Wij hebben zelf een dwergkees van 6 jaar en een paar kippen (deze zijn afgesloten van de tuin). Rox houdt niet van al te drukke honden dus het liefst wat rustigere honden :). We hebben een grote tuin met een afgesloten hek waar ze heerlijk kunnen spelen en omdat ik thuis werk is hier altijd wel iemand thuis! Omdat wij jonge kinderen hebben is het belangrijk dat je hond goed met kinderen overweg kan. Ze weten dat ze geen honden moeten optillen en kunnen er zelf goed mee omgaan. Over: I've taken care of my family dog since I was 14, and later I got a beautiful cat named April. In the past years, I regularly sat with my friend's cats and dogs when they traveled, and helped with neighbors' pets too. I love and care deeply about pets and always take the best care of them, so you can be sure your pet will be in the best hands. I'm currently working part-time and working from home. My schedule is very flexible, and I am free on weekends. I can also stay overnight or on holidays if needed. Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.
Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. Omdat ik zelf momenteel geen huisdieren heb maar wel de behoefte aan gezelschap van dieren leek het mij een win-win situatie om mijzelf hier beschikbaar te stellen om op huisdieren te passen. Daarnaast ben ik erg alert en heb ik een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel. Ik hoop op deze manier mijn leven een positieve kleur te geven ! Ik ben erg geduldig en kan goed de energie van mens en dier aanvoelen. Vrienden en familie zouden mij omschrijven als lief, geduldig en zorgzaam. Ik heb ervaring met zowel katten als honden maar ook kleine knaagdieren, reptielen en vogels, alle dieren zijn in principe welkom. Wij wonen in een rijtjeshuis van 143 vierkantemeter met tuin, in de omgeving is veel groen waar ook genoeg uitlaat plaatsen zijn, dit betekend dat er korte maar ook lange wandelingen gemaakt kunnen worden. Ik hoop dat we snel kennis kunnen maken !

Over: Wij hebben jaren lang verschilldende honden gehad op dit moment hebben wij Terror onze mopshondxfranse bulldog. Grote honden en kleine honden het maakt mij niet uit. We hebben met beide ervaring. Mij man en ik zijn grote dierenliefhebbers. Wij hebben kennis en kunde over honden, katten, vogels , vissen etc. Mijn man is jarenlang eigenaar geweest van een dierenwinkel. Wij hebben een tuin, en voldoende uitlaat gelegenheden in de omgeving. Enkele keren in de week gaan wij naar grote uitlaat parken. We recently got a puppy at home and it will be amazing if he can have some company, in my house there are also 2 children who are fans of doggies. What originally started with taking care of our neighbour's dog when I still lived with my family in Germany has turned into becoming a pet-sitter for more than 5 years now. I mostly take care of dogs, all kind of different breeds: teckles, golden retriever, friese stabij, irish setter, chiuaua, pug, soft coated terrier, labrador, elo, and many more. Well, I can say that we had many dogs in the family over the years, and I’ve always had a way them. Teaching dogs the basics comes easy to me, and I love learning about owners and their dogs. Operating from intuition and trust, I am predictable and consistent, which makes them feel safe. On another note, I am retired and love to be outside in nature and have adventures together. Almost every day I go for a walk in the Dutch forests or sand dunes. Usually some friends will tag along. Everybody loves cruising the country roads in my Tesla model S with free electricity ;) I am not bragging here, but merely expressing my daily gratitude for what it enables us to do. It has a big trunk with a dog fence and room for one huge, or two midsized dogs :) Now, imagine your dog(s) being tended to every day, and being together outside most of the time, coming home with me in our beautiful house with kind and loving people, where they are massaged and cuddled. About multi-day stays: if you want your dog(s) to have a stable rhythm and a peaceful home at night, then that can be arranged. And if you like the idea of us going on a camping trip, then that would be quite the adventure ;) Did I mention I have Apple AirTags (with my phone number on them) to track the dogs? I could even share the dogs' location so you can see where we are ;) I am retired and available a lot, and very flexible. You can call me any day to see if I am available any of the next days. (For multi day plans please contact me some days in advance.) I will give the dog the attention it needs, and help it to feel at ease. Dogs relax with me very quickly and will get all the cuddles they desire! I usually allow dogs on my couch, but if you want me to train them a certain way (like staying on the floor) that is fine too, of course. At my home we do have stairs, but of course I will carry the dog if needed. We have safety fences for babies and dogs on every floor.
Over: Ik heb sinds mijn geboorte honden gehad en nu zelf ook een eigen hond. Ik heb veel ervaring met verschillende rassen en uitlaten. Over: Saying I’m good with dogs would be an understatement. I’ve had dogs all my life and the only reason I don’t have one myself right now is because I’m studying medicine and I don’t have the time. I’ve worked for a dog walking company for about a year which I absolutely adored, but also couldn’t keep doing due to my studies. I’ve trained my Old German Shepherd dog (who lives with my parents) through a trainer and learned how to train dogs quite well. Through the dog walking company I also got to be a dog sitter multiple times, for multiple days at a time. Most dogs trust me from the moment they meet me, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I combine genuine love for dogs with real hands on experience, training knowledge, and a calm, trustworthy presence dogs naturally respond to. Having worked professionally as both a dog walker and a sitter, I’m very comfortable handling responsibility, routine and unexpected situations. Whether it’s a young energetic dog that needs structure and routine, or an older or more sensitive pup that needs patience and reassurance, I naturally adjust to what the dog needs. I also genuinely love spending time with dogs. Even though medicine takes up most of my time right now, dogs have always been the thing that grounds me and brings me joy. Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.
Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :) I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.
