Over: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood – for 14 years I had my own loyal companion by my side. Today I am actively involved in dog rescue and have looked after many dogs of all different breeds and age groups. My most defining experience: I spent six months living in Greece, where I rescued street dogs, nursed them back to health at home and provided medical care – while at the same time managing a shelter with 120 dogs. From newborns and puppies to elderly, sick or traumatised animals, I have experienced and cared for dogs at every stage of life. With me, dogs are in loving, experienced hands – I treat them like my own. Having just moved to the Netherlands and not yet having a fixed job, I am very flexible with my time – especially during the week I am available almost anytime. Ik bespreek graag privé welke dag mogelijk is en welke niet. Wij hebben voornamelijk meer tijd in het weekend dan doordeweeks, maar alles gaat altijd in overleg! Wanneer een hond bij ons thuis verblijft, zorgen wij voor een rustige, veilige en liefdevolle omgeving. We houden ons zoveel mogelijk aan het vertrouwde ritme van thuis, zoals vaste wandeltijden, voedingstijden en eventuele specifieke instructies van het baasje. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat jouw hond zich snel op zijn gemak voelt. We maken dagelijks meerdere wandelingen, afgestemd op de energie en behoeften van de hond. Daarnaast is er volop aandacht voor spelen, ontspanning en knuffelmomenten. Omdat wij zelf geen hond hebben, krijgt jouw viervoeter bij ons alle aandacht. We vinden het belangrijk om goed contact te houden met het baasje en sturen graag updates en foto’s tijdens het verblijf. We hebben een omheinde tuin, maar geen grote. Er is ruimte om hierin te spelen maar nemen je hond liever mee naar bijvoorbeeld het bos.

Over: Sinds mijn 15e heb ik een eigen kat gehad die een liefdevol en vrij leven heeft gehad. Over: Hallo! Mijn naam is Elena en ik ben al 11 jaar trotse kattenmoeder van drie lieve katten. 🐈⬛ Ik hou van katten met heel mijn hart – ze zijn voor mij als familie. Zelfs katten op straat komen vaak naar mij toe voor een knuffel. 🐾 Ik voel meteen een klik met elke kat, of het nu een verlegen poes is of een echte knuffelkont. Mijn katten en ik hebben een sterke band en ik geloof dat ik dat warme gevoel ook kan geven aan jouw kat tijdens jouw afwezigheid. 🐾 Ik heb ook 13 jaar lang een hond gehad, maar toen hij overleed, heb ik niet besloten om nog een nieuwe te nemen. Ik hou net zoveel van hondjes en zorg met enorm veel plezier voor ze, omdat contact met dieren mij een onbeschrijfelijke vreugde geeft. 🐕 Momenteel werk ik niet, daarom heb ik veel tijd om voor dieren te zorgen. Donderdagen van 18:00 tot 22:00 en zaterdagen van 10:00 tot 14:00 ben ik niet beschikbaar, elke andere dag wel. Ik heb 3 katten van 8 tot 11 jaar oud en één kat die tijdelijk bij mij woont van nog geen jaar oud. De katten zijn vriendelijk en hebben geen enkel probleem met contact met nieuwe dieren. De tuin is 70 vierkante meter groot, er is wat groen aanwezig en hij is volledig omheind, veilig voor zowel katten als honden.
Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Fabio en Catalina, een jong stel uit de Buitenpepers in Den Bosch. We houden allebei ontzettend van honden en zijn ermee opgegroeid; we hebben dan ook veel ervaring en liefde daarvoor. Fabio volgt momenteel ook een opleiding tot Kynologisch Instructeur bij de Martin Gauss Academie (Edupet), waardoor we goed begrijpen wat verschillende rassen en honden nodig hebben. Zo is jouw hond nooit alleen 💕 We nemen jouw hond graag elk 2 uur mee naar buiten, en 1 à 2x per dag op een langere wandeling van 5 km door een prachtig natuurgebied (Heinis), zodat hij/zij regelmatig 5-10 km per dag beweging krijgt. Kan jouw hond mee in de auto? Dan is er ook de mogelijkheid om hem/haar mee te nemen voor langere natuurwandelingen (tot wel 20km!) in de omgeving zoals de Loonse Duinen, Vughtse Heide, Moerputten of langs de Maas 🌲 We hebben ook een volkstuintje op 10 minuten loopafstand in het Heinis-gebied, waar jouw hond lekker buiten kan spelen en snuffelen in een omheinde tuin. Uiteraard sturen we tussendoor veel updates en foto's, zodat je met een gerust hart van je vakantie kunt genieten of aan het werk kunt gaan. We nemen bovendien maar één huishouden met huisdieren tegelijk in huis (uw hond zal dus niet samen met een andere hond worden opgevangen die hij niet kent, maar als u twee of drie dieren heeft, staan we er wel voor open om ze samen op te vangen). We zouden zelf graag een dier hebben, maar helaas reizen we te vaak om dat te kunnen doen. Daarom zorgen we voor de dieren van anderen en geven we ze dezelfde liefde als onze eigen dieren. Over: Van jongs af aan altijd katten gehad en ik pas al langere tijd op honden van vrienden en kennissen. Ik heb momenteel de tijd en ruimte om met diertjes te knuffelen en lekker te gaan wandelen, dus wees welkom om contact op te nemen als je een oppas zoekt. Ik ben momenteel aan het revalideren, wat inhoudt dat ik een paar keer per week weg ben voor maximaal 4 uur aan een stuk. Verder heb ik werkzaamheden die ik flexibel in kan vullen in en om huis, wat maakt dat er voldoende aandacht en ruimte is voor wandelingen, speelpartijen op het hondengrasveld achter mijn straat en geknuffel. Ik heb een rustig huis wat ik deel met mijn vader die ook regelmatig naar het buitenland is. Katten mogen op de bedden en de bank. Honden mogen ook op de bank, mits op de hondendeken. De tuin is omheind, wat betekent dat een hond niet weg kan, een kat wel want er is hier genoeg te klimmen en onderdoor te gaan.

Over: Ik heb al sinds mijn 8ste honden gehad. Eerst een straathond die hielp ik toen verzorgen met mijn ouders, heel veel uitlaten, hardlopen en interactieve spelletjes zoals snifferdoeken of dat hij brokjes moest zoeken. Dit was namelijk wel een erg actieve hond. Nu woon ik als student in leeuwarden, thuis bij me ouders heb ik alle puppy training van onze nu 3 jarige labrador verzorgt. En we hebben ook nog eens een mopshond van 16 dus de oudjes worden ook niet buitengesloten😉. Iniedergeval mis ik het nu wel om lekker honden te trainen, uitlaten en verzorgen. Vandaar dit account! Momenteel ben ik dus student. Ik doe dierenmanagment, maar gelukkig zijn mijn uren heel flexibel. Als je bij mij wilt boeken dan is het wel fijn als er contact wordt gelegd, sinds sommigen weken drukker kunnen zijn dan andere. Ik woon wel in een appartement die niet enorm groot is vandaar dat ik ook geen honden van 45+ kilo aaneem. Ik neem oppas honden alleen aan als ik genoeg tijd heb, vandaar is het character en ras ook fijn om te weten zodat ik weet hoeveel tijd ervoor nodig is. Honden mogen bij mij niet op mijn bank of bed, als ze dit nou echt gewend zijn dan zijn er uitzonderingen te maken. I've cared for both dogs and cats for friends and family over the years and truly enjoy spending time with them-whether it's a playful walk, a cuddle on the couch, or keeping them company when you're away. My home is safe, smoke-free, and is located accros the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal in Utrecht, which means plenty of green area for your best friend to play around. Whether it's for a weekend or a longer stay, you can count on me for reliable, loving care-and lots of updates! I work from home, so have plenty of time to exchange and play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on any day of the week. I provide care in a calm, smoke-free apartment with a beautiful view of the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal boulevard. My home is a safe and peaceful environment, with no children and no resident pets, so your pet will receive my full attention and comfort while staying here.
Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.
Over: I had a dog for seven fantastic years, and we made each other incredibly happy. I miss her everyday. Although I am ready for a new pet, that is not so easy with my lifestyle (I travel ofen). By taking care of other dogs for shorter periods of time, I am hoping that I can share some love and make new (pet) friends. I normally work from home three days a week. This can be discussed in advance! I love taking long walks after work and during the weekends, so it would be fantastic that I can add a dog friend to this routine. I have a big appartment with a small balcony. In principle, I have no problem with the dog being in the couch, but this can also be previously discussed. I can't wait to meet your pet and give him/her some love! Have fun, play, and take long walks.

Ondertussen heb ik een eigen hond samen met mijn partner Sil, Frida een border collie. Samen trekken we er graag op uit, de natuur in om te wandelen. Als uw huisdier bij ons thuis verblijft dan delen ik en mijn partner de zorg over uw dier. Sil heeft veel ervaring met veel verschillende honden, heeft bij een hondenschool en dagopvang gewerkt. Of uw huisdier jong of oud is, of op een andere manier speciale aandacht nodig heeft, dat is geen enkel probleem. Momenteel studeer ik, daarnaast heb ik genoeg tijd om voor uw huisdier te zorgen, en anders springt mijn partner bij als het nodig is. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag met onze hond Frida dus als het te combineren valt is helemaal mooi meegenomen. En om voor katten in hun eigen woonomgeving te verzorgen is altijd mogelijk. We wonen op de eerste etage in een mooie groene buurt, de balkonzijde van de woning is heel rustig en zonnig. We zijn flexibel en kijken naar wat uw huisdier nodig heeft, en wat goed is voor hem/haar.

Over: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood – for 14 years I had my own loyal companion by my side. Today I am actively involved in dog rescue and have looked after many dogs of all different breeds and age groups. My most defining experience: I spent six months living in Greece, where I rescued street dogs, nursed them back to health at home and provided medical care – while at the same time managing a shelter with 120 dogs. From newborns and puppies to elderly, sick or traumatised animals, I have experienced and cared for dogs at every stage of life. With me, dogs are in loving, experienced hands – I treat them like my own. Having just moved to the Netherlands and not yet having a fixed job, I am very flexible with my time – especially during the week I am available almost anytime. I can adapt spontaneously and flexibly to your dog's needs, whether it's for a few hours or several days. I live in a cosy 65m² apartment in the heart of Vught, right next to plenty of green space. No pet yet (still dreaming!), but lucky to care for yours. 🐶 My Dog experience I've taken care of a baby Shiba multiple times, which taught me how much patience and joy puppies bring. In Wageningen, I've done some daycare, boarding (a Teckel for one night, a Labrador for six days), and many walks. For boarding at my place, I prefer house-trained dogs because I live in student accommodation. On walks, I'll need a sturdy leash and snacks if your dog isn't friendly with others, I'll be careful to avoid other dogs too. 🐱 My Cat experience Living with a roommate's two cats for a whole year changed me. I went from not knowing much about cats to truly loving their company every day. I also cared for a friend's three cats during her vacation (feeding, medicine, and cleaning). In Wageningen, I've done multiple home visits. For boarding at my place, your cat can stay in my room or explore the corridor. 💕 My style I give cuddles but also space. I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. My home & roommates I live on a student floor, and my roommates have given me permission to bring a pet. It's completely allowed and not a disturbance. The dog or cat will stay in my room. When I go to the kitchen, they might see my roommates (who usually enjoy it) but I'm the only one taking care of them! :) Preferences I prefer dogs that are house-trained because I live in a building. For cats, they are welcome to stay in my room or explore the corridor if they are comfortable doing so. Dog walks – what I need from you Please provide a sturdy leash and snacks in case your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. In that situation, I always change streets or take an alternate route when I see another dog approaching. Updates In all cases, I will send you regular photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for.
