I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, and as a cat owner myself, I understand just how different every pet’s personality and routine can be. I especially love caring for cats—from the outgoing ones who want constant attention and playtime to the shy ones who prefer to approach on their own terms. I have experience caring for pets ranging from just a few weeks old to seniors, as well as administering oral medications and caring for pets with special needs. I always do my best to follow your pet’s normal feeding, litter, medication, play, and sleep routines so they can stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Communication is very important to me. I send detailed updates and plenty of photos so you know how your pet is eating, behaving, using the litter box, playing, and adjusting while you’re gone. I also genuinely enjoy taking great pictures of the pets I care for—you may come home with a few new favorite photos! My own pets are part of my family, and I know how much trust it takes to leave yours in someone else’s care. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention.

Schedule
My availability changes throughout the year, and I keep my Rover calendar updated to reflect when I am accepting bookings. When I am available, I am happy to help with cat drop-ins, cat boarding, and other pet-care needs that fit my schedule. Feel free to send me your dates, your pet’s routine, and any special care instructions when submitting a request. For repeat clients, please feel free to reach out even if you have a last-minute need. If I am available, I am always happy to help!

I have a pet-friendly, non-smoking home and take introductions, routines, and safety very seriously. For cats boarding in my home, I understand that entering a new environment can be stressful. I give visiting cats time and space to adjust and never force interaction. I follow their normal feeding and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of appropriate attention, playtime, and quiet time based on their individual personality. I have resident pets of my own, so before accepting a boarding request I like to learn about your cat’s temperament, previous experience around other animals, medical needs, and anything that may help make their stay more comfortable. During our meet-and-greet, I’ll ask about feeding schedules, litter habits, medications, favorite toys, hiding places, behavioral quirks, and anything else you think I should know.

A typical day
For cats, I tailor my care to their personality rather than expecting every cat to interact the same way. Social cats can expect plenty of petting, playtime, toys, and companionship. For shy or cautious cats, I’m happy to sit quietly nearby, give them their space, and let them decide when they are ready to interact. I monitor food and water intake, litter-box habits, behavior, and overall comfort and include those details in my updates. I also make time for enrichment and play when the cat enjoys it. My goal is to keep your cat’s day as familiar and stress-free as possible while still giving them plenty of individual attention.

The more I know about your pet’s normal routine and personality, the easier it is for me to make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar.
