I have owned dogs all of my life, but have done pet sitting for cats, rabbits, birds, goats, pigs, chickens, fish and snakes in the past. My first pet sitting experience was in San Marcos, Texas while I was working at a local church. I did pet sitting as a way to raise funds for my 1st two missions to Africa in 2005 and 2006. I sat for the pastors and many members of the congregation, so I have references if needed. I most recently was the primary care giver of my elderly dachshund who passed away at 18 years of age 6 years ago, so I feel especially qualified to take care of older pets and I am comfortable administering medications. I give plenty of love, snuggles and kisses and playtime, with walks if requested. I can also do basic grooming like brushing and baths.
