Over: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood – for 14 years I had my own loyal companion by my side. Today I am actively involved in dog rescue and have looked after many dogs of all different breeds and age groups. My most defining experience: I spent six months living in Greece, where I rescued street dogs, nursed them back to health at home and provided medical care – while at the same time managing a shelter with 120 dogs. From newborns and puppies to elderly, sick or traumatised animals, I have experienced and cared for dogs at every stage of life. With me, dogs are in loving, experienced hands – I treat them like my own. Having just moved to the Netherlands and not yet having a fixed job, I am very flexible with my time – especially during the week I am available almost anytime. I can adapt spontaneously and flexibly to your dog's needs, whether it's for a few hours or several days. I live in a cosy 65m² apartment in the heart of Vught, right next to plenty of green space. As someone who loves being outdoors in nature, your dog will enjoy long daily walks and fresh air with me – they come along everywhere I go. In Wageningen, I've done some daycare, boarding (a Teckel for one night, a Labrador for six days), and many walks. For boarding at my place, I prefer house-trained dogs because I live in student accommodation. On walks, I'll need a sturdy leash and snacks if your dog isn't friendly with others, I'll be careful to avoid other dogs too. 🐱 My Cat experience Living with a roommate's two cats for a whole year changed me. I went from not knowing much about cats to truly loving their company every day. I also cared for a friend's three cats during her vacation (feeding, medicine, and cleaning). In Wageningen, I've done multiple home visits. For boarding at my place, your cat can stay in my room or explore the corridor. 💕 My style I give cuddles but also space. I read animal body language carefully and never force interaction. Safety always comes first. I can give medicine if you provide clear instructions (paper or PDF for anything complex). 🏠 House sitting & doggy day care I live in student housing with roommates, but I'm the only one who will care for your pet. My typical day: morning feed, then a long walk plus ball play, then nap. Some dogs need three walks (afternoon and before bed). For cats: litter, grooming, play, and evening feed. Evenings are for movies, pets are very welcome on my bed, even big dogs, for lap time and cuddles. 📸 Updates I never leave pets alone for long periods. I'll send regular photos so you can relax. Since I can't have my own pet yet, I truly look forward to caring for yours. Walks, boarding, sitting, vacation care – whatever works for you. Walks & cat home visits: I'm available before and after classes, and often can work from home too. My schedule is adaptable, and I can often accommodate last-minute requests. My home & roommates I live on a student floor, and my roommates have given me permission to bring a pet. It's completely allowed and not a disturbance. The dog or cat will stay in my room. When I go to the kitchen, they might see my roommates (who usually enjoy it) but I'm the only one taking care of them! :) Preferences I prefer dogs that are house-trained because I live in a building. For cats, they are welcome to stay in my room or explore the corridor if they are comfortable doing so. Dog walks – what I need from you Please provide a sturdy leash and snacks in case your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. In that situation, I always change streets or take an alternate route when I see another dog approaching. Updates In all cases, I will send you regular photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for.

Over: I’ve taken care of all dogs , and my most recent experience was taking care of 5 dog with 4 new born puppies for 2 days which it was an amazing experience although the oldest dog ( Belgian shepherd) had a bit of jealousy over the the smaller dogs ( poodles) but overall it was manageable and cute. Im currently studying at Radboud university as an pre master student and soon it will be summer and i would have more free time . Although i would like to know it in advance but still we can figure it out together I have a beautiful park next to my place that i can bring animals outside if its needed and im open for negotiations to talk about the way that can works for both sides
Over: Sinds mijn 14e heb ik altijd honden gehad. Eerst toen ik nog thuis woonde en daarna ook toen ik op mezelf ging wonen. Ik ben gek op honden en knuffel het liefst de hele dag met ze. Ik zorg soms voor de hond van mijn ouders en van mijn beste vriendin. Meestal zijn ze dan een paar dagen bij mij en daar geniet ik ontzettend van. Ik houd er ook van om lekkere lange wandelingen te maken en de hond(en) mee te nemen naar het bos. Ik werk part time en heb genoeg tijd doordeweeks en in het weekend om honden uit te laten of eventueel andere dingen. Ik heb geen vaste vrije dagen maar alles kan in overleg. Ik speel graag met de dieren en ga graag wandelingen maken. Het is natuurlijk ook gebaseerd op wat de hond nodig heeft en daarop stel ik mijn verzorging in.

Over: Van jongs af aan altijd katten gehad en ik pas al langere tijd op honden van vrienden en kennissen. Ik heb momenteel de tijd en ruimte om met diertjes te knuffelen en lekker te gaan wandelen, dus wees welkom om contact op te nemen als je een oppas zoekt. Ik ben momenteel aan het revalideren, wat inhoudt dat ik een paar keer per week weg ben voor maximaal 4 uur aan een stuk. Verder heb ik werkzaamheden die ik flexibel in kan vullen in en om huis, wat maakt dat er voldoende aandacht en ruimte is voor wandelingen, speelpartijen op het hondengrasveld achter mijn straat en geknuffel. Ik heb een rustig huis wat ik deel met mijn vader die ook regelmatig naar het buitenland is. Katten mogen op de bedden en de bank. Honden mogen ook op de bank, mits op de hondendeken. De tuin is omheind, wat betekent dat een hond niet weg kan, een kat wel want er is hier genoeg te klimmen en onderdoor te gaan.
Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Fabio en Catalina, een jong stel uit de Buitenpepers in Den Bosch. We houden allebei ontzettend van honden en zijn ermee opgegroeid; we hebben dan ook veel ervaring en liefde daarvoor. Fabio volgt momenteel ook een opleiding tot Kynologisch Instructeur bij de Martin Gauss Academie (Edupet), waardoor we goed begrijpen wat verschillende rassen en honden nodig hebben. We kunnen tijdens het oppassen ook werken aan training zou je dat willen. We werken allebei grotendeels vanuit huis en plannen ons werk zo dat er altijd iemand thuis is. Hierdoor is er de hele dag door genoeg tijd voor aandacht, spel en natuurlijk de nodige knuffels. Zo is jouw hond nooit alleen 💕 We nemen jouw hond graag elk 2 uur mee naar buiten, en 1 à 2x per dag op een langere wandeling van 5 km door een prachtig natuurgebied (Heinis), zodat hij/zij regelmatig 5-10 km per dag beweging krijgt. Kan jouw hond mee in de auto? Dan is er ook de mogelijkheid om hem/haar mee te nemen voor langere natuurwandelingen (tot wel 20km!) in de omgeving zoals de Loonse Duinen, Vughtse Heide, Moerputten of langs de Maas 🌲 We hebben ook een volkstuintje op 10 minuten loopafstand in het Heinis-gebied, waar jouw hond lekker buiten kan spelen en snuffelen in een omheinde tuin. Uiteraard sturen we tussendoor veel updates en foto's, zodat je met een gerust hart van je vakantie kunt genieten of aan het werk kunt gaan. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.
Over: Ik heb al sinds mijn 8ste honden gehad. Eerst een straathond die hielp ik toen verzorgen met mijn ouders, heel veel uitlaten, hardlopen en interactieve spelletjes zoals snifferdoeken of dat hij brokjes moest zoeken. Dit was namelijk wel een erg actieve hond. Nu woon ik als student in leeuwarden, thuis bij me ouders heb ik alle puppy training van onze nu 3 jarige labrador verzorgt. En we hebben ook nog eens een mopshond van 16 dus de oudjes worden ook niet buitengesloten😉. Iniedergeval mis ik het nu wel om lekker honden te trainen, uitlaten en verzorgen. Vandaar dit account! Momenteel ben ik dus student. Ik doe dierenmanagment, maar gelukkig zijn mijn uren heel flexibel. Als je bij mij wilt boeken dan is het wel fijn als er contact wordt gelegd, sinds sommigen weken drukker kunnen zijn dan andere. Ik woon wel in een appartement die niet enorm groot is vandaar dat ik ook geen honden van 45+ kilo aaneem. Ik neem oppas honden alleen aan als ik genoeg tijd heb, vandaar is het character en ras ook fijn om te weten zodat ik weet hoeveel tijd ervoor nodig is. Honden mogen bij mij niet op mijn bank of bed, als ze dit nou echt gewend zijn dan zijn er uitzonderingen te maken. Je kunt bij mij verwachten dat niet alleen uw hond fysiek voldaan is maar ook mentaal!

Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

Momenteel zit ik tussen twee banen in en ben ik meer thuis. Ik doe vrijwilligerswerk, maar heb veel uren over. Deze besteedt ik al veel buiten (in het bos). Aangezien ik veel van honden houd hoop ik die twee te kunnen combineren! Ik woon in een appartement op steenworp afstand van een hondenlosloopgebied. Voor een langere wandeling steek ik zo door naar het grote bos Den Treek. Thuis zou een hond ook even kunnen vertoeven, maar we gaan natuurlijk vooral naar buiten.

Op deze manier is de verzorging van hondjes een vast en belangrijk onderdeel van de routine. Wanneer een huisdier bij mij thuis verblijft, zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige en huiselijke omgeving. Er wordt gewerkt met vaste momenten voor eten, uitlaten en rust, zodat het dier structuur heeft. Natuurlijk houd ik rekening met speciale wensen, zoals dieetvoeding, medicatie of extra beweging. Het welzijn, de veiligheid en persoonlijke aandacht staan altijd voorop, zodat elk huisdier zich comfortabel en op zijn gemak voelt.

Ik heb 3 katten van 8 tot 11 jaar oud en één kat die tijdelijk bij mij woont van nog geen jaar oud. De katten zijn vriendelijk en hebben geen enkel probleem met contact met nieuwe dieren. Over: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood – for 14 years I had my own loyal companion by my side. Today I am actively involved in dog rescue and have looked after many dogs of all different breeds and age groups. My most defining experience: I spent six months living in Greece, where I rescued street dogs, nursed them back to health at home and provided medical care – while at the same time managing a shelter with 120 dogs. From newborns and puppies to elderly, sick or traumatised animals, I have experienced and cared for dogs at every stage of life. With me, dogs are in loving, experienced hands – I treat them like my own. Having just moved to the Netherlands and not yet having a fixed job, I am very flexible with my time – especially during the week I am available almost anytime. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Als ik even weg moet, is dat meestal maximaal twee uur. Waar mogelijk neem ik de hond ook graag mee, zodat hij of zij zo min mogelijk alleen hoeft te zijn. Ik woon in een appartement op de eerste verdieping (zonder lift) met een ruime, volledig afgesloten tuin. Thuis wonen ook twee rustige vrouwelijke keeshonden van 10 jaar oud. De tuin kan indien nodig worden opgedeeld, zodat honden hun eigen ruimte hebben en rustig aan elkaar kunnen wennen. In huis zorg ik voor een veilige, rustige omgeving en let ik goed op de behoeften en het ritme van de hond.
