Doggie first aid/CPR certified! Currently working for the ASPCA as a senior veterinary assistant. I am trained in fear-free positive reenforcement animal handling. Comfortable with handling reactive / anxious dogs, slow introductions with lots of treats. I maintain consistent communication with my clients, and constantly provide updates via pictures/videos. I always let your pet come to me first, and ask the owner before hand how their pet prefers to be approached! I also use treats and toys to establish trust. Looking forward to meeting your buddy!! :)

We are extremely grateful for booking with Tess! When our senior dog had stomach issues on the first day, Tess was happy to cook and feed our dog a bland meal to help him feel better. She took great care of both of our pets and was highly communicative, especially when we were worrying about our dog’s stomach issues. We highly recommend booking with Tess!

I’m truly so grateful for the way Tess showed up as a pet sitter! She took the time to come out to my apartment a week early to meet my dog who’s wary of new people and was fearless in the face of her anxious chihuahua guardedness. I felt so relieved and honestly supported by Tess in my first trip leaving my dog with a new person. She’s a rockstar! I highly recommend working with her and hope to book with her again for future trips!!

Tess was absolutely terrific, would recommend her without reservation. She was warm and extremely communicative. She updated us with cute pics and asked questions to ensure our dog was getting the exact care he needed. Our dog has medication, and Tess managed to give it to him with less effort than I could. She was also flexible when we were running a little later and left our apartment completely spotless. Hopefully, we'll be able to work with her again!
Tess was knowledgable, communicative and respectful of our space. She asked all the right questions, and I felt comfortable leaving Jasper with her from our initial meet and greet. We would definitely book Tess again. Thank you, Tess!

Schedule
M-F, I work 8 hour shifts in person at my job at the ASPCA. I compensate for that by tiring your pet out before / after I get home from work, and spending all weekend with them :)
