It started as a kid when my mom did cat rescue and has just grown into a love for all animals!! I have done all breed rescue for years.

Melanie is great, we recommend her 100%. We needed a house sitting last minute. She fed our pets according to the instructions we left and respected our home. She kept us updated with pictures which really provided us peace of mind.
Melanie is super responsible and responsive, and took good care of my cat, who I found well and happy on my return. I will request her services again!

Melanie was very responsive, caring and flexible. Her home is clean and welcoming with a nice wooded back yard. Her dog, though not super social, was very gracious in sharing his home. Melanie even generously brushed our golden retriever (in full shed season) and noticed and administered medicine for our girl’s chronic ear infections. Would highly recommend Melanie and would definitely use her again!
Melanie was a fantastic sitter. I dropped Avatar off at her place so that I could go to a performance nearby. She gave him a lot of attention and care, and even though he’s an anxious dog, he was relaxed and happy when I came to pick him up
Very nice people, did a great job, Emma was happy and relaxed throughout her stay and well cared for. Being her first time staying with an unknown family as an older dog she was very comfortable as the pictures we received showed. Thank you.

Schedule
I only work on the weekend but my grown son is home and does all needed care while I am gone. We also have cameras in home to check on our furry friends when we both go out.

I have a 4 year old doodle, Walter, who loves anything with 4 legs. I have crates available and am able to separate dogs or cats in rooms of their own.

A typical day
Play, Play, Play or take a relaxing walk on one of the nearby trails. Also provides lots of belly rubs, brushing or combing. Indoor bathing if needed
