Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me — it’s something that truly brings me happiness and peace. Spending time with animals is therapeutic for me, and I naturally give them my full attention, patience, and affection. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and comfort level so they feel safe and loved. I’m gentle and encouraging with puppies who are learning, and extra attentive with senior pets who may need a slower pace. I treat every pet as if they were my own and truly enjoy building a bond with them while giving owners peace of mind.

When caring for pets, I always focus on keeping their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully — including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, playtime, and any special needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while also respecting their space and personality. I keep the home clean and secure, and I always send regular updates and photos so owners feel at ease while they’re away. No matter the service, I treat every pet like they’re my own and make their comfort, happiness, and well-being my top priority.

Mi'kaya was supposed to check on my cat every other day when I was away. Sh started a day late. She was generally not very responsive and would stop answering in middle of conversation. She seemed to not understand that idea of needing my car checked in on every other day and would often ask if she should check up on my cat. It was hard to tell when she checked in on my cat ( don't know what days she went to my apartment) she was inconsistent with sending pictures. She also tried to renegotiate the sitting schedule to request more check in (likely trying to make the job more worth her time). Which was not what I was requesting.
Mi’kaya took great care of my kitten and dog. She was attentive, responsive and very nice!
Mi'kaya was very kind to my cat and spent a full day with him, which I appreciated. She followed the care instructions and was receptive to feedback when I raised concerns; she. She responded respectfully and was willing to make adjustments. There were a few bumps in communication and timing, which I understand can happen, especially for someone just starting out. I prefer to be asked about certain things in advance (such as bringing someone to the apartment or leaving the lights on), and I could have cleared that up upfront. I think with more experience, she’ll continue to grow and improve.
Mi’kaya is a wonderful sitter and took good care of my two cats while I was gone to my home country for a month long visit. She is responsible and friendly. I trust her for any future sits that I might require for my cats.

Schedule
Caring for your fur babies fits easily into my routine and is something I genuinely enjoy. I work full time Monday–Friday, but I make time for pets before and after work and I’m fully available on evenings and weekends. I’m intentional with my schedule so pets still receive consistent care, attention, and love. I truly enjoy building bonds with the pets I watch and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for as part of my day.
