Dogs have been a part of my family for my entire life. I personally know that they aren't just pets, but loved ones. I have my own pup named Holly, a seven-year-old red heeler-lab mix with the goofiest grin. My fiancé also has a mini Bernadoodle named Charlie that he adopted eight years ago. Besides Holly, I have extensive experience with dogs of all ages and a love for them! I am also comfortable sitting for cats and have done so for neighbors and friends on many occasions. I used to work at an animal rescue, where I learned necessary leash-handling skills for dogs across a range of comfort levels. Beyond my experience, I have a deep empathy for dogs with quirky behaviors. I am comfortable giving pets medication and taking them on long walks—even if they don't have the best leash manners!

Safety, trust & environment
Please no dogs over 100 pounds. I have training under my belt from working with dogs with difficult behaviors during my time at an animal shelter. These abilities are limited to dogs who pull and jump while on or off leash. Otherwise, I am perfectly comfortable walking your pups, hanging out with them at home, giving them medication, feeding them, and playing with them!

Sara was absolutely wonderful with our fur babies! She sent us updates and photos each day were gone and left us a note about how they did while she was there. We definitely recommend Sara to anyone in need of a sitter and will absolutely be reaching out to her again the next time we leave town.
Sara is a wonderful dog lover. She dotes on her family dog every opportunity she gets and is a very responsible pet owner, always making sure the dog’s needs are met. She is very patient and willing to work with dogs who might not listen the first time around with compassion, but also a firm hand. I absolutely trust Sara to care for my pooch.

Schedule
I am often to work around your pet’s schedule, as I’m a marketing freelancer working from home. While weekends can be difficult, I am usually available during weekdays.
