My name is Mona Lisa. I have loved animals since I can remember. My mom and dad always dreaded me walking in the door because they were afraid of what I might try to bring in with me. I wanted to take care of every animal I came in contact with growing up. I did spend some time in a veterinarian clinic in my teens helping out my best friends mom, and even though I chose a different career path for awhile (psychology), I always knew I would care for pets in some way eventually. I love being around any and all animals. I protect them and care for them just as I would my own family. I love cuddles on the couch, playing ball, and enjoying each personality that I meet. I look forward to being there and to ensure your pet('s) are in good hands and they are happy and healthy while you are away. My dogs are very gentle and love all other dogs big, or small. They get so excited when we have doggies come and visit :) I am a full time dog sitter so I am always home to care for your furry loved ones, except for a quick trip to the store, or other short errands. I have a house, 3 car garage called the doggy shack, and small Ministry on the property as well. They are welcome to be with me any where im at no matter what I am doing. I do not crate unless the owner(s) request me to. I have created an environment just for doggies so they have freedom and a feel at home stay. I only kennel them just to eat so there is no bullying and it helps me to monitor what they are eating. They are welcome to sleep with me on the couches or bed whatever makes them feel comfy. I strive, to make them feel loved and cared for so they are relaxed and can enjoy their time away from home. I devote all of my time to my pets that stay since I am full time at pet sitting so they get 24/7 love and care. They are welcome to sleep with me, or do what makes them happiest. I always cater to their likes and wishes, its their vacation time too :)

This was the second time I have used Mona. She let me know my dogs were doing well the entire time I was away. She does a very good job communicating. That means a lot to me! I will definitely use her again!
Very caring! Took care of our dog, and was kind to interact with. Mona clearly loves animals! We will be happy to book with her again.
Mona has watched our baby Sergio twice now and we couldn’t be happier with how she takes care of him. She sends lots of photos and updates and he is always taken care of excellently by Mona!
Mona was great with my dog, Tilly! She was warm and patient and sent me updates and photos throughout the week. It was a relief knowing that my girl was in good hands while I was out of town!

Schedule
I do this full time, so I am home most the time except for quick errands and maybe a check in, or dog walk here and there.

I care for all animals like I would my own when they are with me. I believe all animals should be loved and understood no matter what their issues are, or what type of interaction their personalities crave. I try to make them happy even if it means throwing the ball 200 times :)
Pets
A typical day
I have a large fenced in property with locked gates for added protection. We DO NOT use front entrance for drop off, we use the side gate on Chester st. next to house and church, or the alley behind big gates in back of property is fine to park as well. Its much safer than the front,because of the busy street. If you get here and I do not reply to texts or calls quickly please try again. Sometimes the dogs are loud and its hard to hear my phone., or I run back and forth from house and garage to grab or do something and forget to grab my phone and I may miss your call. You can also knock on back corner of garage as a last resort, to get my attention as we are mostly in there. There is a pool filled at all times with fresh water for those hot days, a sand box with canopy, and a water sprinkler for lots of playing and jumping in the water as well. There is a huge tree on the side of my house towards the front that provides plenty of sticks I collect for chewing and hanging out outside (They always seem to gather on the patio and have little stick parties :) I also have a huge air-conditioned 3 car converted garage with toys for playing, big couches and plenty of dog beds for lounging, and staying cool when we are not outside. During the cold weather months, we like to lounge around the fireplace heater, watch T.V., play with toys, and belly rubs and scratches are always given freely. I put forth extra effort, in any way I can, to make it an awesome home away from home for them. For the cats we have an office in our ministry building on the same property that we have set up for them. The cats love it in there and I am in and out several times a day to play with them and make sure they are content :) Since dogs and cats dont always mix its just so much better for them to have their own space.

- If there is anything the owner (s) think I should know before I commit to watching a pet, please feel free to put that in your request. I may have other dogs on some days as well so food aggression, or other issues is important for me to know. I have had a couple complaints about dogs smelling like smoke in the past. So I would like to add we do use a fire pit on occasion, safely of course. I am all about outdoor activities. If anyone smokes cigarettes that visits, its outside as well. It's possible that you may or may not smell something on your pet that may resembles smoke if they are the type to stay close to me, or on my lap frequently, I am very mindful of all our dogs health and safety so please know that its very important to me .
