Optimal Care for Special Needs
My life, and family revolve around the care of dogs. My husband Chris and I fostered greyhounds for 3 years for Greyt Expectations Greyhound Rescue and conducted home visits for Lu's Labs. I am experienced with and enjoy providing care for: * Certified canine CPR and First Aid by PetTech * Chronic care, acute care, specialized diets * Medical needs: blood sugar testing, insulin injections, post-operative care. * disabled dogs: blind, deaf, limited mobility * geriatric dogs * multiple dog households * dogs with anxiety or separation issues * long term boarding My husband of 28 years is very supportive and involved with each wonderful pet we are blessed to have in our home. We enjoy working as a team to ensure each dog receives optimal care. Over the years dogs have become my way of life. Everything and everyone in my world revolves around the dogs, not the other way around. I have two separate play yards for dogs to run and play. I have a large field where I leash walk dogs. Dogs enjoy relaxing in my one level home. They may choose where they are most comfortable to lounge and sleep.

Renee is so very patient with Tillie. Tillie is a fussy eater and very independent. She always finds a way to get her to eat!
Our dogs get so excited to go to Renee’s! With other sitters we’ve tried you can tell they are sad, they don’t even look back when we drop them for their own vacation at Renee’s!

This was Reed’s first time staying away from home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Renee was wonderful from the very beginning—she was easy to communicate with, kept me updated, and sent pictures throughout his stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. Honestly, it felt like I was dropping Reed off at his grandparents’ house for the weekend. You can immediately tell that Renee and her husband genuinely love and care for animals. Reed was happy, well cared for, and had a great time playing and enjoying himself. Knowing he was in such loving and trustworthy hands made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend Renee to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and dependable place for their pet. We will definitely be back!

Tillie always enjoys her stay with Renee and Chris. She enjoys her long walks and special attention she gets from them. It is a relief to know she is well taken care of while I'm away.

I enjoy bonding with each dog individually. I leash walk, play chuck it, fill dog pools, provide chew safe chewing activities, and more as needed. Activities are taylored to suit your pet's specific needs and interests.
