We kregen een blije Jack terug en dat vertelde ons alles. Ze heeft voor een fijne thuis van huis gezorgd, met de vele wandelingen. Ik woon samen met mijn partner in een appartement in het centrum van Purmerend. Tot voor kort deelden we onze woning met onze 2 Schipperkes. Ze zijn eerder dit jaar overleden op een respectabele leeftijd van 16 jaar.... We zouden graag weer hondjes nemen, alleen dan op de wat langere termijn. En ondertussen zou ik graag je hondje bijvoorbeeld tussen de middag kunnen uitlaten. Daarnaast zou ik bij mij thuis een aantal dagen op een kleinere hond kunnen passen. Ik zeg kleiner, omdat ik een relatief kleine woning heb zonder tuin. Maar er zijn zat groenvoorzieningen in de buurt om met je hondje te kunnen wandelen.

They kept us updated with photos, and we could see that Charlie felt really comfortable with them. Charlie is reactive toward intact male dogs which can sometimes worry us when he is with new sitters. However, Amanda and Marinna assured us that they are familiar with reactivity, and they indeed seemed to manage just fine. We welcome dogs into our home, and your dog can have a little playdate! I have experience with separation anxiety, and I will honor whatever care plan that you may have in place. I can administer medications and make sure your dog feels welcome and secure. I will provide as many updates you like on your pup because I know what it’s like to feel anxious about not being around them. My home is open to your fur baby! I am free most days and can walk your dog whatever their schedule is. I am very flexible with stays at my home or at yours any day of the week. In my home, I let them sniff the area first to get the lay of the land. This will give them space to get comfortable surroundings and understand that it is a safe space for them. Since my dog is also home with me, I prefer they meet in neutral territory for a meet & greet to ensure that it is a good match, however I’ve had other dogs come over without the need for one, and it has been okay. I just like to take the extra precaution to give both of us piece of mind. At the client’s home, I’ll follow yours and your dog’s routine. I’ll initially watch them closely to assess how they interact in their home. I do this for my own understanding so I can best read their needs.

Over: Hi! 😊 Honden zijn voor mij echt familie en ik vind het belangrijk dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Over: I have had 2 dogs growing up, of which one a Swiss white shepherd. I get along with dogs and wish I could have one myself but since I live alone it’s difficult for me to fully commit at this time - for the time being I would love to sit! I work from home most days, and am therefore free to take walk breaks. Besides my 9-5, I don’t have other big commitments. I live in a spacious enough studio, but I have enough space outside to go for walks. Also a park relatively close if you we feel comfortable going there.
Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Overall I love pets and connect with them quite easily Im a student and work part time during weekends, so that leave most of my week free as I go to 1-3 lectures of 2h during the week. Ik zorg ervoor dat ze voldoende beweging, aandacht en verzorging krijgen, zodat ze zich veilig en gelukkig voelen terwijl hun baasje weg is. Ik werk vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel tijd heb om aandacht te geven aan de dieren die ik verzorg. Daarnaast maak ik dagelijks wandelingen, dus honden die graag naar buiten gaan krijgen voldoende beweging en gezelschap. Ik bied zowel oppas aan bij mij thuis als bezoeken aan huis, afhankelijk van de behoeften van jouw huisdier. Bij opvang thuis krijgen dieren veel aandacht, gezelschap en een rustige, veilige omgeving. Bij verzorging aan huis zorg ik voor voeding, vers water, speeltijd, knuffels, kattenbakreiniging en indien gewenst een wandeling. Ik behandel elk huisdier met dezelfde liefde en zorg als mijn eigen dieren.

Iedere dag een aantal filmpjes en foto s Communicatie en kort lijntje was duidelijk en hartelijk. Kon aan Jack zien dat hij het erg fijn bij haar had. Ze heeft hem niet alleen gelaten, wat Jack heel erg nodig had, zeker omdat het ook zijn eerste keer was Hij heeft even aanpassing nodig gehad en daar heeft ze hem ook alle ruimte voor gegeven. We kregen een blije Jack terug en dat vertelde ons alles. Ze heeft voor een fijne thuis van huis gezorgd, met de vele wandelingen. She agreed to watch my dog less than 12 hours in advance, and then agreed to meet me at the train station instead of me dropping off the dog at her place, which shows how kind and thoughtful and helpful she is!!! The weekend that my dog spent at her place was amazing too. I got updates 5+ times per week, with pictures of my dog, my dog was walked for multiple hours a day, she was allowed everywhere in the house; and Lada was veryyyy attentive to her needs and always checked in with me on what she could do extra. She even invited me for tea after the dog stay. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more, i’d trust her to watch my dog anytime!”
Over: Ik zorg al 25 jaar voor verschillende honden en laat ze uit. Ik heb zelf een lieve schat van 10 jaar oud, zeer fit en actief! Ik ben elke dag beschikbaar om op uw lieve hond te passen en uit te laten. Zowel bij mij thuis of bij u. In bezit van een auto dus wandelingen in het bos of strand ook mogelijk! Ik woon klein, in een heel knus appartement in Amsterdam oud West. Zelf heb ik een hond van 10 jaar oud, nog heel fit en actief en vindt honden vriendjes fantastisch!

“Amanda and her partner Marinna are fantastic. They took such great care of Charlie while we were away for 5 nights. They kept us updated with photos, and we could see that Charlie felt really comfortable with them. Charlie is reactive toward intact male dogs which can sometimes worry us when he is with new sitters. However, Amanda and Marinna assured us that they are familiar with reactivity, and they indeed seemed to manage just fine. Naast 3dagen op de dierenarts praktijk werken (operaties assisteren, spoed, anesthesie, spreekuur tot baliewerkzaamheden, diabetes/gewichts en bloeddrukconsulente) Kom ik ook in mijn vrije tijd thuis in de vertrouwde omgeving van het dier om u te helpen (denk aan huisbezoeken met verzorging voeren verschonen, nagels knippen, medicijnen geven, anaalklieren legen) Ook doe ik met veel plezier honden uitlaten als ik vrij ben (individueel of groeps) en honden oppassen bij mij thuis als ik vrij ben en of vakantie heb (Dag en vakantie opvang) Hond oppas en opvang in warme huiselijke sfeer vanaf 30 euro pd. Officiele feest en schoolvakantie dagen komt er een toeslag bij van 5 euro per dag. Max 1 hond per keer neem ik aan. Of 2 uit 1 gezin Eisen sociaal zindelijk, alleen klein tot medium hondjes! Liefst teefjes of alleen gecastreerde reutjes 2x per jaar mogenlijk als mijne loops zijn. Altijd vrijblijvend een kennismaking vooraf. Let op ik ben geen dierenarts en geef geen consulten , help alleen met handelingen die u als eigenaar ook mag doen. De eigenaar moet het dier zelf goed vast houden maar nemen alle tijd om het zo een prettig mogelijke ervaring te maken.
Over: I’ve had a dog since I was 10, so I grew up learning how to train and care for one properly, not just from a course. Here in Amsterdam I look after dogs regularly and can put you in touch with past clients for a reference. I want to make sure your dog feels at home as possible with me! I’m a student and work part-time, so I have real flexibility during the week, not just evenings and weekends. That means I can adjust to your dog’s routine rather than squeezing care in around a rigid schedule, whether that’s a midday walk, extra playtime, or just more one-on-one attention. I keep my calendar updated so you can see exactly when I’m free to book! I’ve spent years learning to read what dogs need, when they want more attention and when they’d rather be left to settle. My home is dog-proofed, with nothing lying around they could get into or accidentally swallow. I live right next to several parks, so there’s always somewhere close for walks and playtime without needing a car. I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the stay so you always know how your dog is doing.

“Over the Christmas and new year period we left our Beagle Betsy with Mathilda. This was our first time making use of Mathilda for petsitting and Wow!!! Betsy definitely landed at one of the best sitters ever! Mathilda regularly updated us on Betsy’s wellbeing, send photos and boy oh boy was Betsy spoilt! Betsy went for regular walks, got loads of attention and love. Mathilda is not only a petsitter. She connects very deeply to any animal in her care.
