I grew up caring for family cats and have experience with daily care routines, play time, grooming and creating calm engaging environments for cats! I volunteered at a local cat shelter where I cared for cats with different personalities, medical needs, and backgrounds. Responsibilities included: - Feeding and cleaning living spaces and litter trays. - Administering medications. - Playtime and monitoring behavior. - Adapting care approaches for anxious or traumatized cats under guidance from the shelter staff.

I always aim to create a calm, safe and trusting environment both for pets and their owners, as I know leaving your pet with something me else can feel stressful. I respect each cat’s personality and boundaries, follow routines carefully and any instructions given, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in their own home.

Maream has been a real life saver for me. I had to unexpectedly extend my trip due to a cancelled flight, and Maream made herself available on super short notice. She and my previous cat sitter took initiative to walk through the care monty needs and to organise a handover of my keys. She gave me detailed reports every day, and went above and beyond to make my Monty comfortable. She made sure to clean up any messes immediately and gave monty a lot of cuddle and play time. Maream also decided to put some "cat TV" videos on which I know monty loves! Due to the fact I was still stuck abroad, we were unable to have a meet and greet beforehand. Despite that, Maream immediately put me at ease with her upbeat nature and great communication. Will definitely book in again!
Maream looked after my cat Mimi so well and was also amazing with my new kitten, Fifi. Mimi can be a little difficult and likes her space sometimes, but Maream was really patient and understood her personality straight away. She knew when to give Mimi space and when to comfort her, which made such a difference. At the same time, she spent time playing with restless little Fifi and kept her entertained and comfortable, which really showed her natural understanding of cats and their different personalities. She’s a genuine cat lover, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing both my cats were being cared for by someone so kind, responsible, and trustworthy. I’d definitely recommend Maream to anyone looking for a loving pet caregiver.
