If there was a “10 star” review, I’d rate Sarah a 10! Sarah took excellent care of my puppy Beau. She communicated with me daily, sent photos, kept me aware of walks and feedings. Sarah house sat for me and when I returned home, the house was immaculate. Prior to my trip, I had asked Sarah to meet with Beau one more time so that he knew her. She made time for us out of her busy work day. Beau took to Sarah right away! Thank you so much for taking such good care of “my baby”

I’m following up regarding a serious concern with the sitter, Sarah, and her recent stay with our dog, Malibu. I hired Sarah to care for our pup and trusted her in our home. Since we were a new family to her, I made sure to provide detailed information about Malibu’s care and daily routine to ensure things went smoothly. However, on 10/30/25 Sarah left our home at 4:15pm and did not return until 11:30pm, nearly 7½ hours later. During that entire time, Malibu was left alone without a bathroom break, check-in, or proper care. This level of neglect is unacceptable and completely contrary to what was promised in the booking. Had Sarah communicated her plans in advance, I could have arranged for my son to help. Instead, I had to spend my evening messaging her, calling my son late at night (who has two small children, one a newborn), and worrying about Malibu’s wellbeing. It became clear that Sarah prioritized her personal plans by attending a friend’s engagement celebration over the responsibility she accepted to care for our dog. This experience was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and neglectful of Malibu’s needs. I do not trust Sarah’s services, feel I overpaid for what was supposed to be a 24-hour overnight stay, and will not be using her again. I’m requesting that Rover review this incident, address the sitter’s conduct, and provide an appropriate resolution. Sarah should not be caring for pets.

Sarah is an exceptional house & dog sitter. We went to a wedding out of state for 6 days and were able to not worry the whole time. Sarah is caring with our large dog and made her feel comfortable immediately. We loved our regular updates and assurances that all was well in our absence. Sarah even went above and beyond to make sure everything was tidy before we came home (a bonus we didn’t expect but appreciated). Anytime we need to be away in the future, we will be calling Sarah first. She is awesome, caring, and dependable!

Sarah did a great job of taking care of our pups, who both have medical things going on, while we went on vacation. She went above and beyond with her care for them and her communication with us. 💕

Sarah is fantastic! She is a great communicator and always sends pics and keeps us updated. I am able to enjoy my time away and not worry about our dogs or house when Sarah is there.
