very long periods, and I always make sure they are supervised carefully indoors and outdoors. I am comfortable onwith shy or anxious dogs and try to help them feel secure with patience and gentle attention. I can also follow specific routines, feeding schedules, and basic training instructions from owners. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets.

Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets.

Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving.

I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾 I’m currently a student and only have classes three days a week, usually just one class per day. My schedule is quite flexible, and when I do go out, I’m rarely away from home for more than 3–4 hours at a time. I live in a comfortable and quiet apartment with enough space for pets to relax and feel at home. I keep the environment clean and safe, and there are no other pets in my home. I always follow the owner’s routine and instructions and make sure their pet gets plenty of attention and feels comfortable.

Over: I adopted beloved dog Lulu when he was 6 years and he spend his next 8 years of his life with me. When I had him and after that I keep pet sitting to experience abundance and unconditional love and the inspiration I experience is not comparable with anything. Im painter and video artist, I spent most of my time at home in my studio and our garden. I would love to have a furry companion. I have fenced yard,and I take long walk everyday at beach or the park around my house. I would play with them, walk with dogs and make a comfortable safe space to enjoy eachother presence.

After every walk, they will get treats and then we'll play some more if they're up for it. Then, in the afternoons we will spend some time together on the couch while we watch something on TV. Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. Of course, we're happy to accommodate to your puppy's routine and will be recording our time together with photos so that we can share them with you.

I grew up in Kenya, where my parents’ have always had dogs, and since I was around 10, I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies of different breeds, from Golden Retrievers to Malteses. I have experience with feeding, walking, giving oral medication, grooming, basic training, and raising puppies.

 I now live in Rotterdam (Delfshaven area) and don’t have any dogs of my own here yet, but I love them, which is one reason I joined this platform!

 One thing that makes me a bit different from many sitters is that I usually only take care of one pet at a time and don’t have pets of my own. So if your dog is uncomfortable/anxious around other dogs or just prefers having all the attention, that's no problem. Of course, I’m happy to look after social dogs too!

 I work full-time in climate policy research, but I mainly work from home and only go to the office a maximum of once a week. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can take dogs out throughout the day, usually around four times: morning, lunchtime, late afternoon, and before bed. I live in an apartment but have figured out lots of different green walking routes nearby.

 I don’t leave dogs home alone. If I ever need to step outside, my partner, who also loves dogs, will be there to take care of them.

 I know every dog is different and that you’ve probably created a routine that works best for them. Please tell me! I always do my best to stick to it to make them feel as comfortable as possible.

My work schedule is also flexible throughout the day because the organisation I work for is very laid back, so I am able to regularly take dogs out for walks/to go potty throughout the day. My partner goes to work most days but has an irregular schedule so if I need to step out e.g., to do groceries, he would be home to take over the pet care for that time. I live in a fairly spacious apartment and have a park across the road where I would take the dogs in my care for walks. There are also multiple other green walking routes in my neighbourhood. I‘m very respecful of owners routines for their pet and would follow instructions closely.

Over: I have been a dog owner since I was 3 years old. I also attended dog trainings with my own dogs and trained them after. My dog lives back home so I do not see him a lot and I miss having a dog around which is why I signed up. I had a very easy female dog as my first and a very dominant not so easy male dog as my second, so I have experience with different tempers. I also watched my friends dogs a lot. I am currently unemployed looking for jobs so I have a lot of free time. I also have two roomates, one works from home a lot and the other can work from home if needed. I live in an apartment building where we had dogs around before and had no issues with safety. It is a big apartment so dogs can have enough space to run around and have fun. Het park is a 5-10 minutes walk from us which is very convenient for nice walks.

Over: I have own cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits and birds when I was living in my home town. After I moved to another city, (since I missed a lot my pets) I join a pets refugee where we could provide pet care as going for the walk, make dogs socialize between them and of course, controlled them Hello! Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Momenteel train ik actief een Border Collie, wat mij veel heeft geleerd over consequent zijn, positieve training en het bieden van structuur. Ik zorg met aandacht, energie en liefde. Of het nu gaat om lange wandelingen, spelen of juist rust en knuffelmomenten. Ik pas mij aan aan wat uw hond nodig heeft. Bij mij is uw hond in betrouwbare en betrokken handen. Momenteel werk ik niet en wil ik wel nog bezig zijn met dingen waar ik om geef. Dus heb ik alle tijd om de dieren zoveel mogelijk aandacht en liefde te geven. Ik ben flexibel en pas mijn zorg volledig aan aan de behoeften van uw hond of kat. Zo beschik ik over een bench voor honden, meerdere kamers die kunnen dienen als rustige plekken, en een beschutte tuin waar dieren veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. De omgeving hier is ook heel toegankelijk en fijn voor honden. Leuke wandelgebieden. Mijn eigen Border Collie is sociaal en kan goed grenzen aanvoelen, wat zorgt voor een harmonieuze omgeving. Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.
