Over: Wij zijn een warm gezin met twee jonge kinderen van 7 en 5 jaar en een enorme liefde voor honden. Zelf hebben wij jarenlang honden gehad, waardoor we veel ervaring hebben. Vanwege ons werk kiezen we er bewust voor om op de dagen dat we echt tijd hebben een gezellige oppashond in huis te nemen. Wij zijn beschikbaar op woensdag, vrijdag en af en toe in het weekend. Bij ons krijgt uw hond volop aandacht. Veel knuffels en speelmomenten met de kinderen. Lekkere wandelingen. Een liefdevolle huiselijke omgeving. Dit natuurlijk waarbij wij rekening houden met de behoefte van uw hond en de regels en routines welke hij/zij gewent is. Wij wonen op de eerste etage, daarom zoeken wij bij voorkeur een hond die we (volwassenen) de trap op kunnen tillen wanneer dat nodig is. Zoekt u een betrouwbaar en liefdevol adresje waar uw hond zich welkom voelt? Dan maken wij graag kennis! Wij kijken uit naar een leuke match en hopen dat dit een oppashondje wordt die we met regelmaat zien. Uw hond kan bij ons zijn van woensdagochtend vanaf 07.30 uur tot woensdagavond 21.00 uur zijn. vrijdagochtend vanaf 07.30 uur Of donderdag vanaf 17.30 uur tot vrijdagavond in overleg (afhankelijk van de plannen) Of aansluitend het weekend. In overleg en tegen betaling kan ik de hond ook halen / brengen. Wij ontvangen uw hond graag bij ons thuis, waarbij hij/zij onderdeel van het gezin zal zijn. Wij vinden het heerlijk om te kroelen of te spelen en wij zijn graag buiten met de hond, maar er zijn ook voldoende momenten van rusten. Naast dat wij binnen een zee aan ruimte hebben, hebben we ook beperkte buiten ruimte.

I have two dogs so taking care of pets is just part of my everyday life. I feed them, take them for walks, play with them and make sure they always have fresh water. They are very friendly with other dogs so they can keep each other company, also my apartment is large so there is space for them to be on their own too.

Op dit moment heb ik drie katten en een vogel, maar vroeger ook cavia’s en konijnen gehad. Honden heb ik nu zelf niet, maar in de toekomst zou ik graag wel een hond willen. Ik heb daarentegen wel ervaring met het uitlaten en spelen met honden, omdat vrienden en familie wel honden hebben. Of het nu gaat om katten knuffelen, een vogel verzorgen of met een hond wandelen, ik doe het allemaal graag met plezier en liefde. Uw huisdier is in goede handen bij mij. Ik heb op dit moment werk, maar ik ben erg goed in plannen! Samen kunnen we vast een geschikt moment vinden voor één van mijn aangeboden services. Ik heb zelf 3 katten en een vogel. Ik heb geen hond, maar ik heb wel ervaring met het uitlaten en spelen met honden. Ik ben erg zorgzaam en kan goed opletten.

Over: Mijn ouders hebben altijd katten gehad. Daarnaast liet ik als jong meisje, vaak de honden in de buurt uit. Op latere leeftijd werden dat vaste adressen waarbij ik de huissleutel kreeg. Tijdens covid heb ik gewerkt als hondenuitlater. Mijn vriend en ik zouden graag een huisdier nemen, maar houden ook nog te veel van reizen. Daarom zouden we het heel leuk vinden om een dag/periode op jullie dier te passen. Ik werk op freelance basis en ben daarom erg flexibel in het indelen van mijn eigen tijd. Daarnaast kan ik veel werk, gewoon thuis doen. Wel zo gezellig. We wonen in een appartement met een balkon. Je bent vanaf hier, zo in het Rembrandtpark of het Vondelpark voor een goede wandeling. Ik hou van buiten zijn, loop zelf geregeld een rondje en hou van spelen en knuffelen met de dieren.

Over: Ik heb als kind zelf altijd honden gehad en ze ook altijd uitgelaten en veel met ze geknuffeld en gespeeld. Zelf hebben wij een chihuahua gehad die hebben we helaas moeten laten inslapen. Maar de liefde voor honden is er nog steeds mijn kindjes zijn ook gek op dieren. Ik werk in de zorg als zzp’er maar werk nooit hele lange uren achter elkaar kom tussen door altijd naar huis. Daarom hoeft de hond nooit langer dan 4 uurtjes alleen te zijn. Zij is erg snel bang dus ik weet als geen ander hoe je hiermee moet omgaan. Ik heb ook een tijdje op een cockapoo gepast. Hij is het tegenovergestelde van mijn hondje, druk en nergens bang voor. Hierdoor weet ik ook hoe ik de hond rustig kan krijgen. Het eventueel aanleren van trucjes vind ik heel erg leuk. Ik geef niet snel op! Momenteel heb ik geen vaste baan, dus ik ben heel flexibel! Ik ben een vroege vogel en ik ga er graag op uit. Ik heb nog geen rijbewijs, dus wandelingen in de buurt voor nu! Ivm de ruimte, bied ik nog geen service aan bij mij thuis tot ik een nieuwe woning heb. Ik zorg voor genoeg speel tijd en knuffels.

Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. If a dog needs to be left alone or doesn't get along with other dogs, this can also be easily accommodated during the day in a safe, penned-off area at the facility. Over: Hi, I’m Julia! I’m 27 years old, born and raised on a Swedish farm and now studying a Masters in Communication Science at UvA. I’m fluent in English, Dutch and Swedish (I can teach your dog some ;) ) Ever since I can remember I’ve been a big fan of dogs. I’ve had dogs around me my whole life, I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and have in my later teens helped raised two Kangals. I have a lot of understanding and respect for dogs, both big and small. Lately I’m sitting my brothers Cane Corso Enzo, he is a puppy who needs a lot of training, and I’m up for the challenge! Apart from my experience and love for animals, I am an active person who walks a lot, I love being in nature and I would say I have a lot of patience. Whether it’s an older dog who needs a slower pace, or an active dog who needs a long power walk, I’m up for it! Since I am a student at the UvA, some mornings and afternoons are blocked out, but also some days are totally free for me. I’ll be honest and say that my schedule might change every 2 months with new courses, but mostly I am busy 3 days of the week. Still, everyday I stay active by going on a walk in Amsterdamse bos, going to the gym or biking. I love to cook and to relax with my boyfriend at home (he is also crazy about dogs!) I live in an apartment of roughly 95 m2, with a big living room and a large balcony (with a serious fence). We keep it clean with fresh air flowing. We live 3 minutes walking from the Amsterdamse Bos, it’s a national treasure and a dog heaven! My boyfriend and I live together have the same philosophy: nobody has died from a dog on the couch. But the of course, if your dog is not used to being on furniture, we will respect his/her boundaries ;) I will be as strict or relaxed as the dog needs me to be, I am a flexible dog sitter.

Over: Honden zijn altijd een groot onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb al sinds mijn tweede levensjaar altijd één of meerdere honden thuis gehad. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende rassen, karakters en leeftijden en weet ik hoe belangrijk rust, structuur en aandacht zijn. Door mijn drukke werk en mijn regelmatige reizen vind ik het op dit moment niet eerlijk om zelf fulltime een hond te hebben. Toch mis ik de gezelligheid en liefde die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom is Rover voor mij de perfecte oplossing: ik kan honden een fijne, veilige en liefdevolle plek bieden, terwijl baasjes met een gerust hart weg kunnen. Ik behandel elke hond alsof het mijn eigen hond is. Betrouwbaarheid, goede communicatie en het welzijn van de hond staan voor mij altijd op de eerste plaats. Ik werk flexibel waardoor ik mijn planning goed kan afstemmen. Ik ben beschikbaar op zowel doordeweekse dagen als in het weekend en denk graag mee als er last-minute opvang nodig is. ik ben opgegroeid met honden, waardoor de verzorging voor mij heel natuurlijk voelt. Jouw hond verblijft in een ruim appartement van ongeveer 120 m² met voldoende ruimte om te ontspannen. Ik woon op loopafstand van zowel het Erasmuspark als het Rembrandtpark, waardoor we meerdere keren per dag fijne wandelingen kunnen maken in een groene omgeving. Of je hond nu graag actief is of juist behoefte heeft aan rust, ik zorg ervoor dat hij of zij zich veilig, ontspannen en thuis voelt.

“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Over: Mijn vriend is opgegroeid met een hond en heeft dus veel ervaring met hondengedrag. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met heel veel huisdieren én liet ik vroeger altijd alle honden uit de straat uit! We zijn allebei échte dierenliefhebbers. We houden allebei enorm van wandelen in het bos, dus we zijn altijd wel in voor een goede wandeling met jouw hond! En omdat we met z'n tweeën zijn, krijgt je hond bij ons sowieso alle aandacht en knuffels die hij verdient. Hoewel we allebei fulltime werken, werken we 2 tot 3 dagen per week vanuit huis. Hierdoor hebben we superveel flexibiliteit om onze dag helemaal om jouw hond heen te plannen! Mocht het een keer nodig zijn, dan mag de hond zelfs met ons mee naar kantoor. We zijn allebei erg actief en wonen direct aan het park. Tussen het werken door kunnen we dus heel gemakkelijk even naar buiten voor een heerlijke, actieve wandeling! We wonen direct aan het park, dus we stappen zo het groen in zonder langs drukke wegen te hoeven lopen. Tijdens het wandelen houden we honden voor de veiligheid altijd netjes aan de lijn. Om je een gerust gevoel te geven, sturen we gedurende de dag gezellig foto's en updates. Ook plannen we vooraf altijd een vrijblijvende Meet & Greet. Zo kunnen we rustig bespreken wat jouw hond gewend is qua ritme en regels, en stemmen we alles perfect af!

Over: Honden maken me oprecht blij. Hun energie, hun eerlijkheid en het contact dat je zonder woorden kunt hebben daar geniet ik echt van. En eerlijk is eerlijk: van een kwispelende staart word ik gewoon blij. Wat begon als iets wat ik gewoon heel leuk vond, wil ik nu graag verder uitbouwen. Het voelt voor mij als een hobby die ik met liefde heb omgezet naar werk. Voor mij voelt het dan ook niet als “werk”, maar als gezelschap waar je aandacht aan geeft. Ik kies bewust voor 1-op-1 zorg, omdat ik merk dat rust en aandacht zoveel verschil maken. Geen groepswandelingen of haast, maar echt afstemmen op wat een hond nodig heeft. Ik heb inmiddels ervaring met veel verschillende honden. Ik vind een wederzijdse vertrouwensband opbouwen heel belangrijk! Een hond moet zich veilig voelen. Daarom neem ik de tijd om elkaar rustig te leren kennen en kijk ik goed naar lichaamstaal, energie en tempo. Elke hond is anders en dat vind ik juist mooi. De zorg voor honden plan ik bewust in mijn week in. Het is niet iets wat ik er even tussendoor doe, maar iets waar ik echt ruimte voor maak. Het zorgen voor honden is inmiddels een vast onderdeel van mijn werkweek geworden. Doordat ik mijn eigen planning indeel, kan ik zorgen voor rust, aandacht en een ontspannen ritme. Geen volle agenda’s of haast, maar tijd om echt af te stemmen. Voor de honden-uitlaatservice ben ik beschikbaar ik in de omgeving van het Erasmuspark, Westerpark, de Jordaan en de Houthavens fijne plekken waar beweging, veiligheid en veel honden samenkomen 😉 Daarnaast bied ik ook overnachtingen aan, zowel doordeweeks als in het weekend. Honden verblijven dan in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving. Ik vang nooit meer dan twee honden tegelijk op, zodat de aandacht persoonlijk en ontspannen blijft.
