Safety, trust & environment
I am able to take dogs out for walks as much as is required to maintain their accustomed schedules (except for the aforementioned midday time block). I practice safety protocols like proper distance from other dogs and people, careful street crossing, and constant monitoring to avoid ingestion of anything while on our walks. In addition, I always thoroughly clean up after dogs and direct them to pee on hardscaping instead of landscaping.
Information Michael B. would like to know about your pet
Knowing your pet's comfort walking near other dogs, people, or sounds is important for the best outcomes. Being vigilant while walking will keep your pup safe from encountering temptation and obstacles.
A typical day
Throwing a ball or toy is as much fun for me as it is for your pet. Offering treats for good behavior also affords that shared enjoyment. Keeping pets relaxed requires letting them become accustomed to my confident presence before giving them care and leaving them in the same calm manner. There's nothing better than open space to help a dog relax and release anxiety. I always search out those places for a dog walk whether it be a park, trail, or other public green space.

Caring, confident, competent care
Pet care experience
You can feel secure knowing that your pet will be cared for by an experienced sitter with knowledge of behavioral communication. I have cared for all ages, sizes, and sorts of animals: cats, dogs, fish, birds, even mice! I am a full-time sitter/walker, so you can know that my only focus will be your fur, fin, or feather babies. An added bonus, I love photographing those in my care and my clients are really taken with their loved ones' portraits. I am retired from 23 years as a graphic design professional at Johns Hopkins University. You can be secure in knowing that your pet's care is my sole concern and primary occupation. I bring my calm demeanor and confident attitude to help your loved companions feel safe and secure in your absence, whether that is a long work day or a well-deserved vacation.
Reviews

Michael is an absolutely wonderful sitter. We are very grateful to him for how well he cares for Luka and our home.

As always, Michael was great with Luka. He was so happy and had obviously been very well cared for when we got home. Thank you so much, Michael.

If you are looking for the absolute best care for your pup, stop looking right now—Mr. Michael is the one. He stayed at our home for two weeks, and we couldn't be more impressed. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The biggest testament to his care was coming home to a dog who was calm, happy, and clearly very well-loved while we were away. It made our vacation so much better knowing our boy was in such good hands. We can’t recommend him enough! Do yourself a favor and book him!

Michael was amazing. Very communicative, thoughtful, and committed when it came to our Sailor. This was the first time we left our good boy with someone and couldn't be more pleased. He sent amazing pictures and even took care of my plants. The only negative is how much Sailor misses him lol! Michael gets my strongest recommendation and we will definitely use him again. Thank you!!
