Wegens meerdere enkeloperaties heb ik afscheid moeten nemen van mijn hockeycarriere en dus vaste verplichtingen gedurende de avonden en weekenden. Wel werk ik fulltime maar is de mogelijkheid daar om thuis te werken. Voor mijn werk moet ik af en toe wel eens naar een klant of kantoor, het kan dus voorkomen dat het huisdier een ochtend of middag alleen is. Ik zorg voor genoeg aandacht, speeltijd en knuffels, maar ook voor rust wanneer dat nodig is. Uiteraard let ik goed op voeding, water en eventuele speciale verzorging die belangrijk is voor jouw huisdier. Jouw viervoeter krijgt bij mij de zorg en liefde alsof het mijn eigen huisdier is.

A few details about my services: • I happily provide house sitting throughout the Netherlands wherever the location is reasonably accessible by public transport. Having lived in both Amsterdam and Apeldoorn, I’m comfortable traveling to care for pets in different parts of the country. For bookings that require travel by public transport, I kindly ask that travel expenses are covered by the pet owner. I’m always happy to discuss the expected travel costs with you in advance so everything is clear before confirming the booking. • Dog walking and drop-in visits are available locally around Apeldoorn, where I can easily travel by bike. • I always like to arrange a short meet-and-greet beforehand so we can get to know each other, meet your pet, and make sure we are a great match. For meet-ups outside my local area, I kindly ask that travel expenses are covered. A quick note about Rover’s pricing: Rover may automatically add significant extra charges for additional pets. I don’t always agree with how these fees are calculated, so please don’t be discouraged by the total price shown in the app. I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s needs and find a fair price that works well for everyone. Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: Na mijn persoonlijke reis met mijn puppy die ik heb grootgebracht en getraind ben ik mijn liefde voor honden en andere dieren alleen maar meer gaan waarderen. Door mijn eigen ervaringen heb ik geleerd hoeveel rust, vertrouwen en geluk dieren kunnen brengen. Ik bied honden en katten een warm en liefdevol thuis in mijn fijne huis, omringd door natuur. Met rust, aandacht en fijne wandelingen midden in de natuur, langs bossen, vijvers en de duinen. In mijn grote afgesloten tuin en speciaal ingerichte kamer kunnen zij veilig ontspannen, spelen en genieten van alle aandacht die zij nodig hebben. Ik vind het belangrijk dat dieren zich veilig, rustig en vertrouwd voelen. Daarom kijk ik goed naar hun behoeften en geef ik ieder dier persoonlijke aandacht. De aanwezigheid van honden mis ik enorm en daarom geef ik honden en katten met veel liefde, geduld en aandacht een warm thuis. Missschien tot snel! 😊 Ik werk voornamelijk vanuit huis, waardoor de verzorging van huisdieren perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine past. Mijn dagen kan ik flexibel indelen zodat er voldoende tijd is voor uitlaten, spelen, rustmomenten en persoonlijke aandacht. Daarnaast maak ik graag wandelingen in de dichtbijgelegen bossen en prachtige duinen, zodat honden voldoende beweging, frisse lucht en ontspanning krijgen. Ik verzorg huisdieren in een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving met veel persoonlijke aandacht. In mijn ruime huis en omheinde tuin kunnen honden vrij rennen, spelen en ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik twee aparte kamers ingericht: één voor honden met matten en speeltjes, en één voor katten met een speel- en klimhoek waar zij zich veilig kunnen terugtrekken. Meerdere keren per dag maken we fijne wandelingen en tussendoor zijn er voldoende rustmomenten, zodat dieren zich ontspannen en vertrouwd kunnen voelen.

“We’ve left out Lab Saga and our french bulldog Luna with Monique, Sam and their lovely dog Charlie for our weekend away. Since it was our first boarding experience we didn’t know what to expect. But Monique offered a first meet and great and after that it all went smoothly. She has sent picture updates and answered all our questions while we were away. Saga and Luna seem to enjoy their stay as well. I would definitely write to her again in the future. Thanks for everything 🐾”
