A typical day
Since working at the shelter, I have learned so much about providing mental stimulation to keep your pet occupied and happy throughout the day. I can also provide exercise to those that are high energy.

Pet care experience
I've had pets all my life. I got my own cat when I moved out at eighteen and since moving to Arizona, I have a newfound appreciation from the bonds I've formed during my times volunteering with cats for local shelters.

She was amazing! She took amazing care of our 2 dogs & 3 cats while we were gone for a week. They were spoiled and loved just as if we were at home.
Makela was awesome with our pets! She took great care of them and kept us up to date on how everyone was doing and milestones they got through. 10/10
Makela was absolutely incredible to work with from the first meet and greet to our final farewell. Our kitties were given incredible care and company while we were away. Makela stayed in our home so that our kitties were not lonely and that made us comfortable to leave for our trip. Makela made sure to provide us pictures and regular updates throughout our trip to keep us in contact. I would highly recommend Makela!
Makela did a great job. I’m really glad we found her. She updated us frequently and handled all tasks like walking them and giving different eye drops and oral meds to our pups without issue. We came home to four really calm and happy dogs who had clearly been well cared for and given lots of attention. She’ll absolutely be my first choice in the future!
