Mi'kaya was supposed to check on my cat every other day when I was away. Sh started a day late. She was generally not very responsive and would stop answering in middle of conversation. She seemed to not understand that idea of needing my car checked in on every other day and would often ask if she should check up on my cat. It was hard to tell when she checked in on my cat ( don't know what days she went to my apartment) she was inconsistent with sending pictures. She also tried to renegotiate the sitting schedule to request more check in (likely trying to make the job more worth her time). Which was not what I was requesting.

Mi'kaya was very kind to my cat and spent a full day with him, which I appreciated. She followed the care instructions and was receptive to feedback when I raised concerns; she. She responded respectfully and was willing to make adjustments. There were a few bumps in communication and timing, which I understand can happen, especially for someone just starting out. I prefer to be asked about certain things in advance (such as bringing someone to the apartment or leaving the lights on), and I could have cleared that up upfront. I think with more experience, she’ll continue to grow and improve.
