Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I plan my day around the pets in my care to ensure they receive timely meals, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether I’m providing boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walks, I make it a priority to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident that their furry family members are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. Boarding (my home): Pets staying in my home are treated like family. They receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, regular potty breaks, fresh water, meals according to their schedule, and a safe, clean, comfortable environment. I work to maintain their normal routine to help them feel relaxed and at home. House Sitting (client’s home): I care for pets in the comfort of their own home while maintaining their regular routine. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after pets, and providing companionship. I also respect and care for the home by bringing in mail, watering plants if requested, and keeping everything tidy. Drop-In Visits: During each visit, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, playtime, affection, and a quick wellness check. I also send updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing. Dog Walking: Every walk is tailored to the dog’s energy level and needs. I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses, provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, ensure access to water when needed, and wipe paws after walks if requested. I always monitor pets closely for signs of stress, fatigue, or discomfort. No matter which service I provide, my goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind through dependable care and regular communication.

Before caring for your pet, I’d love to learn as much as possible to ensure they have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, energy level, and any commands they know. It’s also important to tell me about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears or anxieties (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), behavioral concerns, and how they interact with other people and animals. Please let me know if your pet has any escape tendencies, leash reactivity, or other safety concerns. I’d also appreciate knowing your veterinarian’s contact information, emergency contacts, and any house rules or preferences you’d like me to follow. The more I know about your pet’s personality and routine, the better I can provide personalized care and help them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet has a different personality, so I tailor activities to what they enjoy most! We may go on walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or enjoy interactive toys and games that provide mental stimulation. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend time cuddling, giving belly rubs, brushing them, or simply keeping them company. If I’m boarding or house sitting, I also make time for outdoor play (weather permitting), enrichment activities, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My goal is to keep pets happy, active, and comfortable while maintaining the routine they’re used to at home. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see all the fun your pet is having while you’re away!

I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a passion of mine. My experience includes working at a veterinary hospital and completing schooling as a veterinary assistant, giving me hands-on knowledge of pet health and care. I treat every pet that comes into my home as if they were my own, providing them with love, patience, and individualized attention. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, visiting the park or dog park (with the owner’s permission), and making sure they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. My daughters are also animal lovers and enjoy having pets in our home. They understand the importance of being gentle and respectful, helping create a welcoming, family-oriented environment where pets can feel safe and comfortable. In addition to daily care, I’m experienced in administering oral medications and injections when prescribed, as well as providing basic grooming services such as baths and nail trims. My goal is to give every pet the same level of care, comfort, and attention I’d want for my own, while giving pet parents peace of mind that their furry family member is in caring, capable hands.
