Over: Hi! I'm Linnea, 23-year-old Finnish girl and I'm now in the final year of my study here in Friesland. Even though I have just moved to Winsum Friesland, I still have many happy clients in Leeuwarden and the surroundings so I am always open for new requests 🙌🏻 Back in Finland I grew up in the countryside surrounded by horses, cats and dogs and had an own cat myself. In The Netherlands I started missing being around animals and started with petsitting. I have been catsitting 40+ cats and dogs already and the owners have been very satisfied with my care for their pets. I offer both home visits, overnight stays at the house and also the opportunity of dogs to come stay at our spacious house in Winsum Friesland. I have experience with giving medication and with shy and reactive pets. My mentality is to always go with the needs of the pet first as this creates a comfortable environment for all ❤️ Watering plants, vacuuming around the house and collecting post when you're gone for a longer time is also not a problem at all! 🌱 I always like to provide the owner with a lot of updates and photos from the visits and most importantly make sure that your pet feels loved. “Voor het eerst gebruik gemaakt van Cat in a flat. Mijn kat is erg lief maar ook schuw. Ze is geen cat sitter gewend. Mervat heeft me op de hoogte gehouden en gerustgesteld door berichten, foto's en video's te sturen. Bij thuiskomst trof ik een geheel ontspannen kat aan dankzij Mervat. Over: I grow up with dogs. My previous dog was 18 years old. My current dog is 2 years old. We have very good relationships. I show them lots of love, and I love walking them in nature and play together. I can help feed them food piece by piece if needed. For senior dogs, if they need diapers or other body care, I can also help. I am a master degree student. I can take care of pets after classes. My schedule for petsitting (starting from February) is Saturday~Monday: full day (I can spend full days with pets if needed) Wednesday: after 1 p.m. Friday: after 4 p.m. I can follow your house rules if I stay in your home. I can wake up early to walk them or feed them if needed.

Over: I’ve grown up around cats my whole life, so being around them feels very natural to me. I absolutely love their personalities, and I’m honestly the type of person who stops on the street just to pet and play with every cat I see. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about cat behavior, body language, routines, and individual needs. I understand that every cat has a different personality — some are playful and social, while others are shy and need patience and space. I’m very attentive to their comfort and wellbeing, and I always make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. Spending time with cats genuinely makes me happy, and I love giving them attention, affection, and calm companionship.

Over: I have taken care of my neighbourhoods pets as I had a good reputation of taking good care of them. So any pets, I can take care of them. I also have a cat and have had multiple other animals including dogs, fishes, hamsters and even baby cats from my current cat who gave birth (very cute). I have been in training centres with my own dog to see how training works and the basics of taking care of dogs and acclimatising with other dogs as well. I am always open to learn more about animals and their different behaviours as I find it really interesting how they all have their own personalities.

Over: Al 15 jaar zorg ik met liefde voor dieren, van dwerghamsters tot honden en katten. Wat ooit begon met de verzorging van mijn eerste hamsters en vissen, is uitgegroeid tot een echte passie voor dieren. Inmiddels heb ik al zeven jaar een hond uit Portugal, die destijds is geadopteerd. En vijf jaar een boerderij kat, die ik elke dag met veel liefde en aandacht verzorg. Naast mijn eigen dieren pas ik met veel plezier op de huisdieren van anderen. Ik kom graag bij mensen thuis, zodat het dier in zijn vertrouwde omgeving kan blijven. Of het nu gaat om eten geven, gezelschap houden, wandelen of gewoon even knuffelen ik sta klaar voor jouw huisdier! Momenteel ga ik naar mijn vierde jaar van mijn studie HBO-verpleegkunde. Komend semester ga ik aan de slag met mijn scriptie, wat betekent dat ik een flexibele planning heb en daardoor goed beschikbaar ben. Mijn weekschema kan per week verschillen, maar in overleg is er veel mogelijk en maken we gemakkelijk afspraken die voor beiden werken. Een dier voelt zich het prettigst in een vertrouwde en veilige omgeving. Daarom pas ik het liefst op bij de mensen thuis, zodat het huisdier in zijn eigen ritme en omgeving kan blijven. Of het nu gaat om een kort bezoek voor verzorging, een wandeling, of langere oppasperiodes. In overleg kijk ik altijd wat het beste past bij het dier én de eigenaar.

Over: Ik heb sinds mijn 5e 2 honden. Ik heb ze zien opgroeien vanaf puppy tot senioren. Ze zijn inmiddels 14 jaar oud en ik verzorg ze nogsteeds heel graag. Wandelen, voeren en wassen moet allemaal gebeuren en ik doe het met alle liefde voor de liefste diertjes. Ik heb ook opgepast op andere honden die onderdak nodig hadden, puppy’s en grote honden. Momenteel heb ik een tussenjaar, dus ik ben vrijwel altijd beschikbaar. Ik kan de hele dag in het huis oppassen op de hondjes maar ook een paar keer per dag ze uitlaten. Gezelschap en liefde vind ik belangrijk. Het ligt er vanaf wat de hond nodig heeft, puppy’s spelen het liefst de hele dag door en je moet ze in de gaten houden en voor de oudere honden vooral bij hun zijn en knuffelen. Dat doe ik allemaal heel graag met ze.

Over: I grew up with cats because my family loves cats and cats are very popular in my home country Iran they are every where. I've been taking care of my own cat for 3 years and he is my best friend. His favourite game is hide and seek and his favourite meal is chicken breast. I enjoy being around cat all the time because they make me feel relaxed and I connected to them and I love the fact that each of them have their own personality so I love to get to know them, talk to them( because they understand) and play with them to untill they can trust me. I also used to take care of my friends cats when they were not home or on vacation especially my boyfriends Persian can. He is very spoiled and calm but my own cat is a DSH cat and he is very energetic and playful all the time so I can get along with different cats really well.

Over: My background includes working in a dog grooming salon and volunteering in an animal rescue shelter: providing daily walks, feeding, basic training, support, and attentive and compassionate care for every dog in the salon and shelter. I am a dog mom of one golden doodle💛 I grew up with a pug who was my absolute best friend but she unfortunately passed peacefully a few months ago at the age of 14. I really miss having that connection and cherish the time I had with her. I’d love the chance to build that same kind of bond with your pets and become their best friend🐾 As a Master’s student conducting my research online, I have a flexible and open schedule that allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily life. I can plan walks, feeding by times, and play time throughout the day without constraints. Because I spend most of my time working from home, I’m also available for longer stays, walks, companionship, and attention, making it easy to adapt to each pet’s specific needs and routine. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I stick closely to their usual routines (feeding, walking, playtime), and any other specific instructions so they experience as little disruption as possible.
