I’ve been overseeing a variety of animals and their care since I was young. My first pet was a Himalayan cat gifted to me at four years old, and then a few years later a black cat with white paws that I named Mittens. I also grew up with an amazing chocolate lab, Hunter. I have had numerous fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, etc. My best friend growing up had ferrets so I am also acquainted with them and their care as well. My eldest sister lived on a farm where I helped care for an array of animals such as: horses, peacocks, sheep dogs, Dobermans, and reptiles. I volunteered at a dog shelter and got an opportunity to work with several breeds and their respective needs and personalities. Currently, I have a 14 year old male Maine Coon cat named Romeo whom I adopted from the Humane Society as a kitten, and another four year old female cat named Juliet who I adopted after she was abandoned in 2019. I also have a sweet pit mix dog named Toby. As well as tend to farm animals such as: chickens, a Muscovy duck, and babydoll sheep.
