Active & Experienced Dog Lover
Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds. I recently lost a beloved family dog in Japan, which deepened my appreciation for the importance of compassionate, attentive care for animals. Although I do not currently have a pet of my own, I stay closely connected to animals through volunteering at the humane society, where I help care for and socialize dogs of different temperaments and needs. I am active, reliable, and very attentive to each animal’s individual personality and routine. I enjoy providing safe, loving care, regular exercise, and meaningful companionship tailored to each dog’s needs—whether that means calm indoor time, structured walks, or active outdoor time for more energetic dogs.

Mari was great with our dog. She sent updates and pictures while we were away. She took extra steps on planning what she will do in case of approaching storm. It made me more confident to go on our family trip. I highly recommend her and appreciate her.

I’ve known her her whole life, and she has always been a true dog lover. She grew up surrounded by dogs and naturally has a deep sense of care, responsibility, and affection for animals. Recently, she experienced the loss of a beloved family dog in Japan, which only deepened her compassion and appreciation for animals. Even without having pets of her own right now, she continues to stay closely connected to animals through volunteering at the humane society. She is gentle, reliable, and extremely attentive to animals’ needs, always making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. She is someone I would absolutely trust with any pet, as she treats every animal as if it were her own family member.

Schedule
I work mostly remotely, so I’m home the majority of the day and can provide consistent care and attention. I do have occasional appointments, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are always checked on and cared for regularly. I’m also very active and enjoy hiking and outdoor time, so I’m happy to include pets who enjoy walks, exercise, and being out and about.

I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care or medications. In the home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and not alone for long periods, giving them consistent companionship and supervision. I keep the environment clean, calm, and stress-free, and I’m very respectful of the client’s home, treating it with care as if it were my own.
