Hi there! I'm Stephanie, and I am excited to explore this platform! I started overnight pet sitting in April, and most of my experience is with cats. Before this April, my experience entailed drop-ins for cats to feed and play with them, and change their litter. I have cared for senior cats and senior dogs, and am comfortable with administering medication. I am from New Jersey and recently (June 2026) moved back to the area after spending 11 and a half years in Madrid. I am in the NYC/North Jersey area staying with family, and pet sitting. I am looking for sits -- especially longer-term -- in NYC, Jersey City, Hoboken, and nearby as I settle into this new chapter ❤️

I'll treat your fur babies with love and care, and your home as I would my own. I enjoy helping others and making their lives easier in some way. I aim to give people peace of mind by caring for their pets and home, so they can fully enjoy their travels or focus on what they need to do while away. I follow pet parents' guidelines to the letter to ensure that their little ones are treated the way they deserve to be, and are used to! I can also be counted on to leave your home as I found it. For cat sits, I can care for up to three cats per stay, and for dog sits, I can care for up to one per stay. I can also do sits with one dog and one cat together. And, I'm a plant lover and am happy to look after any plants :)

Stephanie took care of my cats for almost two weeks in April 2026. She was a stranger to me when she took care of my cats, so my experiences with her would be similar to that of a Rover client. In my case, Stephanie was an in-home overnight sitter. Stephanie was really great at communicating. She sent pictures of my cats every evening along with a summary of their day. This was my request, I am sure she would tailer her reports to your specific needs! She asked thoughtful questions before her arrival and throughout her visit. She made me feel at ease knowing my cats and home were under the care of someone who was trustworthy. We communicated enough before her stay that I was confident it would be a good experience. When I came home, the house was really clean. Stephanie was super thoughtful about my home and my things, and was respectful of spaces I’d marked as off-limits. I would whole-heartedly recommend that you hire Stephanie for your pet care needs.
Stephanie has taken care of my very high maintenance, high energy dog and cat with the utmost love and care. She is communicative, wonderful with the pets, self-sufficient, and takes care of the house (we come back to find it better than we leave it). She gets the first call when we go out of town and would trust her with any pets and our apartment any time!

Schedule
I work Monday-Friday in Jersey City from 3-7pm, but I am otherwise flexible with my schedule! I am open to sits ranging from two nights to a few months long. I look forward to helping you!
