Over: My partner (Sam) and I (Isabella) love housesitting dogs and cats in our flat in the city centre of Utrecht. We regularly housesit a neighbours dog and through Rover have had the opportunity to take care of many other dogs! We are also happy to take care of cats - we housesit Momo, friends' cat regularly too 🌞 I am a researcher working from home with a flexible schedule, so I often take breaks throughout the day to go for a stroll in the neighbourhood. My partner works from home 3 days a week. This means we have quite an open and flexible schedule to take in pets! We also like to go for a long hike on Sundays. We live in a flat with an upstairs section, and a small terrace in the city centre of Utrecht. When our friend's cat comes to stay over, we put some of the houseplants away for safety. In any case, we do not open any windows or doors unless we are able to keep an active eye on the pet. We can discuss any accommodation needed (medication, length of walk, hazards, etc) with you when you contact us!

Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. Over: Vanaf jongs af aan heb ik al een grote liefde voor dieren, voornamelijk voor honden en katten. Deze liefde heb ik toegepast bij mijn baan als dierenartsassistente en bij mijn eigen dieren. Nu wil ik mijn passie voortzetten als hondenuitlaatservice. 
 Ik ben opgegroeid op een boerderij met allerlei verschillende dieren: schapen, geiten, varkens, kippen, ezels, pony's, konijnen, honden en katten. Inmiddels woon ik samen met mijn vriend, onze 2 katten (Lotje en Bobbie) en hond Noor. En naast het verzorgen van mijn eigen dieren, pas ik ook regelmatig op honden, katten, konijnen en paarden van anderen.
 Noor zal dan ook vaak mee gaan met de wandelingen. Het kan zijn dat ik wandelingen van honden combineer, de groepen zullen niet groter zijn dan 4 honden en vaak zelfs kleiner. Indien dit niet gewenst is kunnen de mogelijkheden besproken worden.
Ik kom uw hond ophalen en rij vervolgens naar een veilig uitlaatgebied waar ik 30 of 60 minuten met ze ga wandelen. Mijn werkgebied is alleen onder de Lek. Stuur mij een berichtje en dan kunnen we samen uw wensen bespreken. De verzorging van de dieren doe ik in overleg met de eigenaar. Wij bespreken de wensen en kijken wat de mogelijkheden zijn. Indien we hier uitkomen zal er een kennismaking plaatsvinden. Ik verzorg de dieren naar wens van de eigenaar. Dit is ook de reden dat ik graag vooraf de wensen bespreek om te kijken of dit passend is. De verzorging is altijd bij het baasje thuis en doe ik met veel liefde. Het dier krijgt bij een bezoek 30 minuten knuffels als ze daar behoefte aan hebben.

Over: I’ve always been around dogs and have had my own for as long as I can remember. Friends and family often trust me to look after their dogs, and many of them stay at my home. I’m comfortable with different breeds and personalities, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for I work from home with a flexible schedule and I make sure to walk the dogs at least three times every day. I also have a backyard where the dogs can play and run around freely. I have a garden at home where dogs can safely play and relax. I also live in a calm area with plenty of parks, perfect for walks. I have a very friendly dog who loves the company of other dogs, so your pet will always feel comfortable and welcome.

Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Jonna (25) en Ana (24) en samen wonen we in Utrecht. We zijn allebei enorme hondenliefhebbers en hebben allebei van jongs af aan veel ervaring met honden. Jonna is opgegroeid met honden en heeft sinds haar achtste altijd een hond in huis gehad. Bij haar vader woonde tot een paar jaar geleden een lieve Toller, maar nu een energieke pup mix Toller/Australian Shepard. Daarnaast heeft zij ervaring met het helpen in dierenopvangcentra, waar onder andere honden uitlaten en dagelijkse verzorging bij hoorden. Ana heeft zes jaar lang een hond gehad bij haar ouders en heeft daar veel verantwoordelijkheid in gedragen. Samen vinden we het heerlijk om met honden bezig te zijn: wandelen, trainen, spelen en natuurlijk knuffelen horen daar allemaal bij. We letten goed op het karakter en de behoeften van elke hond en passen onze aanpak daarop aan, of het nu gaat om een actieve pup of een wat rustigere, oudere hond. We wonen in een appartement met balkon (geen tuin), maar maken dagelijks meerdere wandelingen en nemen daar uitgebreid de tijd voor. Bij ons krijgen honden veel aandacht, structuur en een veilige, huiselijke plek. We kijken ernaar uit om jouw hond bij ons te mogen ontvangen! Wij werken beiden full-time, maar Ana werkt onregelmatige uren in de zorg waardoor er vaak of bijna altijd iemand thuis is. Jonna werkt 2-3 dagen per week thuis. Een lekkere ochtend wandeling, middag (mits iemand thuis is) en er lange middag I will respect any of the terms we will set together. As long as those terms are discussed, I think we should be fine! He’s quite a tough dog to handle with lots of precautions, but she was perfectly able to deal with him and fully respected all my rules with discipline. Over: Dieren hebben altijd een speciale plek in ons hart gehad. We hebben zelf twee honden gehad en ik heb daarnaast ervaring met de verzorging van verschillende kleine en middelgrote honden van diverse leeftijden, van speelse jonge honden tot rustige senioren. Momenteel hebben we een papegaai, maar we vinden het heerlijk om dieren om ons heen te hebben en verwelkomen daarom graag honden bij ons thuis. We beschikken over een tuin waar honden veilig kunnen genieten en ontspannen. Ik vang bij voorkeur één hond tegelijk op, of meerdere honden uit hetzelfde gezin. Zo kan ik iedere hond voldoende aandacht geven. Ik pas de verzorging volledig aan de wensen van de eigenaar en de behoeften van de hond aan, zoals wandelingen, speeltijd, rustmomenten, voeding en eventuele bijzonderheden. Mijn doel is dat elke hond zich bij ons veilig, ontspannen en helemaal thuis voelt. Momenteel ben ik thuis en heb ik veel tijd om voor uw hond te zorgen. Hierdoor krijgt uw hond gedurende de dag veel aandacht, gezelschap en de zorg die hij nodig heeft. De veiligheid en het welzijn van uw hond staan bij mij altijd voorop. Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving waarin iedere hond zich op zijn gemak kan voelen. Honden blijven nooit zonder toezicht in de tuin en ik houd rekening met hun karakter, gewoonten en eventuele bijzonderheden. Omdat ik slechts één hond tegelijk opvang (of meerdere honden uit hetzelfde gezin), kan ik veel persoonlijke aandacht geven en goed inspelen op hun behoeften. Ik behandel iedere hond met dezelfde zorg, liefde en verantwoordelijkheid als mijn eigen huisdier.

Over: Ik ben Kees, 27 jaar, en ik hou ervan om buiten actief bezig te zijn — het liefst samen met een hond. Naast mijn studie klinische psychologie (vanuit huis) werk ik graag met dieren, omdat ik interesse heb in gedrag en het leuk vind om honden goed aan te voelen en op hun gemak te stellen. Tijdens het uitlaten kijk ik naar wat een hond nodig heeft: een rustige wandeling, spelen of juist extra beweging. Ik wandel graag actief en ga consequent en duidelijk met honden om, zodat zij structuur ervaren en zich veilig voelen. Betrouwbaarheid en een fijne, veilige wandeling staan daarbij altijd voorop. Ik ben opgegroeid met blauwe keeshonden en heb daarnaast regelmatig opgepast op honden van vrienden en familie. Honden die bij mij verblijven hebben toegang tot een ruime, afgesloten tuin waar zij veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. Naast een ruime tuin ga ik graag wandelen in het bos waar ook een groot losloopgebied is. Ik maak graag kennis, zodat we kunnen kijken of het een goede match is voor jou en je hond. Op dit moment studeer ik grotendeels vanuit huis, waardoor ik het grootste deel van de dag thuis ben. Daardoor kan ik de hond veel aandacht, gezelschap en regelmatige wandelingen geven. Als ik even weg moet, is dat meestal maximaal twee uur. Waar mogelijk neem ik de hond ook graag mee, zodat hij of zij zo min mogelijk alleen hoeft te zijn. Ik woon in een appartement op de eerste verdieping (zonder lift) met een ruime, volledig afgesloten tuin. Thuis wonen ook twee rustige vrouwelijke keeshonden van 10 jaar oud. De tuin kan indien nodig worden opgedeeld, zodat honden hun eigen ruimte hebben en rustig aan elkaar kunnen wennen. In huis zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige omgeving en let ik goed op de behoeften en het ritme van de hond.

Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: My partner (Sam) and I (Isabella) love housesitting dogs and cats in our flat in the city centre of Utrecht. We regularly housesit a neighbours dog and through Rover have had the opportunity to take care of many other dogs! We are also happy to take care of cats - we housesit Momo, friends' cat regularly too 🌞 I am a researcher working from home with a flexible schedule, so I often take breaks throughout the day to go for a stroll in the neighbourhood. My partner works from home 3 days a week. This means we have quite an open and flexible schedule to take in pets! We also like to go for a long hike on Sundays. We live in a flat with an upstairs section, and a small terrace in the city centre of Utrecht. When our friend's cat comes to stay over, we put some of the houseplants away for safety. In any case, we do not open any windows or doors unless we are able to keep an active eye on the pet. We can discuss any accommodation needed (medication, length of walk, hazards, etc) with you when you contact us!
