When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs, routines, and personality to ensure they feel loved and secure while under my care. For dogs, I provide regular walks tailored to their energy levels, ensure they’re fed according to their specific dietary needs, and spend quality time playing and cuddling to make them feel at home. I’m experienced with preparing fresh meals if required and oral administering medications when needed. For cats, I ensure their feeding schedules are maintained, litter boxes are clean, and I offer plenty of play and affection (or give them space if that’s their preference!). In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and maintain the pet’s familiar routines to help reduce stress while you’re away. My goal is to give your pets the same level of care and love I provide to my own.

Sandra was a great petsitter for our cat. She was responsive, sent plenty of pictures, provided a thorough update every day we were gone, and our cat was really comfortable with her. Strongly recommend her if you need a petsitter!

Hello! I’m an experienced and passionate pet lover with a lifetime of caring for animals! My journey began in childhood with my poodle, Pepper, who taught me the joy and responsibility of pet ownership. I helped walk, feed, and play with him daily, which sparked my love for caring for animals. As a parent, I raised two wonderful dogs and cared for four cats throughout my daughter’s upbringing. I even worked at a puppy shop for 3.5 years, where I gained hands-on experience grooming puppies, cleaning their living spaces, and administering oral medications. Now my husband and I are proud pet parents to a 5-year-old French Bulldog, Lola, who has become the heart of our home as empty nesters. I take joy in cooking for her, taking her on regular walks, and making playtime a priority. With decades of experience and a true love for animals, I understand the importance of providing pets with the care, attention, and affection they deserve. Whether it's walking, feeding, or playing, I’d love to care for your furry family members as if they were my own.
