Als ik even weg moet, is dat meestal maximaal twee uur. Waar mogelijk neem ik de hond ook graag mee, zodat hij of zij zo min mogelijk alleen hoeft te zijn. Ik woon in een appartement op de eerste verdieping (zonder lift) met een ruime, volledig afgesloten tuin. Thuis wonen ook twee rustige vrouwelijke keeshonden van 10 jaar oud. De tuin kan indien nodig worden opgedeeld, zodat honden hun eigen ruimte hebben en rustig aan elkaar kunnen wennen. In huis zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige omgeving en let ik goed op de behoeften en het ritme van de hond.

I went from not knowing much about cats to truly loving their company every day. I also cared for a friend's three cats during her vacation (feeding, medicine, and cleaning). In Wageningen, I've done multiple home visits. For boarding at my place, your cat can stay in my room or explore the corridor. 💕 My style I give cuddles but also space. I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. My home & roommates I live on a student floor, and my roommates have given me permission to bring a pet. It's completely allowed and not a disturbance. The dog or cat will stay in my room. When I go to the kitchen, they might see my roommates (who usually enjoy it) but I'm the only one taking care of them! :) Preferences I prefer dogs that are house-trained because I live in a building. For cats, they are welcome to stay in my room or explore the corridor if they are comfortable doing so. Dog walks – what I need from you Please provide a sturdy leash and snacks in case your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. In that situation, I always change streets or take an alternate route when I see another dog approaching. Over: Van jongs af aan ben ik gek op honden! Liefst honden waar je lang mee kunt wandelen, rennen en spelen. Energiek. Ik ben via mijn ouders, familie en vrienden veel in aanmerking gekomen met honden. Pas nu ook regelmatig op en loop met een hond voor de organisatie Dierenbuddy. Over: Ik heb al sinds mijn 8ste honden gehad. Eerst een straathond die hielp ik toen verzorgen met mijn ouders, heel veel uitlaten, hardlopen en interactieve spelletjes zoals snifferdoeken of dat hij brokjes moest zoeken. Dit was namelijk wel een erg actieve hond. Nu woon ik als student in leeuwarden, thuis bij me ouders heb ik alle puppy training van onze nu 3 jarige labrador verzorgt. En we hebben ook nog eens een mopshond van 16 dus de oudjes worden ook niet buitengesloten😉. Iniedergeval mis ik het nu wel om lekker honden te trainen, uitlaten en verzorgen. Vandaar dit account! Momenteel ben ik dus student. Ik doe dierenmanagment, maar gelukkig zijn mijn uren heel flexibel. Als je bij mij wilt boeken dan is het wel fijn als er contact wordt gelegd, sinds sommigen weken drukker kunnen zijn dan andere. Ik woon wel in een appartement die niet enorm groot is vandaar dat ik ook geen honden van 45+ kilo aaneem. Ik neem oppas honden alleen aan als ik genoeg tijd heb, vandaar is het character en ras ook fijn om te weten zodat ik weet hoeveel tijd ervoor nodig is. Over: I've had family dogs growing up and was always the one to feed them, walk them or generally take care of them. I got my first dog 11 years ago and it's been the best thing to ever happen to me. We added a second dog almost 10 years ago. My first boy made me a dog owner and my second has made me a dog trainer. I've read lots of dog training books and work with my boys everyday using positive reinforcemen. I love taking them hiking, camping, to the dog park or just to the coffee shop. I'm passionate about making sure they get activity every single day and would love to help other dogs do the same. My younger dog is good at playing with small and medium dogs. Despite their age, they're still very active. We walk 10km a day and play.

Over: Ik ben Kees, 27 jaar, en ik hou ervan om buiten actief bezig te zijn — het liefst samen met een hond. Naast mijn studie klinische psychologie (vanuit huis) werk ik graag met dieren, omdat ik interesse heb in gedrag en het leuk vind om honden goed aan te voelen en op hun gemak te stellen. Tijdens het uitlaten kijk ik naar wat een hond nodig heeft: een rustige wandeling, spelen of juist extra beweging. Ik wandel graag actief en ga consequent en duidelijk met honden om, zodat zij structuur ervaren en zich veilig voelen. Betrouwbaarheid en een fijne, veilige wandeling staan daarbij altijd voorop. Ik ben opgegroeid met blauwe keeshonden en heb daarnaast regelmatig opgepast op honden van vrienden en familie. Ik woon in een appartement op de eerste verdieping (zonder lift) met een ruime, volledig afgesloten tuin. Thuis wonen ook twee rustige vrouwelijke keeshonden van 10 jaar oud. De tuin kan indien nodig worden opgedeeld, zodat honden hun eigen ruimte hebben en rustig aan elkaar kunnen wennen. In huis zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige omgeving en let ik goed op de behoeften en het ritme van de hond.

I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Ik heb cursussen met hem gedaan en ik heb ik inmiddels nog meer kennis opgedaan over honden en alles wat daarbij komt kijken. Ik heb een fulltime baan met redelijk flexibele werktijden, maar ik ben meestal rond 15:30 uur thuis. Ik ben toch al veel buiten met mijn eigen hond dus het is alleen maar leuk om bij te verdienen met iets wat ik toch al aan het doen ben. Op basis van de behoefte van de hond kijk ik of deze aansluiten op de behoeften van mijn eigen hond. Ik zal zeker in het weekend de hele tijd aanwezig zijn. Ik kan wassen, nagels doen, tanden verzorgen, spelen, wandelen, eten geven en gewoon bij je hond zijn.

Daarnaast maak ik graag wandelingen in de dichtbijgelegen bossen en prachtige duinen, zodat honden voldoende beweging, frisse lucht en ontspanning krijgen. Ik verzorg huisdieren in een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving met veel persoonlijke aandacht. In mijn ruime huis en omheinde tuin kunnen honden vrij rennen, spelen en ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik twee aparte kamers ingericht: één voor honden met matten en speeltjes, en één voor katten met een speel- en klimhoek waar zij zich veilig kunnen terugtrekken. Meerdere keren per dag maken we fijne wandelingen en tussendoor zijn er voldoende rustmomenten, zodat dieren zich ontspannen en vertrouwd kunnen voelen.

Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Jonna (25) en Ana (24) en samen wonen we in Utrecht. We zijn allebei enorme hondenliefhebbers en hebben allebei van jongs af aan veel ervaring met honden. Jonna is opgegroeid met honden en heeft sinds haar achtste altijd een hond in huis gehad. Bij haar vader woonde tot een paar jaar geleden een lieve Toller, maar nu een energieke pup mix Toller/Australian Shepard. Daarnaast heeft zij ervaring met het helpen in dierenopvangcentra, waar onder andere honden uitlaten en dagelijkse verzorging bij hoorden. Ana heeft zes jaar lang een hond gehad bij haar ouders en heeft daar veel verantwoordelijkheid in gedragen. Samen vinden we het heerlijk om met honden bezig te zijn: wandelen, trainen, spelen en natuurlijk knuffelen horen daar allemaal bij. We letten goed op het karakter en de behoeften van elke hond en passen onze aanpak daarop aan, of het nu gaat om een actieve pup of een wat rustigere, oudere hond. We wonen in een appartement met balkon (geen tuin), maar maken dagelijks meerdere wandelingen en nemen daar uitgebreid de tijd voor. Bij ons krijgen honden veel aandacht, structuur en een veilige, huiselijke plek. We kijken ernaar uit om jouw hond bij ons te mogen ontvangen! Wij werken beiden full-time, maar Ana werkt onregelmatige uren in de zorg waardoor er vaak of bijna altijd iemand thuis is. Jonna werkt 2-3 dagen per week thuis.
