I am currently unemployed, although I am working on getting a job. I care for two cats at home full time as well as the occasional care of my roommate's pet skink. I have a 7 year old and an 8 month old who is sometimes a full-time job himself.

I currently live in an apartment so I do not offer care at my home due to my lease not allowing it. However, within the home of my client I try to keep a common eye on the animals, making sure they are fed, have water, and if required the litterbox/bathroom is done whenever they need it.

It is important for me to know boundaries of the pets, likes and dislikes, medication if applicable, and their feeding schedules. I would also love to know their bathroom schedules, if animals that need to go outside.
A typical day
With most pets that I watch, they tend to want to be on their own and doing their own thing so I wait for them to come to me. I have played with cats using toys and my hand, while the dogs I've sat have only really wanted treats a good cuddle.

I have up to a eight years of experience taking care of animals. The most known being cats, dogs, birds, and some farmlife. I also have experience in grooming regarding bathing dogs and cats. This is something I am currently working toward furthering my career in.

We had someone cancel at the last minute and Melissa saved the day!! She was very professional and prompt with replying. She sent lots of photos which put us at ease. My normally very standoffish cat snuggled with her. Definitely looking to hire her again!!
