I have been dog and house sitting since 2003. I have experience with all breeds (and cats). I'm happy to care for other pets in the home. I love dog park adventures or an easy stroll through a park. I have a good eye for dogs in social settings. For overnight in home pet sits I do best with a written set of instructions. I am easy going and safety minded when animals are in my care. I have had animal companions most of my life. As of 2024, I have an indoor outdoor cat. I love a good lap dog, of any size. I can handle animals with medically specific needs as well. I have lots of glowing local references. My schedule is flexible during the day. I look forward to meeting you and your 4-legged family! My rates reflect the 2025 increase from 15% to 20% cut that Rover now takes. You can find me on fb to book with me directly to avoid the fees paid on your end, and the 20% cut they take on my end. P.S. My pronouns are they/them, and I identify as non-binary.

Oscar was fantastic with our two pups- one who is having some aggressive behavioural issues. It was such a relief to have them there with them, they were extremely communicative and I felt confident that they were able to handle them.
Oscar was very kind and communicative! I was feeling anxious about leaving our dog, and they were attentive to making sure our expectations were met.

This was my first time using Rover and Jean-Luc’s stay with Oscar was more than I could have hoped for! Frequent photo/video updates, special attention for Jean-Luc’s anxious nature and an all around “calm dog energy” all made for a wonderful experience and minimal worry while I was away. Would use Oscar again in a heartbeat!
Oscar was amazing with our anxious dog Beau. They were very kind and patient and were generous with their update photos. Will definitely be boarding with them again!

Schedule
I'm a letterpress printer and artist. I make work, and fill orders, in my home studio. I teach and sub part time. My schedule is somewhat flexible.

I am very safety-minded. I get detailed information from my clients about how to respond to a crisis or an escape artist. I read the animal's cues and offer comfort and care while thier people are away.
Pets
A typical day
For cats, we'll do whatever thier favorite thing is: cuddles on the couch, play, watching the birds, etc. For dogs, play time, exploring the yard, going up to the dog park (there's one very near my house in Hapeville), neighborhood strolls, and lots of attention.
