He has cared for our cats and dogs on multiple occasions, including dog walking, pet sitting while we were away on long vacations, and helping us socialize our anxious male Golden Retriever. Michael is extremely knowledgeable about dog care and has always been patient, respectful, attentive, and compassionate with our pets. We especially appreciated how calmly and consistently he worked with our anxious dog. We have always felt completely comfortable trusting our pets in Michael’s care. Michael has cared for our two dogs, cat, and bearded dragon for up to a week at a time while we’ve been on vacation, and we’ve always known they were in great hands. He walks and cleans up after the dogs, scoops the cat’s litter, and cleans our beardie’s vivarium. Our bearded dragon has a very specialized diet and feeding schedule, and he follows his care instructions perfectly. He does a great job giving each pet the individual care and attention they need, and we would absolutely hire him again!

I have known Michael for over ten years. We actually met at a dog park, where I was introduced to their three-legged Lab, Emmi. Emmi was my first glimpse into Michael’s incredible love and passion for animals, and over the years, I’ve watched that love draw animals to them again and again. My own cat, Poe, absolutely LOVES Michael, and I’ve also had the pleasure of watching them care for Violet, one of their several rescue dogs. Violet has special needs and struggles with a great deal of anxiety, but Michael has always loved and cared for her with patience, compassion, and an unwavering belief in who she is. When I got married, Michael was the person I trusted to be my dog handler, since my dog was our ring bearer. And now that I’m leaving for my honeymoon, Michael is once again the person I’ve asked to care for my animals—this time, my cats. Every year, Michael also takes their social dogs to the Renaissance Festival, where they get to experience all the excitement, people, and wonders of the day together. It’s just one more example of how much they love giving their animals a full and joyful life. It’s genuinely hard to think of anyone I would trust more with my animals than Michael. They treat every animal in their care as an individual, with patience, kindness, and genuine love. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets.

Michael has been an amazing pet trainer that has worked with many types of dogs and train them not only simple commands (sit, stay, climb), but also great and patient while potty training. He never gets frustrated with inattention or behavior. Michael has even helped multiple times with knee surgeries on a few different dogs, as well as some with missing limbs. I could not trust him more with my dogs.
