Ik ben een zeer ervaren huizenruiler en heb 14 jaar via uitwisselingen op huizen en huisdieren gepast in - en buiten Europa. Ik weet dus hoe het is om dieren bij iemand achter te laten en om voor andere dan eigen dieren te zorgen. Sinds 2024 heb ik zelf geen dieren meer. Mijn vaste oppas hond (was 15) en vaste oppas poes (was 17) zijn in 2025 overleden. Via een grote Britse website pas ik nu op honden en katten in het buitenland in ruil voor een verblijf zodat ik kan reizen. Via Rover.com zoek ik honden waarop ik kan passen als ik thuis ben. Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met dieren en heb altijd een grote liefde gehad voor dieren. Thuis hadden we katten, konijnen en hamsters, waardoor ik al op jonge leeftijd gewend ben om voor dieren te zorgen. Ik werk parttime op een buitenschoolse opvang. Over: Lifelong dog lover offering reliable care! I grew up with pups and have my own friendly dog. I provide walks and visits, follow your schedule, and treat your pet like family. Although I work full-time, I always make sure the dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I work alternating shifts, which gives me flexibility throughout the day. Even when I have an early shift, I'm used to early mornings, so getting up at 4 a.m. isn't a problem for me. Dogs staying with me will enjoy at least four walks a day: one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and two more walks before bedtime. I also spend a lot of time outdoors with my own dog, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to explore, exercise, and have fun. I understand that every dog has different needs. If your dog prefers to walk alone or isn't comfortable with other dogs, I'm more than happy to take them on separate walks. I don't use a crate unless that's part of your dog's normal routine and you specifically request it. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they're with me. I can easily take care of your dog's or cats special needs, my own dog is allergic to chicken and is very picky. I have lots of patience and I would care for it as for my own baby.

I adore animals of all shapes and sizes and love getting to know their individual personalities, because no two fur babies are the same! I currently have 4 guinea pigs of my own called Elvis, Sprout, Nugget & Crumpet that live in their own piggy palace and would love to have a dog once we have a bigger outdoor space. I grew up with a working cocker spaniel called Bramble who I absolutely adored. Since moving to The Netherlands in 2023, I’ve found petsitting to be an amazing way to meet all kinds of animals (and their humans!) whilst exploring more of this wonderful country. Over: Mijn naam is Yael, 33 jaar oud en woon met mijn vriend Reno en jonge kinderen (4 en 2 jaar) in Gouderak. Wij hebben zelf een dwergkees van 6 jaar en een paar kippen (deze zijn afgesloten van de tuin). Rox houdt niet van al te drukke honden dus het liefst wat rustigere honden :). We hebben een grote tuin met een afgesloten hek waar ze heerlijk kunnen spelen en omdat ik thuis werk is hier altijd wel iemand thuis! Omdat wij jonge kinderen hebben is het belangrijk dat je hond goed met kinderen overweg kan. Ze weten dat ze geen honden moeten optillen en kunnen er zelf goed mee omgaan. Ik werk thuis dus je hond krijgt alle aandacht! Dus zoek je een oppas voor je viervoeter, stuur mij gerust een berichtje en dan maken we snel kennis! Groetjes Yael en Roxy! Er is hier altijd iemand thuis om je hondje de aandacht te geven die hij/zij nodig heeft :) dit in verband met thuiswerken en roostervrije dagen We hebben een grote omheinde tuin waar je hond heerlijk kan spelen. Onze kids vinden het ook heel leuk om met honden een bal te gooien oid. Je hond krijgt hier alle liefde en aandacht :)
Over: Ik heb het geluk gehad om vaak op te mogen passen op de leukste hondjes van vrienden. Dit is iets wat ik vaker wil doen! Ik werk als zzp'er vanuit huis dus ik ben heel flexibel en met genoeg tijd om voldoende aandacht te kunnen geven aan de hondjes. Ik woon in een vrijstaand huis met een grote omheinde tuin. Dus er kan vaak genoeg een frisse neus gehaald worden! Ook zijn mijn ouders vaak thuis om op te passen, mocht ik weg moeten. Er is daarom altijd wel iemand thuis.

“Fernanda was nog op erg korte termijn beschikbaar was voor ons heel fijn was!! Vooraf was ze vriendelijk en duidelijk in de communicatie en we konden Lana met een gerust gevoel bij Fernanda achterlaten. Toen we Lana kwamen ophalen was ze helemaal relaxt en had ze graag nog langer willen blijven. Rapport van Rover is ook uitgebreid ingevuld dus dat is ook erg fijn. Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met de Ierse setter van mijn opa & oma, ik bracht veel tijd met haar door, iedere dag wandelen en spelen met haar. Hier is mijn liefde voor honden begonnen. Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

Over: Both of us are currently working from home, and our schedules allow us to be flexible to care for your pet. There will always be 2 pairs of watchful eyes on your pet and we will never leave them unattended even if they are sleeping. We also love taking walks in nature, so we would be very happy to walk your dog and spend time with them outdoors. Our weekends are very flexible, so we are open to also watching your pets for a longer duration! We have a quiet apartment, with plenty of space for the pets to run around and play. As we regularly pet-sit, we always ensure that the pet has the water bowl filled, and a cozy corner with their toys and blanket. We make sure that our balcony is closed, and all decorative objects in the house are out-of-reach. We love playing and cuddling with the pets and always keep a constant eye on them and send photo/video updates to the pet parents.
Over: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood. For 14 years I had my own loyal companion by my side. Today I am actively involved in dog rescue and have looked after many dogs of all different breeds and age groups. My most defining experience: I spent six months living in Greece, where I rescued street dogs, nursed them back to health at home and provided medical care. At the same time managing a shelter with 120 dogs. From newborns and puppies to elderly, sick or traumatised animals, I have experienced and cared for dogs at every stage of life. With me, dogs are in loving, experienced hands. I treat them like my own. Having just moved to the Netherlands and not yet having a fixed job, I am very flexible with my time. Especially during the week I am available almost anytime. I can adapt spontaneously and flexibly to your dog's needs, whether it's for a few hours or several days. I live in a cosy 65m² apartment in the heart of Vught, right next to plenty of green space. As someone who loves being outdoors in nature, your dog will enjoy long daily walks and fresh air with me.
