I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

In Wageningen, I've done some daycare, boarding (a Teckel for one night, a Labrador for six days), and many walks. For boarding at my place, I prefer house-trained dogs because I live in student accommodation. On walks, I'll need a sturdy leash and snacks if your dog isn't friendly with others, I'll be careful to avoid other dogs too. 🐱 My Cat experience Living with a roommate's two cats for a whole year changed me. Over: Wij zijn een internationaal stel en echte hondenliefhebbers. Sinds een jaar hebben we onze eigen Labradoodle (1 jaar en 4 maanden), waarmee we drie puppycursussen hebben gevolgd. Hij is sociaal, energiek en gewend om dagelijks met andere honden om te gaan. We gaan elke dag naar het hondenpark waar hij minimaal 30 tot 60 minuten losloopt en speelt. In het weekend maken we graag langere wandelingen in het bos of de natuur. Het lijkt ons leuk om dit ook met andere honden te doen die goed sociaal zijn en genieten van beweging en aandacht. We hebben ervaring met honden van jongs af aan—van een Jack Russell in onze jeugd tot nu onze eigen hond. We begrijpen hoe belangrijk het is dat jouw hond zich veilig, ontspannen en gezien voelt. Daarom geven we persoonlijke aandacht en zorgen we voor een fijne, actieve dag. We spreken Engels thuis, maar ook Nederlands is geen probleem. Belangrijk: We passen het beste op honden die sociaal zijn met andere honden en zich comfortabel voelen in een actieve, open omgeving. Wij werken beide fulltime, maar in de weekenden zijn we vrijwel altijd thuis en actief met onze hond. In het dagelijks leven staan we vroeg op voor een goede ochtendwandeling, gevolgd door eten en voldoende rust. Over de dag verspreid gaan we elke 2 tot 4 uur naar buiten voor korte rondes, en maken we dagelijks minimaal één langere wandeling van 30 tot 60 minuten in een losloopgebied. Onze eigen hond (een jonge, energieke Labradoodle) gaat vaak mee naar een kantoor vlak naast ons appartement, waardoor hij zelden alleen is. In de weekenden richten we ons volledig op de honden: lange wandelingen, spelen en aandacht staan centraal. Jouw hond zal dus volop beweging, structuur en gezelschap krijgen. Wij wonen in een rustige, hondvriendelijke omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt, waaronder een losloopgebied waar honden veilig kunnen rennen en spelen. Ons appartement is compact (ongeveer 50 m²), maar doordat we meerdere keren per dag naar buiten gaan en dagelijks lange wandelingen maken, krijgen honden ruim voldoende beweging en prikkels. Onze eigen hond is sociaal en gewend om met andere honden om te gaan, wat zorgt voor een fijne en speelse sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat elke hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houden we rekening met het karakter, energieniveau en de behoeften van jouw hond. We bieden structuur, duidelijke routines en voldoende rustmomenten naast het spelen en wandelen. Voor de veiligheid letten we goed op interacties tussen honden en kiezen we bewust voor honden die sociaal zijn en goed samen kunnen. Indien nodig kunnen we honden gescheiden houden of extra rust bieden.

De aanwezigheid van honden mis ik enorm en daarom geef ik honden en katten met veel liefde, geduld en aandacht een warm thuis. Missschien tot snel! 😊 Ik werk voornamelijk vanuit huis, waardoor de verzorging van huisdieren perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine past. Mijn dagen kan ik flexibel indelen zodat er voldoende tijd is voor uitlaten, spelen, rustmomenten en persoonlijke aandacht. Daarnaast maak ik graag wandelingen in de dichtbijgelegen bossen en prachtige duinen, zodat honden voldoende beweging, frisse lucht en ontspanning krijgen. Ik verzorg huisdieren in een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving met veel persoonlijke aandacht. In mijn ruime huis en omheinde tuin kunnen honden vrij rennen, spelen en ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik twee aparte kamers ingericht: één voor honden met matten en speeltjes, en één voor katten met een speel- en klimhoek waar zij zich veilig kunnen terugtrekken. Meerdere keren per dag maken we fijne wandelingen en tussendoor zijn er voldoende rustmomenten, zodat dieren zich ontspannen en vertrouwd kunnen voelen.

Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Well, I can say that we had many dogs in the family over the years, and I’ve always had a way them. Teaching dogs the basics comes easy to me, and I love learning about owners and their dogs. Operating from intuition and trust, I am predictable and consistent, which makes them feel safe. On another note, I am retired and love to be outside in nature and have adventures together. Almost every day I go for a walk in the Dutch forests or sand dunes. Usually some friends will tag along. Everybody loves cruising the country roads in my Tesla model S with free electricity ;) I am not bragging here, but merely expressing my daily gratitude for what it enables us to do. About multi-day stays: if you want your dog(s) to have a stable rhythm and a peaceful home at night, then that can be arranged. Dogs relax with me very quickly and will get all the cuddles they desire! At my home we do have stairs, but of course I will carry the dog if needed. We have safety fences for babies and dogs on every floor.

Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

In Wageningen, I've done some daycare, boarding (a Teckel for one night, a Labrador for six days), and many walks. For boarding at my place, I prefer house-trained dogs because I live in student accommodation. On walks, I'll need a sturdy leash and snacks if your dog isn't friendly with others, I'll be careful to avoid other dogs too. 🐱 My Cat experience Living with a roommate's two cats for a whole year changed me.
