It is important for me to know there routines and behaviour for the best care I can give. I have a Labrador that is 8 years’ old he is hyperactive and I have been able to understand dog behaviours and needs to keep them happy. I have walked pets earlier too of different age and sizes. I'm mostly available on the weekends and evenings with flexible timings. Timings can be spoken based on the need and some days, I can also make it in weekdays and work while taking care of your pet. I have an decent sized apartment and wouldn't mind the pet going around the house and use my furniture's to chill if they are used to doing that. I will do my best to make them feel like home when I have them over at mine.

There will always be 2 pairs of watchful eyes on your pet and we will never leave them unattended even if they are sleeping. We also love taking walks in nature, so we would be very happy to walk your dog and spend time with them outdoors. Our weekends are very flexible, so we are open to also watching your pets for a longer duration! We have a quiet apartment, with plenty of space for the pets to run around and play. As we regularly pet-sit, we always ensure that the pet has the water bowl filled, and a cozy corner with their toys and blanket. Over: I've taken care of cats for 11 years, and can care for senior/sick cats too! Having grown up with two cats at home, I am used to feeding, grooming, toilet-training, medication-giving, and other tasks catering cats from babies to elderlies. I have two cats back in my hometown, but in my current place of residence (where your cats will be hosted if you request boarding), there are no pets. So feel free to request boarding even if your pet is shy! I'm currently between jobs, so I am home almost fulltime other than a few hours out a day. Therefore I can pay full attention and love for your cats if necessary. If your pets need vitamins or medications, I am comfortable and experienced with mixing it into their food or feeding them directly. Door mijn eigen katten, mijn puppy en eerdere oppaservaring ben ik gewend aan dieren met verschillende karakters: verlegen, aanhankelijk, speels en soms wat angstig. Ik neem altijd de tijd om hun tempo te volgen en vertrouwen op te bouwen, zodat ze zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen.
Huisbezoeken
Een standaard huisbezoek duurt gemiddeld 20–40 minuten, afhankelijk van de wensen van jou en je huisdier. Bij meerdere dieren of extra taken stem ik dit graag met je af.
Huisoppas
Wanneer gewenst bied ik ook huisoppas aan. Dan verblijf ik langere tijd in jouw huis, zodat je huisdieren gezelschap hebben en er een vertrouwd iemand aanwezig is. Ik ga altijd zorgvuldig met je huis en spullen om en neem veiligheidsmaatregelen, zoals het controleren van deuren en ramen.

Charges will be communicated up front before confirming the booking. I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. On my working days, if I am looking after a dog, I like to bring them with me so that they can socialise with the pack. All transport is done using a fully converted, dog-friendly wagon with additional AC (and lots of cookies!). If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. On my days off, I am entirely flexible and work from home while finishing my Master's thesis, making my routine highly compatible with dedicated pet care. I live with my girlfriend in a large, multi-room apartment in the Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The location is convenient for dogs and humans alike, being just a short walk from several metro stations and with easy drop-off outside via street access.
