Confident, caring and experienced
I offer a level of care that comes from experience rather than just occasional pet sitting. I’ve raised and trained my families dog from a puppy, when her and I first developed a tight bond so I’m confident handling young dogs and reinforcing good behaviour like basic commands and leash manners. I’ve also looked after rescue dogs, which has helped me develop patience and an understanding of different temperaments, including anxious or nervous pets. My family dog now has arthritis, so I’m experienced in adapting care to suit changing needs, whether that’s shorter, gentler walks or keeping them mentally stimulated when physical activity needs to be limited. Friends and family regularly trust me to walk and care for their dogs and I always aim to make every pet feel safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Niamh was the perfect dog sitter! She kept Artù very entertained, walked him a lot, and even set up mental stimulation games for him :) She has a dog camera, so for the short time Artù was alone, she was always able to keep an eye on him. She also regularly sent me photos and videos. I will definitely ask her to look after Artù again if I need it :)
Niamh has walked our dog for a long time. Shes reliable and has built a fantastic relationship with our dog, this is obvious by the frantic tail wagging when Niamh appears at the door. I would have no problems in recommending Niamh to anyone.

I am just finished my criminology degree at Abertay university, while working at a local shop. I’ve recently finished my criminology degree and currently work part-time at a local shop, which gives me a flexible schedule. Over the summer, I’m taking some time to relax and plan my next steps, so I have plenty of availability to dedicate to pet care. This flexibility means I can adapt to different routines, whether that’s regular walks, drop-in visits, or longer stays and give each pet the time and attention they need.

I care for pets in my own home, where I can provide a calm, safe, and attentive environment. I live in a flat with a secure enclosed garden and no animals so your pet gets my full attention. There is a park just a 5-minute walk away, which gives pets a great space for exercise and outdoor time. I make sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible, with plenty of attention, play, and care throughout the day. While I don’t offer overnight stays in the owner’s home, I’m committed to making pets feel comfortable, relaxed and well looked after in my own space.
