I work a full time job from home, so my schedule is very flexible. For walks, I am primarily available in the mornings before work and evenings.

I have a large fenced in yard for pups to run and play at my home. The yard has plenty of shade as well for these hot summer days. Indoors, your fur baby will always be monitored closely by myself (and my two cats, lol!). If I am ever required to leave the home where your pet cannot join me, they will be crated or at least separated from the other pets in the home where they can relax.

Temperament with other animals and people is the most important. I never want to put your pet in an overwhelming situation. It is also VERY important to know if they have any sort of separation anxiety or special dietary/medical requirements. Please be honest and transparent in the description of your pets! As an example, the reviewer of my profile, Julie, did not accurately describe her pets. I was happy to accept a request for two sweet and “low energy” dogs. However, one of the dogs lacked the ability to relax in my home. In a very short time they caused significant property damage, barked at all hours of the night and day, and overall we’re not my ideal clients, nor was I their ideal home. This resulted in me ending their stay early and caused the owner headache with having to find another option in such short notice.

I love taking dogs to the Benson lake park which also has a nice dog park of your pet would enjoy that. Throughout the day we will also play fetch in my large back yard.

Throughout my life, I have cared for everything from parakeets to horses. As a kid, my family bred, raised, and trained hunting dogs. Later in life I found fulfillment in volunteering at animal shelters working with aggressive and fearful dogs. I also spend my time caring for my horse and farm sitting for others as well. Tending to animals is a lifelong passion of mine, and I pride myself on providing excellent care.

Sloan was great as usual and was super helpful with us for a last minute trip
Sloan was very helpful with her drop in visits while I had a hectic work week. She took our Dipsie for walks and sent many sweet updates during her visits.
Sloan was so amazing!! My trip kept running into issues and Sloan was flexible, understanding, and kind. Mocha was well taken care of and so was my apartment. Definitely booking Sloan again!!
Sloan took great care of Erma while I was away. It was clear when we met for our meet and greet that she has a lot of animal care experience and is very attentive to the needs of each pet. Would definitely book her again in the future!
