On moving back to BC after several years out West, my partner and I spent several years house/pet-sitting for friends and family - caring for their homes and pets while they travelled the world. Settled in Victoria now, I love helping people while they are away from home in knowing that their beloved pets are cared for as if they are my own!

We had a wonderful experience with Michaela! Her familiarity with Frenchies immediately put my mind at ease, and it was clear she understood their unique personalities and needs. Michaela was also incredibly accommodating when we had a less than ideal schedule change and needed an early morning drop-off. We really appreciated her flexibility and kindness. Our dog was well cared for, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

Michaela and Ben took great care of my dog Murphy. Murphy is quite nervous with new people/environments but they took great care to make sure that she was as comfortable as possible. They provided me updates about how she was doing and I felt very secure leaving Murphy with them. I would highly recommend Michaela and Ben to anyone seeking a dog sitter!!

Safety, trust & environment
Very experienced and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments - keeping to their routines in a one-on-one environment while their parents are away means that they are comfortable and avoids the anxiety that often comes with kennels. I believe that animals are most comfortable when we can keep to their typical routine and keep up with any commands or behavioural training they are working on - so they can be their happiest, calmest, and best selves.
A typical day
Love hiking, playing, swimming and exercising with your pets, especially outdoors! Let me know if you are working on specific things - we love practicing behavioural training and commands.
