“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Ik raad Cristina iedereen aan Sky has been staying out for the first time in his entire life. I found it very exciting, but were well supervised. I got an app every day with pictures and how it was going. Sky had a great time, Sky was also just on vacation. Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Over: I've been caring for cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we had three family dogs and a cat, and by the time I was 21, my family had taken in seven stray dogs. Living with them was one of the happiest periods of my life. I miss them dearly and would love the opportunity to spend time with and care for pets here in Amsterdam as well. I really love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cosy, and cared for 💛 I’m available for boarding on Fridays and weekends, and they’re also welcome to stay with me during the week. I’m happy to pick them up around Amsterdam Zuid if Uithoorn is a bit far for you, as I work in Amsterdam :) I don’t currently have any animals of my own. I have a big garden and a cute, farm-like neighbourhood with plenty of parks and forest nearby. Dogs and cats stay indoors, and I would take them outside regularly for walks and play.

Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Jonna (25) en Ana (24) en samen wonen we in Utrecht. We zijn allebei enorme hondenliefhebbers en hebben allebei van jongs af aan veel ervaring met honden. Jonna is opgegroeid met honden en heeft sinds haar achtste altijd een hond in huis gehad. Bij haar vader woonde tot een paar jaar geleden een lieve Toller, maar nu een energieke pup mix Toller/Australian Shepard. Daarnaast heeft zij ervaring met het helpen in dierenopvangcentra, waar onder andere honden uitlaten en dagelijkse verzorging bij hoorden. Ana heeft zes jaar lang een hond gehad bij haar ouders en heeft daar veel verantwoordelijkheid in gedragen. Samen vinden we het heerlijk om met honden bezig te zijn: wandelen, trainen, spelen en natuurlijk knuffelen horen daar allemaal bij. We letten goed op het karakter en de behoeften van elke hond en passen onze aanpak daarop aan, of het nu gaat om een actieve pup of een wat rustigere, oudere hond. We wonen in een appartement met balkon (geen tuin), maar maken dagelijks meerdere wandelingen en nemen daar uitgebreid de tijd voor. Bij ons krijgen honden veel aandacht, structuur en een veilige, huiselijke plek. We kijken ernaar uit om jouw hond bij ons te mogen ontvangen! Wij werken beiden full-time, maar Ana werkt onregelmatige uren in de zorg waardoor er vaak of bijna altijd iemand thuis is. Jonna werkt 2-3 dagen per week thuis. Een lekkere ochtend wandeling, middag (mits iemand thuis is) en er lange middag I will respect any of the terms we will set together. As long as those terms are discussed, I think we should be fine! Let’s chat about it :)
Over: Saying I’m good with dogs would be an understatement. I’ve had dogs all my life and the only reason I don’t have one myself right now is because I’m studying medicine and I don’t have the time. I’ve worked for a dog walking company for about a year which I absolutely adored, but also couldn’t keep doing due to my studies. I’ve trained my Old German Shepherd dog (who lives with my parents) through a trainer and learned how to train dogs quite well. Through the dog walking company I also got to be a dog sitter multiple times, for multiple days at a time. Most dogs trust me from the moment they meet me, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I combine genuine love for dogs with real hands on experience, training knowledge, and a calm, trustworthy presence dogs naturally respond to. Having worked professionally as both a dog walker and a sitter, I’m very comfortable handling responsibility, routine and unexpected situations. Whether it’s a young energetic dog that needs structure and routine, or an older or more sensitive pup that needs patience and reassurance, I naturally adjust to what the dog needs. I also genuinely love spending time with dogs. Even though medicine takes up most of my time right now, dogs have always been the thing that grounds me and brings me joy. That means that when I care for someone’s dog, I don’t just do it as a side job, I do it with real attention and enthusiasm. You can rest assured: your dog will be safe with me. I’m currently working part time and studying full time until the end of june 2026.I will adjust my schedule based on the needs of your dog, meaning that when I accept your pet sitting request, caring for your dog will be the center of my attention. I care for your pet in whatever way you want or need me to! I live on the ground floor with no roommates, in a 42 square meter apartment. I have the Amsterdamse Bos at just walking distance and will always make time for a long walk once a day.

Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.
