Professional dog trainer
I began working in professional dog boarding facilities at 16 years old, and animals have been a huge part of my life and career ever since. Over the years, I’ve worked in veterinary care, grooming, corporate doggy daycares, and professional dog training, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and needs. I have been professionally training dogs for the past 12 years and also trial and compete with my own personal dogs. I’ve worked with everyone from young, energetic puppies to seniors who require extra patience, medication, mobility assistance, or individualized care. Many of the clients I work with today have been trusting me with their dogs for 5+ years, which is something I’m incredibly proud of. Building long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners is one of my favorite parts of what I do. My background allows me to recognize changes in behavior, health, and comfort and provide a level of care that goes beyond simply feeding and letting a dog outside. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priorities.

Pepper took such great care of Murphy! It was obvious from the updates and photos that Murphy was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Pepper was reliable, communicative, and treated Murphy like family. I had complete peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely book with Pepper again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!
Pepper was great with Marley. Took lots of pictures and kept us updated on how she was doing. Will definitely ask her to keep Marley again.

Schedule
Pet care is a big part of my daily life, not something I squeeze into my schedule. I work from home and am home full-time, so I’m able to give the dogs consistent attention, supervision, exercise, enrichment, and rest throughout the day. My schedule is built around their needs, with regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and individualized care. I keep my schedule intentionally flexible so each pet gets the attention and routine they need while they’re in my care.

My property is completely fenced, offering ample space for your pup to frolic and play freely! Indoors, they'll receive the same love and care as if they were my own pet. Unless you specify otherwise, your dog is more than welcome to join me on the bed or sofa during our downtime. Because they're truly part of the family.
A typical day
I care for pets in my own home, where I am home full-time and able to provide hands-on care throughout the day. With my background in training, I enjoy keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged while also making sure they get plenty of rest and downtime. Our day typically starts around 7 AM with outside time and a walk, followed by breakfast. Throughout the day, dogs are taken outside as needed and generally have opportunities for a walk or activity every couple of hours. Depending on the individual dog, activities may include neighborhood walks, playing fetch, frozen Kongs, puzzle toys, training exercises, or supervised play with another compatible dog. Dinner is generally served around 5–6 PM, with our final outside time around 11 PM. I also follow each dog’s individual feeding, medication, exercise, and rest requirements whenever possible. My home has a fully fenced backyard, plenty of toys and fresh water, tires and a tire swing for enrichment, and 24/7 surveillance. I provide blankets, bowls, toys, and a TV with relaxing music to help dogs settle in comfortably. I also send daily photos and updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you’re away. 🥰 My goal is for your dog to feel like they’re staying in a second home, not just being boarded. 🐾

Please let me know ahead of time about any specific needs, routines, behaviors, triggers, or restrictions your pet has. This can include things like being unable to be around cats or other dogs, chasing wildlife, leash reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, crate preferences, medication, mobility concerns, specific rest periods, feeding routines, or anything else that helps me understand your pet. The more I know, the better I can care for them! My goal is to make their stay as stress-free, safe, and comfortable as possible while keeping their individual routine and needs in mind. 🐾
