Aspiring Veterinary Student
As you've seen in my photos, I have vet clinic experience. I've done an internship at a clinic while I was abroad for three months, and I learned how to inject subcutaneous and intramuscular medication, along with inserting a catheter. I've also learned how to properly syringe feed and stimulate puppies to urinate/defecate. I currently have a job at an animal shelter, that has me attend to both dogs and cats. I know how to care for them, to give them mental stimulation and enrichment, to properly clean up after them, all the works. Before I’ve had to start working at the shelter, I had to complete a course specifically about animal care, and what to do in many different kinds of situations. I’m sure that your pet would have an amazing stay with me! :) I've taken care of my yorkshire terrier since I was ~8 years old. I've had her ever since she was a pup. Unfortunately, she has passed, but she made it to almost 14 years old. I know how to take care of the smallest lil guys even up to the oldest sweethearts. I've also brought my dog to a dog park multiple times, so she's been around multiple different kinds of dogs, and that therefore means that I have also surrounded myself with a bunch of different dogs! I've visited my grandparents a few times, and hung out with their larger dog (labrador) and cared for their cat that had little kittens. I've also occasionally looked after my neighbours cat, and cleaned up their litterbox, etc.

Sophia is very communicative and took incredible care of my little guy. She has a friendly family so even when she isn’t there, your pet is loved & cared for! Definitely recommend :)
Absolutely amazing.
I would like to give special thanks to Sophie and her family for taking care of Bigi. They were super accomodating to my senior dog and having owned a dog before they knew exactly how to handle his needs. I got frequent updates and that put me at ease. They also accomodated when my travel plans changed on short notice to pick him up. I would highly recommend Sophie and family.
Sophia and her family went far and beyond during my dog stay. They made sure he was eating and having enough walks during the day. They always keep me posted with pictures and videos. I highly recommend them and will book again soon.
Sophia and her family were wonderful, very welcoming, friendly, and caring people. Cookie had a great time at their place and came back very happy, which gave us confidence that he was well taken care of. This was our first experience, and it was a great one. We would definitely leave Cookie with them again if needed.
I am so happy I found Sophia! We went away for a week and we were so lucky to have found Sophia. She was amazing with my dog and two cats, could not have asked for more. She would also respond with pictures making me feel at ease. If you are thinking of going away, I highly suggest entrusting your fur babies with Sophia, you will not regret it! Schedule
I'm currently attending university, so I'll have to work around a schedule, but I’ll still be able to take them out for walks, etc! luckily my schedule pretty flexible, so tell me the time you want, and I will try to make it work. I have recently started working at an animal shelter, but for the times that I’ll be over there, my family will take care of your babies at home :)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard, with an area of grass for your babies to do their business in. Also, there's a park close to my house, and I would gladly bring them over there to play if you wanted me to do so! I am also able to walk them around my neighbourhood. my house is a pretty relaxed environment, and I've become pretty knowledgeable on animal behaviours + indicators of health thanks to my current studies in animal biology and my experiences in my current job at the animal shelter. I can assure you that I will do my very best to take care of your buddy!
A typical day
I’ll make sure to take your pets out for walks, your buddies and I can play with my dog’s old toys (she had a whole box of them), and there’s a park nearby my house with a large field that I would love to bring them to !
