Hi! I’m Sophia, a lifelong dog lover based in Lakewood, CA, where I live with three rescue pups. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid - from energetic puppies to senior sweethearts. Nowadays I'm the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. With a career in government and politics, I bring the same level of professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail to every walk, drop-in, or overnight stay. Safety, trust & environment
While I don’t offer care in my own home because I have three rescue dogs, I’m more than happy to care for pets in their own familiar environment. I believe dogs feel most comfortable and secure in their own space, so I focus on keeping their routine consistent—whether that’s feeding, walking, playtime, or cuddle time. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and personality and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I also keep owners updated with regular check-ins, photos, and notes for peace of mind.

****** Us: helicopter dog parents with one little dog and one big dog anxious to leave our babies with someone we didn't know. (Enter Sophia) She came over to our place to get to know our girls and chatted with us and answered all our questions and alleviated our concerns. She came over early the day we left for a 7 day trip and walked the girls with us. She stayed at our house and took excellent care of our babies. Always sending us pictures and updates as we requested. We have already booked her again. I would recommend Sophia to my friends and family. She is an exceptional dog whisperer!

Schedule
Right now, I’m focusing solely on dog walking and pet care as I take a break from my full-time career. I’ve always loved being around animals, and this time has given me the opportunity to fully dedicate myself to caring for dogs—whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just making sure they feel safe and loved. Since my schedule is currently flexible, I’m able to prioritize each pup’s unique needs and build consistent, dependable routines with them. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about every day.
