Wij wilden naar de crematie maar konden onze hond Dex niet in de Caravan achterlaten vanwege de hoge temperaturen. Via Rover zijn wij met Maria in contact gekomen en haar uitgekozen om een dag en nacht op Dex te passen. Maria is een superlieve vrouw en dierenvriend, het klikte tussen ons en Dex en wij konden hem met een zeer rustig gevoel bij haar achterlaten. Wij werden zeer goed geïnformeerd met korte filmpjes over het wel en wee van Dex en Maria. Maria hartelijk bedankt en wij wensen jou alle goeds, jij bent een echte Dierenvriendin‼️”

I have a cat but he prefers to go outdoors or visit my other family near us. Over: Ik heb zelf 12 jaar lang een hond gehad die ik met veel liefde heb mogen verzorgen en een super gelukkig hondje was. Vanaf mijn 6e tot 18 jaar was onze hond bij ons. Kort geleden hebben we afscheid moeten nemen van onze lieve hond. We hebben veel ervaring met honden en verzorgen ze met alle liefde. Momenteel heb ik vakantie en ben ik beschikbaar om in de vakantieperiodes op honden te passen. Ik ben de hele dag (niet elke dag) beschikbaar. Ik heb een grote tuin waar de honden lekker kunnen rennen en spelen. Het is een fijne en rustige omgeving. Binnen hebben ze ook alle ruimte om te kunnen spelen. We hebben helaas geen hondje meer, maar wel nog een hamster waar de honden natuurlijk niet bij kunnen komen.
“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! She agreed to watch my dog less than 12 hours in advance, and then agreed to meet me at the train station instead of me dropping off the dog at her place, which shows how kind and thoughtful and helpful she is!!! The weekend that my dog spent at her place was amazing too. I got updates 5+ times per week, with pictures of my dog, my dog was walked for multiple hours a day, she was allowed everywhere in the house; and Lada was veryyyy attentive to her needs and always checked in with me on what she could do extra. I love them very much, especially dogs, cats, and horses. I wanted to be a veterinarian for a long time, but I wasn't a good enough student. I currently have a guinea pig; her old companion recently died (he was 7), so I'm looking for a companion for her. I work from home, and every day I go out to the park next to us to walk and get some fresh air, so it's not a problem to take your pet for a walk or two during the day. My work hours are flexible, so I can go and feed the cats. The size of the dogs is not important; I get along well with them, and they immediately feel my love and trust me. We have plenty of space in the house, with a comfortable sofa and soft blankets. I will be happy to take care of your dog and walk it. There are very nice parks in this area. I will also take care of cats, and I will be happy to be a sitter for a full day. If you go on vacation, you can safely trust me with your pets. Over: Hi! 😊 Honden zijn voor mij echt familie en ik vind het belangrijk dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. We wonen in Amsterdam, maar maken graag lange wandelingen in het Vondelpark of rijden naar een mooi natuurgebied voor extra avontuur. Bij ons krijgt jouw hond veel liefde, aandacht en beweging. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, ben ik veel thuis en kan ik mijn dag volledig afstemmen op de behoeften van jouw hond. Dat betekent alle tijd voor wandelingen, spelen, knuffelen en de verzorging die jouw hond gewend is. Mijn vriend werkt fulltime, maar is ’s avonds en in het weekend ook graag betrokken. Samen zorgen we voor een rustige, liefdevolle en betrouwbare omgeving waarin jouw hond zich snel thuis zal voelen. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houd ik zoveel mogelijk de dagelijkse routine aan die hij of zij gewend is, zoals vaste wandelmomenten, etenstijden en eventuele medicatie. Er is volop tijd voor aandacht, spelen, rust en knuffels. Ik stem de verzorging altijd af op de wensen van het baasje, zodat jouw hond de zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient.

I have a spacious fenced garden at home where they can roam freely, and I can take them out more regularly. The care in each home would be very different, as I would tailor specific outings based on the service each person desires.
Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

“Lada is the best dog sitter in Amsterdam! She agreed to watch my dog less than 12 hours in advance, and then agreed to meet me at the train station instead of me dropping off the dog at her place, which shows how kind and thoughtful and helpful she is!!! The weekend that my dog spent at her place was amazing too. I got updates 5+ times per week, with pictures of my dog, my dog was walked for multiple hours a day, she was allowed everywhere in the house; and Lada was veryyyy attentive to her needs and always checked in with me on what she could do extra. She even invited me for tea after the dog stay. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more, i’d trust her to watch my dog anytime!”

Over: I’m a highly experienced dog owner with 9 years of hands-on care, having raised my dog from puppy to adulthood. I understand energetic, intelligent dogs well and provide consistent, attentive care. I work from home, so dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and interaction throughout the day. We live in a house with a garden, offering space to play and relax safely. My household includes two children on a part-time basis, both familiar and comfortable with dogs, creating a calm and social environment for any visiting pet. I'm working from home and can take care of your pet based on it's needs. I'm walking my dog twice a day for roughly 1 - 1,5 hours but I'm very flexible when it comes to my work schedule and walking times. I have a fenced yard and live in a house. My dog Milo is very friendly and gets along with almost all dogs. There are nice parks nearby to provide long walks (Burgermeester park, Jagersveld, Twiske). I am comfortable to give medicine to your dog. I consider myself a very experienced dog owner.
