Wij wilden naar de crematie maar konden onze hond Dex niet in de Caravan achterlaten vanwege de hoge temperaturen. Via Rover zijn wij met Maria in contact gekomen en haar uitgekozen om een dag en nacht op Dex te passen. Maria is een superlieve vrouw en dierenvriend, het klikte tussen ons en Dex en wij konden hem met een zeer rustig gevoel bij haar achterlaten. Wij werden zeer goed geïnformeerd met korte filmpjes over het wel en wee van Dex en Maria. Maria hartelijk bedankt en wij wensen jou alle goeds, jij bent een echte Dierenvriendin‼️”

You can always discuss the time and date with me and it will be made sure of to find a solution that fits both of our schedules. I have a cat but he prefers to go outdoors or visit my other family near us. I have a small garden where it is always possible to play and we have a big house with 5 bedrooms so space is not a problem! Also can crate your pet if it is needed from the owner.

Over: Ik ben echt altijd al dol op dieren geweest. Bij mijn ouders heb ik altijd een kat gehad en nu ik op mezelf woon kwam er ook direct een kat in huis. Vroeger ging ik ook vaak honden uitlaten van familie/vrienden. Het liefst zou ik ook een hond willen, maar daar is op dit moment helaas geen tijd voor. Daarom lijkt mij dit een perfecte oplossing. I currently have a guinea pig; her old companion recently died (he was 7), so I'm looking for a companion for her. I work from home, and every day I go out to the park next to us to walk and get some fresh air, so it's not a problem to take your pet for a walk or two during the day. My work hours are flexible, so I can go and feed the cats. The size of the dogs is not important; I get along well with them, and they immediately feel my love and trust me. We have plenty of space in the house, with a comfortable sofa and soft blankets. I will be happy to take care of your dog and walk it. There are very nice parks in this area. I will also take care of cats, and I will be happy to be a sitter for a full day. If you go on vacation, you can safely trust me with your pets. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. Over: Ik heb eigenlijk altijd met dieren gewoont en er hart voor gehad, zelf heb ik bij een dierenhotel gewerkt met voornamelijk honden en beseft dat het veel leuker is om voor mezelf te werken zolang er maar honden om me heen zijn. Ook ben ik op mijn vorige werkplek getraint om met lastigere honden om te kunnen gaan wat ookal zeg ik het zelf best goed doe. Ik heb op het moment 1 hond waar ik structureel op pas en het liefst spendeer ik mijn vrije tijd ook met honden want ja als je doet waar je van houdt hoef je geen enkele dag te werken. “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”
Over: In my opinion, looking after dogs it's a great responsibility because who owner of a dog I know that it is very important for the family. About their care, dogs are all different, like people, and each one has their own way of communicating and feeling trustworthy. I like to respect the dog's time to feel comfortable with me to have a friendly relationship and make them feel safe. I have a flexible hours because I work by project, so if we arrange a day before, I can adapt my schedule. Also I don't have any problem to look after them a workable day as well as a weekend. First at all, I would ask the owner if the dog had special treatment for health or behavior. Second, I would ask what type of game it usually plays and I would adapt to its way of playing. Third, what are its times for eating or going for a walk.

“Lisa took care of our soon to be 6 months old puppy during roughly a week. Firstly, as we came back to pick Misha up, we could see that she was thriving and had been well taken care of. During our time away, Lisa gave us regular updates and took time to walk Misha several times a day and even went on long walks during the weekend. When in doubt, Lisa would always text us and ask for recommendation to make sure she took good care of Misha and we appreciated this a lot. We would trust Lisa with taking care of our puppy any time again in the future, she’s a true dog lover!!!”
