I live in a large apartment with no personal pets. Dogs would be crated when I’m in class (only a few hours a day, less than 6 usually) and free to roam when I’m home, with at least 2 relief walks a day. I have one female roommate who is also experienced in caring for dogs, but I will be the only one responsible for the dog’s care. Care at a client’s home would all depend on their personal preferences! I am comfortable sleeping over for any type of pet.
Information Rachel E. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences. I am comfortable administering oral medication and can administer other types if shown how to properly do so.
A typical day
Each day will start with a 20 minute walk (or shorter for senior/special needs pups) and breakfast. If I’m out for class your dog will stay crated and I will return to provide a relief walk/check up within 4 hours. When I come home after the school day your dog will receive another walk, dinner, and play or cuddle time. An additional relief walk will be provided before bed time if necessary. I only have class 3 days a week, so all other days I will spend most of my time playing and bonding with your pup! This can include time at a dog park depending on your dogs comfort level with other dogs.

professional dog care experience
Pet care experience
I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and care needs both in a professional setting and as a pet owner! At my previous doggy daycare job, I walked, fed, administered medication to, and boarded with dogs. I also have cared for cats for 3 years and have some experience caring for birds (and absolutely love them! particularly cockatiels and conures)
Cat care experience

Rachel also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

RJ was AMAZING with my babies. I’ve never had such a more relaxed time away from home. I was constantly updated throughout the day with messages and pictures. The dogs absolutely loved their time at home while I was away when typically they have separation anxiety. I would absolutely recommend RJ to anyone looking for a down to earth, well skilled and talented sitter!!
Rachel E. cancelled a booking 5 days before it was scheduled to begin.

RJ was a great pet sitter for my dog. She sent me photos daily and gave me brief updates. I could tell he was well cared for and I'll definitely use RJ again for other pet sits.

Thank you Rachel. You are absolutely amazing. Niko was so happy 😊. We're looking forward to booking you again. Thanks again
