I live in Eindhoven city center and truly enjoy having animals around me. I grew up in Spain with dogs; my Labrador Polo completely stole my heart 🤎 and since living away from them, caring for other people’s pets has become something I really value.

I’ve now looked after dogs with very different personalities, and I always adapt to what they need — whether that’s lots of playtime, a calm environment, or just someone nearby. My goal is that they feel comfortable and at home, not stressed or out of place.

All the pets I’ve cared for (and their owners!) have been really happy with my care, which honestly means a lot to me. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always keep you updated with messages, photos, and quick replies.

I have a flexible job, so I can work from home and be with your pet most (or all) of the time, or drop by during the day for walks and visits. I live in a spacious 70m² apartment with a secure terrace, and pets can relax wherever they feel most at home. Also, I live within walking distance (15mins) of a fenced dog park, and going is always an option!

We will go out as much as they need, and in the neighborhood there are 2 dog parks, in a 10-15 min walking range, where we can also go to have some fun times, if this is what your dog needs. But if what your dog needs is peace and cuddles, I am also a master in that! Some times, if I already know the dogs, and the owners accept, I host more than one dog at the same time.

Over: Ik heb jarenlang met veel plezier op verschillende honden gepast. Sommige kwamen bij mij logeren, anderen liet ik regelmatig uit. Elke hond is anders, en ik vind het belangrijk om goed te kijken naar wat een hond nodig heeft of dat nu veel beweging is, rust en regelmaat, of gewoon wat extra knuffels. Ik neem de tijd om een band op te bouwen met elke hond en zorg ervoor dat hij of zij zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Bij mij krijgt je hond geen standaard oppasdienst, maar een warm welkom en de zorg alsof het mijn eigen dier is. Ik werk drie dagen per week (dinsdag, woensdag en donderdag) vanuit huis als zelfstandig ondernemer. Daardoor kan ik mijn tijd flexibel indelen en is het goed te combineren met de zorg voor een huisdier met voldoende tijd voor wandelingen, plaspauzes en aandacht. Op maandag en vrijdag ben ik ook thuis met mijn dochter van 4 jaar (een vrolijk, nieuwsgierig meisje) en een dochter van 1. Het is daarom wel belangrijk dat het huisdier goed met kinderen overweg kan. Op vrijdag en in het weekend is mijn man ook thuis en zijn we meestal vrij, dus dan is er volop tijd en aandacht voor een logeerhond. Kortom: een warm gezin en een flexibel ritme waarin jouw hond zich veilig en welkom zal voelen. Wanneer een hond bij mij komt logeren, zorg ik voor een rustige, huiselijke omgeving waarin hij zich snel op zijn gemak voelt. We hebben een omheinde tuin waar veilig gespeeld en ontspannen kan worden, en ik ben altijd in de buurt voor toezicht en gezelschap. Omdat elke hond andere gewoontes en behoeften heeft, vind ik het belangrijk dat het baasje een eigen bench meebrengt als de hond daar aan gewend is zo blijft de routine vertrouwd en voelt de hond zich sneller thuis. Ik zorg voor voldoende beweging, aandacht en knuffels, afgestemd op het karakter en de energie van jouw hond. Veiligheid, liefdevolle zorg en een vertrouwd gevoel staan bij mij voorop.

Over: Hi! I’m Joana, and I work as mechanical engineer living in Eindhoven. While my professional background is in engineering, animals have always been my true passion. Since childhood I always loved animals, and grew up with both dogs and cats. However, my first pet was a free-roaming rabbit named Maria who slept in my room and acted more like a dog than a bunny. I grew up in Portugal, where I became deeply involved in animal rescue in my hometown, where unfortunately there are a lot of stray animals. I fostered my first cat at 15 (it took a lot of convincing my parents!), and since then, I’ve cared for over 30 foster cats, many of them neonates or sick rescues, including pregnant cats that I've assisted during birth. Because of all of this, I am well versed in dealing with most cat illnesses, and I have a special needs cat myself :) I also worked closely with the local shelter in Portugal, supporting TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs, walking shelter dogs, and socializing shy or traumatized animals. Unfortnately, after moving to the Netherlands, I couldn't foster anymore, since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow that, but I do have 3 furr babies that I love more than words can express. However, I still volunteer at the shelter (ROZE) every Sunday where I clean the cat spaces, check health, and help socialize “spicy” cats and kittens. I know from experience how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while you're on holidays and how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy sitter for your pet. Dogs Experience I’ve always enjoyed spending time with dogs through family and friends, and over the past year I’ve gained hands on experience walking shelter dogs of different sizes, personalities, and training levels. I believe both the dog and I should feel safe and relaxed together, and I’m honest when a dog needs more experience than I can offer (I then opt to learn and watch from more experienced volunteers) . I use positive reinforcement and have completed the shelter’s mandatory clicker training course, which allows me to walk yellow coded dogs and some orange coded dogs when we’re a good match (green = easy behavior, yellow = trained but not always responsive, orange = needs active training and guidance). What I offer • Walks for small to medium dogs, or larger well trained • A free meet and walk beforehand to ensure everyone feels comfortable • Feeding and fresh water • 1–2 walks per day (up to an hour each) • Playtime, enrichment, and company (time spent with them can be planned beforehand to match the needs of the dog and my availability) • Photo/video updates after every visit If you feel I could be a good match for your pet, I’d be happy to meet you and see how your cat or dog responds to me. Besides my set days at the animal shelter (Monday + Thursday), I am very flexible in terms of time. I prefer Fridays and weekends, and am happy to come around during a time range of 11AM onwards till 6PM, as I also need to take care of my own cat at night time and in the morning. I live with grandfather so I am not able to host your pets in my own home, but I am happy to take care of your pet in your own home. I prefer not to do overnight care but am happy to also perform small tasks in the house while caring for your pet (like taking out the green container for example or things like that)

Ik bied betrouwbare en professionele zorg, met dagelijkse wandelingen, speeltijd en verzorging op maat. Medicatie toedienen is voor mij geen probleem en gebeurt altijd zorgvuldig. Elk dier krijgt bij mij dezelfde warmte en liefde alsof het mijn eigen huisdier is. Beschikbaar voor oppas aan huis en wandelservices. Jonge speelvogel of oude charme in huis? Onze puppytraining richt zich op positieve begeleiding: basiscommando’s, socialisatie, zindelijkheid, wandeloefeningen en het ontwikkelen van een sterke band tussen mens en hond. Dit alles gebeurt in een rustige, vriendelijke sfeer die perfect aansluit bij het tempo van het baasje. Daarnaast bieden wij extra ondersteuning voor senioren, zoals hulp bij tillen, voedertips, advies over veilig wandelen, en persoonlijke begeleiding bij het oefenen van technieken thuis. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat senioren met vertrouwen en plezier bij hun baasjes kunnen blijven, zonder zich overbelast te voelen. Voor een klein extraatje is het wassen van je hond ook mogelijk, vraag er gerust naar! Als ervaren dierenoppas ziet mijn werkdag er elke dag anders uit. Ik neem graag voor ieder dier voldoende tijd en zorg. Neem dus contact met mij op om dagen en uren te bespreken. Als ervaren dierenoppas vind ik het belangrijk dat jouw dier de gepaste verzorging krijgt die nodig is voor een blij en gezond dier. Hier maak ik graag voldoende tijd voor. Omdat veiligheid hoog in mijn vaandel staat worden wandelingen altijd aan de leiband gedaan.

“Fijn contact! Onze Lemmy is een hond met gebruiksaanwijzing (ontsnapt soms, gaat niet altijd goed met andere reutjes, katten, konijnen) maar het is goed gegaan, ook met andere hondjes. Volgende week vrijdag gaat ie weer naar dit adres.”

Over: Hi! 😊 I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else — so my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while you’re away. 

I live in Eindhoven city center and truly enjoy having animals around me. I grew up in Spain with dogs; my Labrador Polo completely stole my heart 🤎 and since living away from them, caring for other people’s pets has become something I really value.

I’ve now looked after dogs with very different personalities, and I always adapt to what they need — whether that’s lots of playtime, a calm environment, or just someone nearby. My goal is that they feel comfortable and at home, not stressed or out of place.

All the pets I’ve cared for (and their owners!) have been really happy with my care, which honestly means a lot to me. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always keep you updated with messages, photos, and quick replies.

I have a flexible job, so I can work from home and be with your pet most (or all) of the time, or drop by during the day for walks and visits. I live in a spacious 70m² apartment with a secure terrace, and pets can relax wherever they feel most at home. Also, I live within walking distance (15mins) of a fenced dog park, and going is always an option!

This means that I am ready to take day cares, where I spend all day with them, but also able to come back and forth in case your pet has special needs or a routine. I will always invite you over, so we and your pet, can get acquainted and so that I stop being a stranger. My flat is nice and spacious, I have hosted big dogs with a lot of energy, several times. We will go out as much as they need, and in the neighborhood there are 2 dog parks, in a 10-15 min walking range, where we can also go to have some fun times, if this is what your dog needs. But if what your dog needs is peace and cuddles, I am also a master in that! Some times, if I already know the dogs, and the owners accept, I host more than one dog at the same time.

Over: Voor ik op mezelf woonde liet ik naast school altijd de familie hond uit en leerde haar kleine trucjes in de vakanties. Borstelen van mijn oma's hond vond ik vroeger ook erg leuk om te doen naast het wandelen. Ik ben drie dagen per week enkele uurtjes van huis, de rest van de dag ben ik beschikbaar om naast mijn thuiswerk voor een hond te zorgen. Ik wandel zeer graag dus uw hond meenemen maakt het alleen maar een mooiere wandeling. Ik woon in een appartement in de vorm van een huis. Ik woon op de 1e en 2e verdieping van het huis met een trap aan de zijkant. Ik heb een balkonnetje, maar geen tuin. Ik woon alleen en heb geen huisdieren, het is rustig in huis. Ik kan met de hond spelen, maar hem of haar ook lekker met rust laten. Daarnaast zal ik de hond meerdere keren per dag kunnen meenemen voor wandelingen in een groene omgeving.

Over: I have taken care of dogs since I can remember. Friends, family and neighbours have relied on me to take care of their pets. Have owned 6 dogs and 2 cats. My Chihuahua Gabu was with me for 16 great years of my life. I miss being with pets, as I have been used to spend time with them all my life. I am excited to get to know your pets and have a great time together, hopefully make a bond and keep seeing them! I am currently awaiting for the next academic year to join Tue university, therefore i have a lot of free time to be with your pet! I have no pets at home for the moment, but I will make sure that your pet never feels alone and like at home! At your house, I will follow how you take care of your pet and will give them company.

“Voor ons lieve kleine hondje waren we opzoek naar een oppas met overnachting. We zijn een paar weken eerder kennis wezen maken, dit voelde direct goed. Heel fijn om je hondje in goeie handen achter te kunnen laten. Contact is goed, en ze stuurt leuke updates met fotos en filmpjes. Bij het ophalen konden we gelijk merken aan ons hondje dat hij het goed heeft gehad.”
